I didn’t think these guys could go backwards so quickly, but wow. They’ve done it. Allen looks clueless on the sidelines each time something slightly controversial happens on the field. Hiring a rookie coach with a roster going through transition is a recipe for disaster. As much as hardly anyone wants to hear it, I really wish Mark Davis could have talked Gruden into coming back to coach this team. If Allen is in fact Reggie’s man, he couldn’t have made a bigger mistake, all things considered.

The defense just does not have the talent, the offensive line personnel is lacking as is the coaching, Greg Knapp’s play calling is terrible as is evidenced by how well the offense moves when Palmer is allowed to run the no-huddle, the personnel moves seem to be made with a focus on recreating the team and tearing down what little success was built in the last two seasons.

Today, I woke up with no hope for this game. Turns out I was right. It’s really hard to even watch football at all these days, I’ve started working on projects in the garage and try to avoid any media about the Raiders on Sundays to keep my blood pressure down. But I love this team too much to give up on them, and somehow I watch with the fascination of watching an impending train wreck.

Today delivered. It was embarrassing, but more embarrassing is how nonchalant some players are (in particular, Tommy Kelly). We really need to move the players on that are just going through the motions. No intensity, no anger, just… acceptance.

Ridiculous.

Best post of the day! Reality check indeed!!

I feel bad for Palmer. First the Bengals, now this.

Bad organizations start at the top! Management hires the coaches, coaches (are supposed to) coach the players, players (are supposed to) make plays! Performance matters, and we have bad, bad performance! No heart, no focus, no desire, just pick-up the paycheck and show up for practice! What a disaster!

That resounding thud you heard last night was the utter failure of Jason Campbell.

The highest paid backup QB in the NFL was brought in specifically to come in and be a capable QB for the Chicago Bears. There is no other conclusion to be drawn except that he failed miserably.

The turd Campbell left on the field may take several years to clean up.

His constant checkdowns spelled utter disaster in what can only be described as a game which will serve to define his weak legacy in the NFL.

After rushing to Chicago as quickly as possible so that he could carry a clipboard for Jay Cutler, we knew one day Campbell would have his opportunity to prove he was worth the ridiculous contract he signed with the Bears.

With Cutler injured in the 1st half, JC was called upon to do what he was brought to Chicago to do in the first place....win the ball game.

To avoid costly interceptions, JC opted to take the safe route which proved even more costly. Constant checkdowns and short, safe passes left the Bears short of the first down on many occasions. When he did dare throw any medium range passes, they were horribly overthrown, leaving a disgusted and frustrated Bears fan base wondering why the team would throw away such an exorbitant fortune on an obviously untalented and unprofessional backup.

On one skipped pass that came up short in a critical situation to Devin Hester, it left the entire football universe wondering if JC was indeed mentally unstable. It quite possibly was the worst pass ever thrown in a professional football game...or pee wee for that matter.

The entire world is now vomiting in the aftermath of the horrific, inexcusable display of ineptitude by Campbell and shock and disgust at the amount of money they wasted to bring him to Chicago.

3 pt's in a key matchup on national Tv? Inexcusable and unforgivable.

Racial insanity is alive and well in this here US of A.

The Raiders continue to lose games under Palmer, (BTW11-24 the last 3 seasons), they're good enough to beat JVille, KC, and Pitt, but obviously find the way to lose against the better teams in the league.

Neither one of the team leaders, from BigMac Junior, Carcass, Big Rich has stepped out to take charge and make the team compete at the expected level. All we get from the post conferences is the same robotic bs we've have gotten accustomed to for what seems forever now. Of course is ridiculous to blame 55 points on Carcass, but he is not the upgrade nor the solution to make this team a winner, the trade from the very get go was wrong and made out of desperation.

LoNeal said in the Raiders post game the team was not only outplayed and out-coached, but was also outclassed. Who does LoNeal work for? A lot has been said about the new changes in the team, but getting outclassed by the Ravens? LoNeal also said that the team needs to bring in winners, because winning is contagious in some mysterious way, losing is also contagious. So, when LoNeal is talking about bringing winners, where does the team begin? Who goes and stays?

What is the point of having TP on the roster if he is gonna be inactive every week? If Reggie & DA think so little of this guy then cut him loose. Why not give Taiwan a ton of carries yesterday. So what if he fumbles. It wouldn't have changed the game. Reggie and DA wanna blame Al for being hamstrung, but that doesn't ex[lain the pure lack of effort on Defense which is supposed to be DA's thing. I think DA has completely lost the team and what little respect they had for him in the beginning is gone. Time to clean house again, but this time get rid of the overpaid, underachieving, overrated players like McClain, Kelly, Seymour, Briesel, Carlisle & Curry. Time to cut ties with Dmac and get somebody who can play 16 games.
