Halftime: Steelers 17, Raiders 14

Shaun Suisham kicked a 33-yard field goal at the gun to give the Steelers a three-point halftime lead.
It was a downer for the Raiders in that less than two minutes before, Carson Palmer’s 3-yard pass to Darrius Heyward-Bey tied the score at 14. The Raiders capitalized on a Pittsburgh turnover _ Desmond Bryant forced a Jonathan Dwyer fumble at the Pittsburgh 40 _ to get the score even.
Oakland’s dilemma in the second half will be to slow Ben Roethlisberger, who completed six passes for 64 yards in the two-minute drill as Pittsburgh regained the lead. Pittsburgh went into the half with more than 200 yards passing.

The defensive line is not that bad, they just dont have a pure pass rusher of the edge.
the ILB are playing just fine.
the problem is the secondary. because of there weaknesses, we have to drop back and only send 4.
Taver does have to become more creative though.

Fortunately, the D has contained the run…in fact…Desmond Bryant got the fumble that led to the TD by getting up field and hitting the RB.

I get that. But he could do SOMETHING! Goodson (trade, i know) at least does something once in a while. Spencer had flashes before he went down. Even Adams has played ok on special teams (much steadier if not flashy since he arrived). BUT TOLLEFSON IS NONEXISTENT.
