I feel CP is a good QB, but not elite.

Here is my question to the other bloggers:

If we are re-building, sacrificed last season, this season, and next season to that re-building, why pay a king’s ransom for CP? And why not play TP, to find out what he has in talent and bankability for the future?

I am not sure myself, and that is why I ask.
