So Cam Newton says all he can control is himself then goes on to blame the ’script’. Add this to his sulking. Sorry Mistic, but that’s not leadership material. ==== Baboons NEVER were and NEVER will be leaders...that is their genetic defect that makes them INFERIOR to the superior WHITE man....and WHY the white QB is always SUPERIOR....and that is FACT.

People who take solace in meaningless wins are halfwits.

*********

& people who assume that life itself is a guarantee are quarterwits. Losing into perpetuity also has the effect of creating a lower standard and institutionalizes the fanbase to not expect more. Go look at the loser fanbases in Cleveland, Jax, Buffalo. Losing carries no reward worth what could be nothing more than an overhyped college player.

++++++++++++++

Of course the draft is a game of chance….but your odds of finding a great player in the top five are much higher than finding one in the mid first round.
---
Curry was the 2nd pick in the draft and that wasn't even an Al Davis pick.

I get it though. We can't be scared of high round picks just cuz so many have turned out to be busts.

Prior to the draft .. via walterfootball

Tony Bergstrom, G/T, Utah
Height: 6-5. Weight: 315.
40 Time: 5.27.
Bench: 32.
Arm: 32. Hand: 9.
Projected Round (2012): 3-5.
4/24/12: At the Senior Bowl, Bergstrom showed showed off some nice power and quality athleticism. He held his own against the defensive linemen that other All-Stars were struggling with. Bergstrom has the strength to anchor against bull rushes while his time playing on the edge helped him to slide with speed rushers.

The senior was a first-team all Pac-12 selection in 2011. He was a three-year starter at right tackle for the Utes. In the NFL, Bergstrom would probably be better off if he moved inside to guard.

Let him play Reggie

LA to TheBay Says:
Nope.
It’s hope.
Many have tried to quit. None of the real Raider Nation do.==================================================

I think we should tank the season for another Jarassic or Slomo 1st round pick like Marks hair and Dakota are advocating.
CODE BLACK, BABY!

JLofty Says: As I said a week or so ago, it’s not about how you play in Sept so much as it is how you play in DECEMBER!=============================================

2 years running it mattered. Let's hope it does again. It did not for what 7 years? Ouch.

Moore, DHB, McFadden, Jones, and maybe even Goodson and Reece are fast explosive players. Knapp should be trying to find ways to get the ball in their hands in the open field. The end around to DHB a couple of weeks ago worked well, but we aren't doing that kind of thing enough.

Purvisman/Intrepid/ Full Disclosure Says:

Raider4Life209 Says: How hard was everyone’s heart beating when Jano went for the 64 yarder?============

Very hard. Thought that was it. He’s saving it for when it really counts. And Lechler will be cut as most here want and Palmer or Lionheart or King won’t get it down with ‘Laces out’ and he’ll miss from 65 in the AFC championship game. But, no matter what plastic surgery he gets, Jano will definitely not be as attractive as Lieutenant Einhorn.
