Halftime: Raiders 13, Chiefs 6

Turnovers have plagued the Chiefs all season, and cost them dearly late in the first half when Javier Arenas muffed a punt, Jon Condo recovered, and Carson Palmer hit Denarius Moore for a 9-yard touchdown pass on third down with 49 seconds left in the half.
It had been a battle of field goals up until then _ two by Sebastian Janikowski and two by Ryan Succup.
Starting quarterback Brady Quinn left with a head injury, with much-maligned (in Kansas City) starter Matt Cassel taking over and providing a spark. Assuming Quinn can’t return, the Raiders are one big hit against the quarterback from making things very interesting. Chiefs No. 3 quarterback Ricky Stanzi is inactive.

I said the keys to the game were the simple ones
1. win turnover battle – check
2. win penalty/big mistake battle – push. their turnovers vs Moores mistakes
3. field position – push
That is why this game is close.
The list of problems with our team and how we look:
1. Oline play – still not any better
2. DE’s – Shonasty sighting led to a pick
3. Dropped passes – still dropping them
4. Special Teams – almost off the hot seat entirely
5. Secondary – Branch having his best game of the year, Huff looking like a pro bowler, Gio doing what he does. This unit is pretty much off the hot seat as well.

The raiders can’t afford to lose this game, the next 4 games are really tough. Palmer must avoid the turn overs this is another game like last week. The qb/ offense that makes the fewest mistakes will win. Simply because these teams are not good enough to survive losing the turn over battle.
A win here will temporarily keep this team in contention, I see them losing at least 3 of he next four. So I view this as another must win game

Too fast for linebackers, too physical for nickel corners. Plus, he catches the ball better when he doesn’t have to track it in the air. He’d be a matchup nightmare playing there, in my opinion.
