Coach Allen transcript from Monday
By Steve Corkran
Monday, September 24th, 2012 at 1:51 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Will post comments from players after locker-room access. In the interim, here’s the entire transcript from Raiders coach Dennis Allen’s news conference Monday:
Q: How is Darrius Heyward-Bey doing?
A: He’s doing better. I believe he’s been released from the hospital. He had a concussion and he’s got a neck strain. He’ll make a full recovery. He’s going to be fine. We’ll just have to evaluate him and see where he’s at as far as when we get him back.
Q: Thoughts on the hit?
A: It’s the game of football. I don’t think people are trying to going out there and hurt peopole. The safety was playing the game fast and physical. It’s a tough game to play when you’re making split-second decisions on how you play the game. It’s the unfortunate things that happen in this game but we move on from it.
Q: Talk to DHB?
A: I talked to him this morning.
Q: How did he sound?
A: He sounded tired. But he’s doing OK. He was in good spirits. He’s doing fine and we’re looking forward to getting him back.
Q: Prognosis on when he’ll be back?
A: The concussion is obviously the bigger issue than anything else right now. He’s a guy that we’re going to have to continue to evaluate and see where he’s at. We were all pleased to see that it wasn’t anything severe as far as neck injury or anything like that.
Q: Brandon Myers’ condition after the concussion?
A: He got that late in the game. Brandon’s been in here today and feels fine, no headaches. He still has to go through the protocol of passing all the tests. But it didn’t seem to be severe.
Q: How involved do you get in protocol?
A: That’s what we do as organization. I don’t get individually involved specifically but we all know what we’ve got to go and player safety is the biggest concern. We’re not going to put a guy back out on the field until we know that it’s safe to put him back out there.
Q: Lot of hits taking place across the league Sunday. Thoughts?
A: There’s rules in place to take care of those things and I’ll let the people in charge of taking care of those things take care of it.
Q: Surprised there was no flag on DHB play?
Allen: It’s a judgment call.
Q: After seeing the tape, thoughts on Michael Huff as a corner?
Allen: I thought there were some things that he did well. It’s been awhile since he’s been out there. There’s a learning process out there. It’s not like you just go out there and he looks like an All-American or an all-Pro player the first time he goes out there. There’s going to be a learning process for him. The great thing he was able to learn and we were able to get the win. I would expect the next time he goes out there that he would be a little bit better.
Q: Giving a lot of cushion while other corner playing tighter?
Allen: I think some of that has to do with playing back out there on an island and you know you’re all by yourself out there. It’s just developing that confidence to know that he can do it and we’ve got all the confidence in the world that he’ll be able to do that.
Q: Anything surprise you about what you were able to do yesterday . .
Allen: No, I mean, I think things that I’ve known all along. We’ve got it in us to be a mentally tough team, and compete and fight and keep going until the very end. That’s what you have to do to win consistently in this league and that’s what our guys did yesterday.
Q: Talked about patience, belief in the system, how important to get a win to validate it . .
Allen: Well, any time you have success, it reinforces the message that you’ve been trying to preach. So it was good for our players, for our staff, for our organization to see some of the fruits of our labor. Listen, we’re not a finished product. We’ve still got a lot of work to do and that’s why we’re meeting to day to get all those corrections made and hopefully we’ll get that taken care of and we won’t make the same mistakes when we go against Denver next week.
Q: Areas that were concerns that got addressed form Week 1 to Week 2, run defense, field positon, etc. . .
Allen: Every week it’s something different. No game is ever perfect and there’s always things that you got to improve on and there’s things from week to week that you get better at. I thought our run game was better in the game the other day, the fact that we were able to get two takeaways on defense was an improvement. The fact that we were able to create field position with our special teams, that was an improvement. Our third down conversions on offense was an improvement, was a big part of why we wont the game, so yeah, there were some things in that game that we improved on. Now the challenge is, can you continue to improve on them on a weekly basis.
Q: Did you last night after the win have a chance to celebrate with family?
A: Yeah, we had a good time. Had some friends over and enjoyed it.
Q: Going back just once, it worked out to be a happy day for the organization, but can you take us back to that 10 minutes when DHB was down, unconscious? What was that like?
A: Well it was tough. I was actually out on the field watching everything as it took place. And it was a scary situation, and we’re blessed and we’re fortunate that he’s going to be fine. That’s part of this game that we play and it’s a tough part of the game, but we’re happy that Darrius is going to be fine.
Q: But how did it change the emotional energy? The focus?
A: Well that’s a difficult challenge, and it’s really a difficult challenge for both teams because there’s a flow to the game that you get into and the flow of the game was stalled there for a second. But I thought our guys did a great job of refocusing and doing the things that we had to do to win that football game. And I thought we did a nice job of that.
Q: How much of that do you attribute to Carson? Players talked yesterday about his calmness. What’d you see?
A: Same things I’ve been seeing from him since I’ve been here. That’s why we’re glad that we’ve got the quarterback that we have, because he’s been through a lot of different things and seen a lot of different things, and he doesn’t let a lot of things distract him. He’s got singleness of purpose, and I thought he did a great job – the whole game, and then especially there at the end of the game.
Q: The two, particularly the one to DHB and then the last short TD pass where he broke to the outside and got Denarius, those were tough throws.
A: I thought if there was one thing that you take out of the game from Carson where he had a big improvement, his accuracy, especially under duress, was outstanding. So he understands how to play the game, he can fit the ball into tight windows, and we need our quarterback to play like he played yesterday.
Q: How did Willie Smith grade out in his first start?
