Uh oh. 1st and goal. How we gonna f it up this time.

Bring Myers in to drop another one. Or better yet let him tip to another guy.

When they beat the Jets in the playoffs in the rain (Charlie Garner had that big-time run – with help of a Tim Brown hold). Most complete game I’ve seen live at the Coliseum.

    Who was the coach?

  • http://raiders.com Albert Bigelow Paine

    Meyers with the makeup catch!

  • jackasspuria

    Raider Riff

    Word.

Blaming a coach for a player’s inability to get the most rudimentary aspect of their job done is asinine.

Now, I must return to celebrating Myers (finally) TD catch.

  • The Mack

Marcel reece is doin his thing, not bad for an al guy… but whenever you run 1 player this much hes bound to get hurt.

So NOW they decide to use Reece.

    ************************

WTF is wrong with you people????

He might have more yards than the last two years in about 2 weeks?

    ==========

Because he should have spelled DMC instead of “my guy” goodson.

  • ChrisinNC

Please quit defending Krapp. He’s a complete joke. Seriously.

  • MiamiRaider78

Knapp should be fired fot not using Reece properly…10 gams in? What an ashole

    On top of everything else.

    What a genius staff.

    ————————————————————————————————————–

Yep. And Taiwan won’t get more than 3 touches until after ALL our RBs are on IR.

  • GForce21

Insane that Palmer found someone on that play. Looked covered all the way.

  • RAIDERMAN99

I know it went for a TD, but CP should have thrown that away.

I can be unhappy even when we score.

  • Just Fire Baby

Reece had 850 yards THE LAST TWO YEARS.

He has over 600 this season!!!!

  • Marks hair

Best hands on the team….. riiiiiiight

  • Raider Riff

That was the 13th dropped pass that should have resulted in a TD this year.

    13.

    THIRTEEN!

But go ahead, keep blaming Knapp and Palmer and whomever else EXCEPT for the guys dropping the passes and not holding their blocks.

And lets forget that Coye Francis should have ran that kickoff back for a TD but tripped on a hashline like a true idiot.

This team is ridiculous. The only people more ridiculous than our O-Line and the WR core are the idiots on this blog who defend them at the expense of our coaching staff. A coaching staff may I remind you who ISNT ON THE FIELD.

    ———-

And lets not forget, the score should be 21-14 now. In fact, the Saints 2nd TD never happens if DMoore doesnt run the wrong route on the play before the INT run back.

Im not asking for difficult stuff. Just proper route running and catching the catchable balls and not tripping over a hash mark. We do those 3 simple things and the score is 21-7 Raiders in the lead right now.

Reece is going to need an IV.

  • Priesttj12

They keep saying there aint enough talent to win with on this team. I see otherwise if the talent is USED right. The record would be a lot different.

IMO Rolando is playing well the last 2 weeks, I wonder if that trial thing was affecting his play.

  • Just Fire Baby

Rolando has been our best defensive player this half, not even debatable.

Hmm, its funny how some ignorant fans say coaching doesnt matter but without joe vitt the saints were 0-4, but since his return they have a winning record… Coincidence? I think not. Coaching matters, real athletes know this… couch potatoes dont.

Taiwan needs to EARN his carries, not expect them because of his draft position.

He has done NOTHING every team he gets the ball.

    Kickoffs, screens, runs, reverses.

I suppose Meyers wasnt being USED right when he caused that INT?

Moor consistently running the wrong routes is because he isnt being USED right?

Francis tripping on what should have been a kickoff runback for 6 is because he isnt being USED right?

    Sure thing coach.

  • jackasspuria

I remember Youtubing Marcel Reece once Al Davis plucked him from the rookie free agent draft pool.

At 6-foot-3, 240-pounds with blazing speed, I was wondering where they would put Reece.

When he went to FB, I was skeptical.

The concern quickly disappeared once Reece became an active member of the Raiders roster.

  • ChrisinNC

Krapp’s exhausted his creativity. Featuring Reece was all his poor little brain could handle.

  • RaiderDebo

Damn, Talib already making his mark for the Pats. So pissed he went to New England.

  • jackasspuria

The middle of the Raiders’ zone defense… man.

Intelligent player are often required to run the zone scheme. But with the middle so open at times, what does that say about the smarts of the defensive players?

Tarver calls the plays, but 11 on the field have to execute.

  • DJ Johnny

I just figured well give up a td and be down 21-7.

The 3rd is when the real fun begins.

  • JT

And the raider D gives it back

  • morilla

    Seriously, watch our Dline.

  • Priesttj12

Wheeler is clueless in zone coverage, he plays well when he’s assigned to cover a man. Drop him inn a zone and has no instincts at all.

  • jackasspuria

I am wondering what Taiwan Jones did to earn the scorn of this coaching staff.

While I agree playing time and trust is earned, I’m wary of this Jerry Porter-esque treatment Jones is getting from Allen and Knapp.

Porter landed in Art Shell’s doghouse for not listening to Fred B’s coaching.

    What did Jones do?
