Crappy D couldn’t close and finish the Broncos at home last year and Tebow and McGahee beat them in the 2nd half last year.

All these writers will just look at the record they won’t check who the wins came against, how we fared against top teams, how many good teams did we beat and other stuff, how our D fared against teams like we have faced last 3 games all that stuff, but ofcourse the want to sell their newspapers so they will just right anything over-reactive fans want to read

Exactly. 2 of the 3 wins came against worse teams than the Raiders and they got lucky versus the Jags.

Beating Pitt was luck as well, because Pitt turned the ball over.

Fact is…Hue’s Raiders were still one game away from playoffs despite Hue losing his legendary owner/defacto GM, starting QB and star RB for mid season and despite being strapped with a crappy azz DC.

Hue did an amazing job last year despite the circumstances and all the adversity he faced. He deserved a 2nd season with a REAL DC and a new GM.

If McK wants to truly rebuild, then he needs to stop dancing around the issue and just trade DMC to Jets or Cowboys for a 2nd and a 4th in this years draft and get a 2nd in next years draft and get his valuable “picks”.

The way to get the picks he wants, is to ask for high picks and work you way down from there. McK should say to Jets and Dallas, give us a 1st this year and a 3rd for DMC and then they will refuse and counter and if McK can get a 2nd and 4th in this years draft and a 2nd in next years draft for DMC, then that would be a win IMO.

Jets and Cowboys are desperate for playmakers on offense. Jones is a very reactionary GM and likes playing poker and making a splash.

He would give up a 2nd and 4th for DMC. He loves DMC with the Arkansas ties and DMC is still dynamic gamebreaker/player in this league when healthy.