A: Overall I thought he graded out pretty well. There’s still some areas of improvement that he’s got to make, but for a young guy to come in and play against a defense like that, I thought he played well.
Q: Carson didn’t have the best start yesterday but was able to come back. What are some of the things that you’re looking to improve going into Denver?
A: With Carson specifically?
Q: With no room for error obviously.
A: Well I mean I think there’s a lot of areas for improvement. Defensively we’ve got to be able to get off the field on third down and then when they get down in the red zone we’ve got to make them kick field goals and not score touchdowns. That was a big thing in the game that led to a big difference in time of possession, so we’ve got to improve in that area. Offensively, I thought we did a better job. Obviously we’ve got to be able to protect the ball, we’ve got to do a better job of staying on our feet and not slipping down, which is what happened on the one interception. So there’s going to be areas that we’ve got to improve in every week.
What kind of week will this be for you, going back to Denver?
“It will be just like every other week. It’s going to be a division opponent. It’s a big game, but we can’t get into individualism. This is a team game. We got a challenge to face the Denver Broncos, and we’re going to come up with a good plan, our players will execute, and we’re going to go try to win a game.”
Is there something that will happen, though, when you step out there on game day, on the opposing sideline? Obviously you have some memories from there.
“Sure, it will be a different feel. It will be a different feel. But that’s another one of those distractions that you can’t let take over. It’s not about me, it’s not about Dennis Allen vs. the Denver Broncos, it’s about the Oakland Raiders vs. the Denver Broncos. We’re going to need a lot more than just me out there to go win a game. So our focus is going to be on our team trying to exploit whatever weaknesses Denver has and eliminate the times that they’re able to exploit whatever vulnerabilities we have.”
Will you have to be looking for wide receivers this week?
“That’s a potential. We’ll look at that. Reggie and I will get together and talk personnel probably this afternoon, so we’ll see.”
What about the energy that the fans brought, especially in the fourth quarter?
“It was going pretty good. We got a great group of fans. The Raider Nation is probably the – they’re the most passionate fans I’ve ever been around, so that was a great feeling, and we need that energy. The players feed off of it, the coaches feed off of it. It’s a big factor in the game.”
What have you been telling the players to keep the penalties down?
“Just do your job, be disciplined, do it right, don’t do things that are going to cost your football team. And like I said before, at the end of the day, I have to do a good job of bringing it to their attention, the players have to do the job of getting it corrected, and they’ve done a nice job of that through three games.”
Everyone was talking about the zone blocking. Do you think you’ve silenced some of that?
“Maybe for a week. That’s the way it is, and we understand that. We go to go out and we got to execute on a week by week basis. That’s what the challenge for us is, and that’s why playing in the National Football League’s so hard because you got to be able to bring it for 16 straight weeks. We’ll go back to work this week, we’ll have a good plan for Denver and we’ll be ready to roll.”
Q: Did you think it would take this long for your offensive system to yield fruit?
A: “Well, it takes time for, anytime there’s something new, anytime there’s change, it takes some time for guys to understand how to work together and how different situations are going to play out. So, yeah, you’re expecting that it’s going to take a little bit of time. It was nice to see some of the results this week.”
Q: Have you had a chance to study video of Peyton Manning yet?
A: “I’ve studied him a lot in the past. I haven’t got a chance, really, to really focus in on them. I’ll spend the better part of this afternoon and tonight, tomorrow, getting a good feel for them. He’s obviously a great player, he’s a Hall of Fame player, and we’ve got our hands full with it.”
Q: Curious to see what Jack Del Rio has done with the defense you ran last season?
A: “Well, yeah, I’ve seen what they’ve done. They’re doing some of the same things that we did last year and then they’ve got their new little wrinkles that they’re doing. Jack Del Rio does a great job coaching defense. He’s always been an outstanding defensive football coach. So, yeah, you watch those guys that you coached and watch them play. They’re doing a good job on defense. They’re flying around, playing fast. We got our work cut out for us.”
Q: How much did you feel the Mile High atmosphere was an advantage for the Broncos?
A: “I don’t recall anything, in particular, where we just said, ‘Hey, we’re going to try to use this as an advantage.’ It’s a tough place to play. They’ve got a good fan base. It gets loud. We got to go and play against a good opponent. We got to get ready to play the game.”
Q: Is Philip Wheeler playing the way you expected?
A: “Yes. He loves playing the game of football. It’s fun for him. It’s not work for him. He enjoys it, he flies around, he tries to make every play on the field that he can. He’s the type of guy that we’re looking for. He’s done a real good job for us, and we’re happy that we got him.”
Q: Look forward to no infield dirt?
A: I think we’re one of … I think we’re the only team that plays on a dirt infield. That’s something we have to deal with. The opponent has to deal with it. It’s another one of those outside distractions that you don’t have control over so you just understand what you’re dealing with and understand how you got to play on the dirt then you move on.
Q: So are you rooting against the A’s?
A: I hope they win. Is there any way we can get a grass infield and they can still win?
Q: How much does it help the offensive line to have Wiz for second straight week?
A: That has a lot to do with it. In our scheme the center has to be responsible for a lot of different things. He was one player we thought made a big step forward this week as far as not only his play but getting us started in the right areas and doing those kinds of things. I think as we develop some continuity in our offensive line and we’re able to keep the same five guys playing on a week by week basis we’ll do nothing but get better.
Q: More no huddle in future?
A: It will be a part of our offense. We’ll see on a week by week basis. Everything is game planned on a week by week basis. Just because we ran it this week doesn’t mean we’ll run it next week. We’ll have to see what we think gives us the best chance to win.
Q: Like how it looked?
A: I was pleased with the way the no-huddle

