  2. Albert Bigelow Paine Says:

Anyone have any predictions on who Vick will play for next year? I say the Chiefs.

  3. Mistic1 Tha Supavillain Says:

No huddle offense is a bad idea for today’s game.

The falcons amoeba defense will not allow Palmer the pre snap looks in the no huddle which in turn limits the play calls. often this will lead to giving the ball back to the falcons far too often especially when you consider our worst than anemic 3rd down offense.

I also expect turner to play a much bigger role than expected. They know we can’t defend the pass or the run. They know that we must view them as a pawing team and will neede to commit extra support on pass defense leaving gaping holes in the run lanes on an already wretched run defense.

    Not looking good

  4. Albert Bigelow Paine Says:

We are probably going to lose this game. The big game is the Jaguars. If Raiders lose that one, then we are officially toast and it will be time to start rooting for a top 5 pick.

  5. kpark829 Says:

    I got five on it

  6. Mistic1 Tha Supavillain Says:

Less is more with Palmer this week.

Romonowski just hammered Palmer offering a pregame excuse about rust off he by week. ” I don’t like what Cason said. Drives me crazy fire up the team no excuses”

He crushed romac too called him ” that dog roll do MacLaine” ” let your balls drop and hit somebody”

    WOW

  7. Albert Bigelow Paine Says:

This is either going to be an amazing victory or a complete embarrassment. Whatever the outcome, it’s going to be epic.

  8. RaiderRockstar Says:

DE Jack Crawford, DT Christo Bilukidi = both inactive??

Jhill was right. Houston will move inside to DT if/when Carter gets into the game

he will also be the 4th DT in the rotation, after Bryant

  9. RaiderRockstar Says:

    TP inactive, too??

Terrelle Pryor deserves better than this!!

  10. SaintKaufman Says:

    Whatup fellas???

Looks like the same loser in here spouting about Palmer. For what, the 8000th time. Get a life dude.

Anyways, Baldinger is absolutely correct about McFadden. He is missing holes and hasn’t broken a single tackle this year. Is this dude hurt??
I say give it to Taiwan and let’s see if this whole ZBS debate has more to do with who’s cutting with the ball.

We CAN win this game. No question. Gonna need a lot of breaks and big plays.

    GO RAIDERS!!!!

  13. TailGater Raider Says:

A loss today would mean listening to Allen sing praises of Atlanta. Don’t want to hear that.

Would rather hear Allen rip some rear end. Tell it like it is.

The best scenario is for the Raiders to win and Allen say we won in spite of knapp and the ZBS. We won because Palmer and Dmac took charge at the line.

  14. Thec Says:

We CAN win this game. No question.

    ==============================

All those internet links have add-ons and virusus’. Be careful. Best way is to go to game center at NFL.com and follow it, then wait for it on tv on the nfl channel. Also, this blog is a great way to follow the game.

    The way I see it…

    Slo stinks.
    Krapp stinks.
Tits in way over his head.

    Atlanta is good, but overrated.

It’s the NFL. Any given Sunday anything can happen.

But I don’t believe in the 2012 Raids.

I try to talk myself into believing there’s a reasonable chance of winning today and/or turning this season around.

Then I think of Krapp and Slo.

I refuse to underestimate how bad this team might be.

Raids strong contenders to be first on the clock come draft day.

So if we win only 1 game this year, can DA get canned?

  33. Mistic1 Tha Supavillain Says:

We will be playing lots of zone in an attempt to his our corners, turner will run all over this team today.

    Unfavorable match up

Palmer vs the amoeba defense pass rush

White jones gonzo vs our secondary

Atl return game vs our coverage

    Turner vs romac

    Romac vs atl strip clubs

    Kelly vs cheeseburgers

    Dmac vs knapp

  34. Just Win Baby Says:

The Raiders will probably have to score over 35 points and force at least 2 turnovers to win this game today.

  35. MistaBrown Says:

This game is going to tell us alot about which way we are going. If changes were to occur it will have been during the bye-week. Either Knapp is going to double down on this garbage or DA forced change.

I always thought that we’d miss Bush but it’s hard to see how we’re the 32nd running team.

We get the running game going today-along with better play calling by Knap-and we’ve got a shot.
TB isn’t as good a team as it’s ranked and they are the 27th against the run.

My heart’s going with the Raiders but my money’s staying in my wallet.

  45. J Hill Says:

  60. DKnight007 Says:

    This hilariously but sad…..

“Darren McFadden active (11:44 a.m. ET): The Oakland Raiders’ official Twitter feed reports that RB Darren McFadden (shoulder, probable) is active. The Raiders didn’t adjust their zone-blocking scheme during their bye week, so McFadden’s fantasy prospects aren’t much different today than they were in the season’s opening weeks. He’s our No. 11 running back for the week based primarily upon volume of touches.”

Basically what that says is The Raiders didn’t get rid of their chitty zone blocking scheme and Knapp is still the play caller so DMC will continue to struggle.

Yep. That’s why I stayed away from DMC this year…the switch zone blocking doesn’t utilize his strengths with crappy Knapp calling plays and his injury history.

    Not a good mix.

Honestly don’t recall you saying best on the team.

I thought JFord and DWow were your guys.

  64. RaiderRockstar Says:

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey hasn’t had many conversations with doctors about the concussion he sustained in Week 3. He doesn’t want to know about it.

Heyward-Bey told NFL Network’s Andrea Kremer that he was knocked out cold with his eyes rolled in the back of his head. He doesn’t remember the hit and didn’t feel like himself until five days later, and he was still foggy.

Heyward-Bey has specifically avoided any education on his concussion, the long-term ramifications and if he’s now more likely to suffer another.

“I don’t want it to affect me on the field,” Heyward-Bey said. “It’s all about the next game. When I’m 50, I’ll worry about that when I’m there.

“Fear, I don’t think I can have fear going into a game.”

That’s a common mentality throughout the league. Play today and deal with ramifications later on.

And that’s why rules geared towards player safety are paramount. Players are going to have that mentality with small career windows. There’s a short opportunity to set yourself up for life. They’re going to take that risk. Rules that legislate hits to the head and the steps to return from a concussion protect players from themselves in an inherently violent game.

If its knapper fault that dmac is struggling, who’s gets the blame for the demphasis of dhb our best wr?

Palmer’s obsession with making more no.1 has hurt our team. Palmer must force feed dhb, he can be a major force especially on 3rd down where we have struggled mightily.

The guys that restored our offense to a potent feared group are jc ( lost job to injury) dmac ( Illsuited for outside zone runs) dhb ( not high on palmers target list? )

Why is the 3rd QB being inactive a big deal?
    =======================================
It’s a big deal bcz it shows the Raids don’t think TP can contribute anything to a team in desperate need of a spark.

It’s a big deal bcz Tits and Krapp are too stupid to see how puttting TP on the field, even if it’s just for a wild cat play or two, might be beneficial.

Expect TP to be inactive week after week.
