They can talk about how the “boy’s” have 1/4 of the number of playoffs wins in the last 17 yr’s as the Raiders and how going back 3 yr’s now they have a worse record than the “lowly” Raiders.

I was reading lastnights discussion of Leinart and Pryor and the propects or their future on this team. Let me say this now if anyone thinks Leinart has a better future on this team or in this league it is at best bias and at least naive. The ONLY reason Leinart is #2 is his familiarity with Knapp’s offense and if Palmer goes down Leinart can immediately run the full playbook. Leinart has actually helped Palmer learn the offense and in some key situations interpreted the offense for Palmer so to speed up his asimilation of the offense.
As far as a QB in ANY offense starting from ground zero to compare Leinart to Pryor is laughable. From every aspect of the position available IT IS LAUGHABLE. When you take apart both QB’s from a leadership, competitive, smarts, armstrength, athleticism. Just froma physical and mental intangible perspective it aint close. One QB has been given several chances in this league to succeed in the same offense for the past 8 years (college and Pro) and has failed miserably. The other hasn’t been given any chance whatsoever causing doubts from everyone except the people who count.
Palmer has referred to Pryor as a phenom a hard worker and top notch competitor he has made no such comments about Leinart. CP regularly makes predictions about Pryors ability to at some point be a great QB in this league but has said nothing of the sort about Leinart. Talks about who much of a nusance Pryor is when it comes to wanting to learn the game the right way and how he even wants to steal snaps away from him. I have never heard any of such comments about Leinart.
Pryor himself screams about hating to be 3rd string actually thinks he could start over Palmer but concedes Palmer is the better technician. Pryor is COMING whether you haters LIKE IT or NOT. He’s coming whether this team wants to accept that fact or NOT you cannot deny a talent like this kid…………..period

Having a good game plan is really what it comes down to today. The Bucs have a clear weakness due to suspensions and injury, and it’d be criminal to not absolutely feast on that. Today is going to tell me a lot about Knapp, whether he has that killer instinct to exploit weakness.

This game is a tougher test for the Raiders offense than JVille and the queefs games. However, the Raiders defense should be able to take care of the bucs OL and pressure Freeman.

If Knapp is fired after this season, then I hope they look at hiring Jason Garrett or Mark Trestman as OC.
Raiders need to shoot the gaps, play smart defensive football and put consistent pressure on Freeman.

When it works it looks exciting and like he is re-inventing the wheel. But eventually, you lose and walk away with nothing.Like going 1-4 down the stretch of the season, and losing your last 2 home games, and having your defense outscore your offense in the second half of one of those games.

There are a lot of fake fans and trolls on this site. There are an equal number of actual Raider fans that have agendas as well.
You got “the Palmer haters”, the “Reggie Haters/Al Loyalists”, the “Knapp Haters”, and the “Kelly/Seymore haters”
All of those haters and their troll friends are in a frenzy because the team is winning and their OPINIONS AND BELIEFS about our players and staff is proving to be crap.
They dont know how to react as a result. And so this place has been crappier than usual. Nothing but senseless bickering and trolling. Unreadable crap.
When we win today, things could go either way next week, either all the trolls bounce for good or this site gets even worse.

I was reading lastnights discussion of Leinart and Pryor and the propects or their future on this team. Let me say this now if anyone thinks Leinart has a better future on this team or in this league it is at best bias and at least naive. The ONLY reason Leinart is #2 is his familiarity with Knapp’s offense and if Palmer goes down Leinart can immediately run the full playbook. Leinart has actually helped Palmer learn the offense and in some key situations interpreted the offense for Palmer so to speed up his asimilation of the offense.
As far as a QB in ANY offense starting from ground zero to compare Leinart to Pryor is laughable. From every aspect of the position available IT IS LAUGHABLE. When you take apart both QB’s from a leadership, competitive, smarts, armstrength, athleticism. Just froma physical and mental intangible perspective it aint close. One QB has been given several chances in this league to succeed in the same offense for the past 8 years (college and Pro) and has failed miserably. The other hasn’t been given any chance whatsoever causing doubts from everyone except the people who count.
Palmer has referred to Pryor as a phenom a hard worker and top notch competitor he has made no such comments about Leinart. CP regularly makes predictions about Pryors ability to at some point be a great QB in this league but has said nothing of the sort about Leinart. Talks about who much of a nusance Pryor is when it comes to wanting to learn the game the right way and how he even wants to steal snaps away from him. I have never heard any of such comments about Leinart.
Pryor himself screams about hating to be 3rd string actually thinks he could start over Palmer but concedes Palmer is the better technician. Pryor is COMING whether you haters LIKE IT or NOT. He’s coming whether this team wants to accept that fact or NOT you cannot deny a talent like this kid…………..period

My only problem wit you Riff is you think just because someone played football or even coached it they know more than everyone else, and to say that “if knapp is good enough for DA and Palmer he should be good enough for us” was just an asinine statement imo. He’s good enough for us just because DA likes him? Never was a Palmer/Seymour/Kelly hater, although I get sick of Kelly’s mouth sometimes & I think Palmer is a good football player…Definitely an “Al loyalist” due to him giving me a revolutionary football organization. Not a “Reggie hater”, think he has done good & bad his rookie year as GM, which is what I EXPECTED. Just hate the “Al haters” that claim Reggie inherited this “mess”(never knew coming off 2 8-8 seasons was a mess) and that everything he has done has been pure genius. I am definitely a “Knapp hater” because he has sucked at so many places. Notice though, that when he called the power runs & sweeps last week, DMC had huge runs. I am glad he is adjusting but he still shouldn’t have been hired over Saunders.
I don’t think any of my beliefs have proven to be crap. We beat the worst team in football last week. They haven’t even had a fugging lead in a game this year. We also needed an overtime FG to beat a one-win team the week before. So yes, I don’t know how to react right now. I’m happy we have stuck it to the Chiefs in Arrowhead this millennium after getting owned by them in the 90’s….BUT I’m waiting for us to beat a competitive team. I hope we do so today.