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned and should be is McFadden doesn’t make that long TD without DHBs blocking downfield. He did a great job

Yup….DHB can never be critiqued about his effort. He has always been an outstanding downfield blocker and hustles and fights.

Streeter and Hagan had some big catches down the stretch too. I wouldn’t bring in another receiver. Play the guys on the roster and hopefully DHB is back after the bye.
I am not sure what adjustments were made in the 2nd half…but the Raiders have the players to execute the offense.
Maybe having Barnes out made a big difference.

Agreed, I like DHB. I like his demeanor, work ethic, and the guy is getting better each game. He’s still not making some of the top tier wideot catches, like the first long ball in the endzone, but is making hand catches more frequently then his previous seasons. Hope he gets well soon, and as someone posted previously. Hope he’s not Jonnie Lee Higgens scared from here out. I don’t think he will be!

That drop in the endzone had me mad as hell at him.
But youre right, its hard to stay mad at a kid that tries as hard as he does.
I doubt he loses his edge after this injury.

If he doesnt know, he should just say so. Instead he said this:
“The concussion is obviously the bigger issue than anything else right now. He’s a guy that we’re going to have to continue to evaluate and see where he’s at. We were all pleased to see that it wasn’t anything severe as far as neck injury or anything like that.”
Which tells us nothing. If the coach dont know, say so. If he doesnt want to tell us, then say that.
This isnt the first time Ive seen him do this. He does it a lot and it drives me crazy.
He doesnt have to tell me chit, if he wants to keep things quiet, fine. Its the politician like rambling about nothing that pisses me off.

