A 21-0 third-quarter by the Broncos gives the Raiders a 55-7 disadvantage in that quarter through four games.
Peyton Manning was 26 of 33 for 300 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and Willis McGahee had 100 yards on 16 carries.

Seeing why Hanson got cut. Apparently Reggie didn’t realize he could do anything except cover a d@mned receiver. Another great pick up off the scrap heap.
I wouldn’t care as much if this was advertised as a gutting and a rebuild. The only hit was when Reggie opted for the 85% black out rule. I was nervous when that happened, showed a lack of confidence in the team, even tho nobody was coming out and saying it. At least if I knew we were gonna suck, as usual, it would have been easier to take. Now I gotta take sh!t from everyone I know for the embarrassment of being a raider fan. At least when we knew we were gonna be pathetic they would leave me the hell alone.
I’m ashamed to be a raider fan. I’ll still sit here every week and watch this mess, like I have for the last 20 essentially wasted years. But this team just makes me wanna puke. They r such a humiliation. I used to be able to say ” well at least I’m not a Jacksonville fan or a brown fan”. Not anymore. We r the worst team in the NFL and maybe Division 1 NCAA as well. Getting players with heart and talent takes time.
The fact that DA, Knapp and Tarver got the penalties under control gives me hope.
Also, look at the guys like DVD, Barksdale, Bruce Campbell and Checkwa….guys that are suppose to be depth but had to go because they can’t play ball.
So many players had to go this year and with no cap room and no picks.
We all know that guys like Seymour and Kelly can’t make plays….guys like Huff and Branch have question marks….no pass rush…and lose the two vets brought in to help us get buy.
The Raiders will win some and be a tough out in others…but this most likely will not be the year fellas.. Way too many gaps

Seymour, Kelly, Lechler are gone. DHB will be traded Reece will move on too McFadden will be gone because he doesn’t fit the system. Palmer will be replaced with TJ Yates. Whom Knapp will swear by. Hue wasn’t kidding when he said that they are going to gut this team. The core of this 8-8 team will be gutted and we will compete in a couple of years for an 8-8 record.

I didn’t really even hold out much hope for playoffs (except I did think we had a shot to at least compete in our own division), but this is a farce. I paid direct TV $300 for this sh!t again! And have to drag my kid to Baltimore this year to spend another $600+ just so I can explain to her that “it’ll get better.” I’m so sick of that sh!t. I work hard for my money, wish I could say the same about the 53 bums in the field plus the clueless coaches. HUMILIATING!!!!!

The NFL is not like baseball or basketball where you can buy a roster….so many moving parts and the salary cap forces you to have good management.
The Raiders last year were a WEAK 8-8. It wasn’t like they were mowing opponents down in the stretch and had several stinkers when it counted.
To win, you need real deal players that give 100%….The Raiders have never paid much attention to pay for production…and its biting everyone in the azz right now.

Briesel was a bad signing…hopefully it was just a 1 year contract….Carlisle should be a backup and Barnes at RT was a disgrace.
Fix those guys and the offense would look better. With those three, its hard to run the ball between the tackles.

Raiders need to have higher standards than Hue Jackson….higher standards then simply sneaking in an 8-8.
They need a team that pays its SUPERSTARS to perform at SUPERSTAR level ON THE FILED CONSISTENTLY.
Not a decent game here and there.
The core of this team needed to be rebuilt—period.
Raiders will get lineman that can zone block, they will get DTs that can push the pock and stop the run….find a pair of CBs that don’t cost $1000000MMMMM dollars and find another linebacker or two.
Plenty of cap space and draft picks…no more relying on BROKE DOWN veterans looking for a last pay day.

I’m done w optimism for this team until we r in the playoffs. Which basically means I will have to numbly sit through every game, just praying we don’t embarrass ourselves, for about 10 years. Or maybe forever. No more excitement. No more belief in management or the players or coaching. Nothing. I’m not bailing. I’ve been through too much pain for the last 20 years, and too many good times the 20 years before that. But I’m done being emotionally invested. And I’m done buying their merch, and I’m done buying the ticket (Ill listen on the radio for free). If the Raiders and their management and their players don’t see the point of putting any quality on the field, then I’m not wasting anymore pain or humiliation or money on their crap either.
When they can show they care, then I will again. In the meantime, I can get a lot more done around the house on Sundays.