Overlooked from Sunday’s game: Raiders caught huge break with Willie Smith not bring penalized for brutal chop block on game-deciding FG. ///Steve Corkran @CorkOnTheNFL
After watching video of the Raiders-Steelers game, the chop block by RT Willie Smith on Steelers DE Ziggy Hood was a legal chop block. ///Steve Corkran @CorkOnTheNFL
Rule stipulates that an offensive lineman can chop a defender as long as the defender is engaged by the adjacent offensive lineman.
—-
Hate to do this…
I TOLD YOU GUYS.
————–
Wow, I’ll admit I was not aware of this. I actually thought it was a blown call, but am happy to know now that it wasn’t
Per my Googlie Machine:
Here’s the official rule, which a league source has forwarded to PFT: “On a running play, A1, an offensive lineman, chops a defensive player after the defensive player has been engaged by A2 (high or low), and the initial alignment of A2 is more than one position away from A1. The rule applies only when the block occurs at a time when the flow of the play is clearly away from A1.”
And so, if the center hits a guy high and a tackle hits him low, it’s a penalty. When it’s a center and one of the two guards, the chop block is not illegal.

——–
We wont be a great team until DHB can start making big time plays.
I love the kid, but lets be honest…
He dropped a pass he should have had in the endzone earlier in the game.
And on the play he got hurt on, he dropped that pass before he was ever hit. The safety didnt even have to hit him and that would have ended up incomplete.
Obviously he makes the plays in practice otherwise Palmer wouldnt be throwing him the ball in these situations. DHB just needs to start delivering in the games. With his work ethic, I expect it to happen.

No I wouldnt say that. But who am I to judge.
He just has a lot of very odd tweets. Seems to be spending a lot of money. Ive been told on good authority that he’s the type of player that will definitely be broke within 2 years out of the league.
90% of the players end up in that situation so its not like it should be a surprise.
If Chad wants to be back in the NFL, I dont think he’s going about it the right way. From the look of his tweets its been one giant party for him since the Dolphins dumped him.
If I was a GM, I’d want to see Chad in the gym and training and preparing to come back. Not tweeting about wild nights in Vegas and Miami.
Plus, just a lot of his tweets have a very dark tone to them. Maybe Im reading too much into it. There is a good possibility that he has always been this wacky on twitter. I wouldnt know, I only started following him since the Fins dumped him.

I’m sitting in the sportsbook taking in all the morning games. Some darn good action and fantastic finishes, but it’s all a prelude to the RAIDS.
Can’t wait to see the game.
Rooting against the Chefs and against OT bcz OT means the book is going to continue showing the CBS feed and I’m going to miss the beginning of the Raid game.
Course that means OT is inevitable. Then it takes forever to get that turkey over. I’m barely watching that game instead I’m mainly watching the Tits/Lions, Jets/Fins and MVick taking a beating in Az.
Finally the Chef game ends and instead of the Raids coming on – the bastages switch to the Jet game !
Was thrilled when the NFL moved the start time for late games back, precisely bcz I thought it would put an end to this crap.
Nope, still missed almost the entire first quarter.
Without the later start would have been even worse.

True who does know, I do think he’s a bit eccentric, and obviously a narcissist. Which would only explain the need to stay busy with his mouth and actions, while trying to remain relevant. I always like a comeback story and would like to see it with Chad. In all fairness, Moss, Plax and Owens have had there chances. I don’t consider the Dolphins a valid chance. That gold digger did Chad in, in my opinion based of nothing but gut feeling. I’d likely head butt her ass too(not really). Plus I think that Philbin wanted him gone before the headbutt. But if he fades out of the public eye on these terms, being broke and depressed could lead to his demise, but I hope not.

Great win this week. But this upcoming week is a big test. It’s Raider week in Denver. And DA will have to have his team up mentally and physically for this game. Lane made the mistake of thinking that his first game vs Denver was “just another game”. And we got rocked. Good test for a young coach to see if he can win consistently. Interesting thing is that this the second time that a team would have seen our offense the week before they play us. Knapp has to throw some curve balls at Del Rio or it’s gonna be Miami all over again. I liked that we used more inside zone than wide and that the O line was actually cut blocking this week. Getting Myers back is going to very important or the over TE’s are going to have to step up. The style of offense offers a lot of opportunities to the TE. Great to see Reece part of the gameplan. He is a matchup nightmare. Still not sold on the new regime but there is potential here.

I’m not anywhere near my computer next Sunday Bay2LA but I’ve never failed when I wanted to get a link online.
You used to be able to get a good HD link on Veetle.
They used to show the ESPNAmerica-which is in Europe-NFL link and is always a good picture.
Maybe the best place though is tvpc.com because they specialize in searching the net for links to most live US tv. That way you don’t have to search. They have most everything most of the time.
They have east/west Fox or CBS network links but if you click on sports you’ll see loads of games that they will have on during the day including the NFL.

knapptime has taken a lot of flak so do we give him credit for our offensive outburst or do we chalk it up to Carson doing a lot of audibles?
——
Hard to say. Kneejerk reactions are hard to swallow. But I will say that it speaks volumes as far as the response of the Players and coaching staffs. No doubt, it was a hot weak for Knapp. And I honestly liked what I saw, outside of a few 3rd down calls early. So I say he showed some brass ones responding like he did, as did the players for making him look good!
September 24th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
Now some commentary about the game.
Helluva win. Team showed heart battling from behind all day.
Still say Knapp sucks, but was thrilled to see some shots down the field taken.
Palmer played his best game as a Raid. Some big throws into tight windows and his accuracy was excellent.
Really like the on-side kick call by DA and Hoffman. Didn’t work out, but they clearly had seen something on tape that could be exploited and weren’t chickensht about taking a gamble on it.
Saw a clip of DA speaking to the troops after the game. Apparently, the men gave him the game ball. Tits said he appreciated it, but it was a TEAM win – O, D and ST – and EVERY ONE gets a game ball.
On to Denver.
Mules can be had.
Opening line for this Sunday:

In 2007 under Greg Knapp the Raiders had wins in week 3 and 4 (26-24 over the Browns & 35-17 over the Dolphins) after going 0-2 to start the season.
The Raiders finished 4-12
In 2008 under Greg Knapp the Raiders won in week 2 (23-8 over the Chiefs) and a win in week 7 (16-13 over the Jets) before Knapp was relieved of his playcalling duties in a week 9 loss to the Falcons.
Knapp was 6-18 as OC/Playcaller
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3699316
…………
A 1 point last second victory doesn’t convince me that Knapp’s offense is great.
I enjoyed the win, as I do every Raiders victory, but I still have my doubts concerning Knapp and the Zone Blocking System.
I want to see production consistently before I jump aboard the Knapp bandwagon.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thanks for the response. I actually used to use Veetle back when Myp2p was still up before the DMCA takedown. It was not malicious and taking over the OS was likely the place you were downloading it from, or an issue with your Virus software, although would guess the former, but can’t be certain. I can still find streams for NFL, although kind of bunk quality. However, so far have not found anything relating to pac 12 network. But I do know there is official streams, I just don’t have Comcast, Xfinity account to log in. Some good person out there has got to be streaming it I would think. Atleast I hope. I’ll be looking the rest of the week for it!

Reggae Boat Parties 140 N Marina Dr Long Beach, CA 90803 (562) 799-7000
I am being completely honest and unbiased as I write this review while sitting on the Reggae boat cruise… My group paid $45/each and were told that BBQ was included. Well it is NOT. In addition the only food on the “Reggae cruise”are Domino pizza slices and BBQ wings: for $5 each. The boat is the cheapest piece of crap I have ever been on and had we not paid for our tickets in advance, I would have never boarded. 2nd, and most importantly the boat did not leave until around 6:30, even though we were scheduled to leave at 6pm, which means right now I am being held HOSTAGE until 9:30pm! To make a horrible experience even worse we are riding around in a 1/4 mile circle!! The boat is literally a rip-off! Party people BEWARE!

The game against Denver has to be tit or tat. We cant get way ahead and then let Manning come back, building momentum, getting the crowd in an uproar. That will definitely end in defeat. I hope that we go blow for blow, and we land the last score with 3 seconds left on the clock. Go Raiders. Besides we MUST WIN Sunday because after the bye, we got to go to Atlanta and beat the Red hot Falcons. We must stop the AFC west shut-out! That is a low probability propostion.

Perfect HD picture online and you get all teams; you more than one game at a time if you want; and you watch archived games.
Naturally, you have to pay for it.
Then if your computer and your tv have an HDMI link-any you have some old stuff if you don’t-you connect the computer to the tv with an HDMI cable.

Any thoughts on DA’s strategy on the last drive ?
Thought the Raids could have used a TO during the drive and wasted some precious seconds.
Thought the Raids might have tried for a few more yards, but DA was clearly comfortable with Jani nailing the game winner from 42.
Saw a few cutaways to Jani getting ready, kicking into the net, walking around. Actually was SMILING at one point.
I knew this wasn’t going to be a replay of the AZ game 2 years ago.

Dang, all this talk about a dirt infield makes me laugh. You’d think the dirt was concrete or something.
All through the great years the Raiders played here, they had to deal with the extended basesball playoff season because those were the championship A’s years.
Do you think Blanda, Lamonica, Stabler gave much thought to a dirt infield?
Or Hubbard, Smith, Davis, Banaszak, Van Eeghen, etc? Heck, no. Same thing with with the receivers. Just play. They grew up in the sandlots and on grass that could hardly pass as grass.
Doesn’t it make sense that a receiver knowing he was going to be running from grass to dirt would modify his cut a bit? These media people make such a big deal of stuff I think they actually get into the heads of the players.
Just play.

What an insult to real reggage music! Oh and the smart a** fake a** bartender….what a B*tc*! The security is WHACK! and appears to NOT like Hispanic folk, but loves the Persian/Armenia folk, they were allowed to bring their liquor on, but the hispanic and blacks were checked and werent allowed to bring even a water bottle on board and it was Real water BTW! Please can someone tell me who ever heard of a business charging for frozen (costco brought) food and then making you COOK IT YOURSELF?? That’s right we paid for frozen chicken wings and had to cook them ourselves, WTF??? And then the pizza was $3 a slice…..straight from Domino’s, WTF??? This company made a cool $6300 alone from the $45 (or $49 depends if you brought tickets from TktM)admission on that TUGBOAT and then they made atleast another $2-3k on drinks and that fake a** food. I have not seen a blantant act of false advertising in many years, this was the absolute worse. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. We wasted $135 for 3 of us. They should be ashamed of themselves for lying about this. The picture of the boat on their website is NOT the boat that we sailed on, no way shape or form!”

What a joke, you call yourself a business just close your doors now and call it a day, you obviously do not care about your customers, and based on your BBB review http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Cruise-Lines/Star-Party-Cruises-in-Long-Beach-CA-13079600
it is apparent that you don’t care and are not in the business of servicing your customers. I have am just in awe of your rude staff and t…he lack of accountability that your organization demonstrates, Really!!!!!!!!! I mean really why are you in this business, whoever is in charge really needs to re-evaluate why they are doing what they are doing. You have single-handedly ruined a night that was meant to be magical and fun. Don’t give yourself too much credit though, you’re a dime a dozen and we will take our business elsewhere. We are in the 21st century and I cannot believe in this day and age you think you can pull off poor customer service and not hear about it, have you checked yelp lately, BBB, Facebook? As a business person you should know that the most powerful form of communication is word of mouth, and I am personally committing to you that I will spend the rest of the holiday season making sure that everyone knows what a JOKE your establishment is.
So, I bought tickets for the December 16th Lights Cruise – an Office Holiday Party booking for 24 people – took my reservation into the office and was told by the girl there that yes, there was plenty of room on that 6:00 cruise (This was on December 5th, so, well in advance of the desired date). However, she was really busy at that moment, so would I mind coming back to pick up the tickets…of course not! I leave the reservation with her, along with my credit card and go happily on my way….Today, December 13th – 3 days before the cruise – I call and tell her that I am coming to pick up the tickets today and she says to me “Oh, I am sorry, I wish someone had called you – that boat was bought out buy someone else and so we can’t accomodate your party – even though I made the reaservatuion first…Then, as I was asking why no one called me (and worse, I may not have known until Friday if I hadn’t called today) She then told it was not her fault, and HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and no one would pick up the phone….seriously??? Is this how business is conducted? What a horrible experience – I know I can’t do anything about it, but I wanted to vent. And I will tell everyone I know not to do business with this company – ever.

However, so far have not found anything relating to pac 12 network. But I do know there is official streams, I just don’t have Comcast, Xfinity account to log in. Some good person out there has got to be streaming it I would think. Atleast I hope. I’ll be looking the rest of the week for it!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I wouldn’t mind watching PAC 12 games myself.
Anyone else know of a link to watch PAC online games without having a cable or Direct tv account?

I’d prefer he won the game – f all the other stuff, which really doesnt matter anyway.

Some tremendous throws by CP yesterday.
The fade into the right corner of the EZ on the DHB TD was perfect.
The spin and throw on the DMoore TD was sweet.
The pass to Myers that he got concussed on was perfectly placed.
IMO, the best throw of all was the one to Streater. That was a very very difficult toss, cross field, tight window. Excellent velocity and the accuracy was phenomenal on that one.
Great game by CP.

Every other team, the MLB gets all the credit/blame for the run defense.
Here, it seems like SOME folks want to only give the kid the blame.
September 24th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
If our defense can just find a way to defend the TE, we be able to get off the field on 3rd down.

September 24th, 2012 at 3:40 pm
our safeties had to defend gates and gonzalez for years and did a decent job. Huff should be on te’s and he’s looked good against the run and pass so should mitchell be starting over branch?
September 24th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
in the interview, he talks about his long beach apartment!
September 24th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
This Huff to corner move really has me feeling good about the corner spot.
Some of you may not have liked his tackling from the S spot as a las line of defense, but from the corner position, he’s probably already one of the better ones in the league.
Can’t wait to see him in Denver next week against Decker.

McClain … there is 0 arguement there. He is not a great player. Top 10 draft pick. Attitude issues. Isn’t a leader, seems to not talk to any teamates, doesn’t pump the crowd up …. no big plays … jogging around all the time …. sat on bench by himself while CP3 was drivng the game winning drive, seemed disinterested in the outcome.

I was sure one of those people. The guy could cover but tackling was a skill that seemed to elude him just as the target did.
I agree with you, I think maybe this will be a good move.

purvis–yeah i’m owned, having a meltdown, flaming out, etc, etc. i couldn’t care less about that sh!t.
i’ve always disliked beeech b/c he never talks raiders, he disses everyone on here, and there’s nothing worse than a loser who rags on everyone else for being losers.
his moronic “humor” and obsessive repetition are fun to make fun of.
don’t like me. like beeech. i don’t care at all.
but i’m having a great time flushing him out.
September 24th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Typical Raiders, lose games you’re supposed to win, win games you’re supposed to lose.
Under that logic, I’m not surprised the Raiders won. However, I did feel that Big Ben needed a physical azz whooping, and that didn’t happen. In fact he had a pretty good game.

Thank you sir. Try to be fair and objective about him, but I must admit I think he’s a scrub. He’s still on my ish list for the whiffing and jogging and the funeral fiasco. Still if he makes a play, I’m thrilled. Think he does a good job calling the D signals and getting guys set. Think his pass coverage and diagnosing of screens and draws and delays is very underrated. Still think he’s very slow footed and does a poor job overall against the run.
Have to keep it real about 55 in order to prevent my friend in NM from going over the Slo-Mania cliff.
September 24th, 2012 at 3:59 pm
master beeechum=johnny mastro, lead singer and harmonica player for a decent blues band in long beach. the band is actually ok. but u have to see him to put a face to his amazing abilities to score strippers (and talk about weiners).

QB / Cost
Cutler – Two 1st Rounders, one 3rd rounder
Kolb – High 1st rd. player (Rodgers-Cromartie), high 2nd round pick.
RGIII – Three 1st Rounders (likely high), one 2nd rounder
Tim Tebow – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th round picks used in drafting him.
McNabb – 2nd and 4th
PALMER – Mid 1st, mid 2nd.
Doesn’t seem that crazy.

No serious injuries besides DHB yesterday ?
Think we came out pretty good besides that.
What a relief to actually score some points yesterday.
Still think Knapp is crap though.
Disappointed that TP appears to be a weekly ‘inactive’.
Could Krappy be intending to lull the opposition to sleep and not prepare for the wildcat, only to spring it one week ?
Is Taiwan’s rib injury some torn cartiledge or something significant enough to keep him from playing at all – or is he buried in the doghouse due to the botched reverse ?
