Wholesale changes needed to be made on defense last year, but the with the salary cap being what it was and lack of draft picks, the agony had to be prolonged another year.

This offseason there will be no excuses. Need a significant influx of talent on defense.

I could never figure, how a guy who has been a player in the league, would not have thought to get coaches who were former players like Ray Horton, or Dennis Thurman in as hires – or at least look to Ted Cottrell and other more experienced people. I think the process was very fast, McKenzie was inexperienced, and went with a lot of people who had to learn on the fly, and a horrific O.C.

Sprnkle in a bad year by McFadden, injuries to Ford, and other players, no draft picks and no key FAs. And voila! Disaster.

You think if Davis gets too impatient, fires Allen, was Allen’s mistake sticking with Knapp for so long…and his inexperience as head coach and background wasnt enough for him to take over playcalling (the first instinct of any head coach, when the OC struggles for 8 games)

I’m no Carson Palmer hater. I was actually happy when the trade was made. However it’s clear, he’s not a difference maker and in fact he’s a loser. Not personally, but as a player. The guy makes far to many mistakes in crunch time. The raiders would be wise to look at TP the remainder of the season and if he shows promise trade CP for a pick or 2. If TP looks like he can’t play, draft a QB or sign a quality FA

I cant ever remember a trade of that significance, then another trade being done after that. I dont think he’d get any takers…when they can wait for the Raiders to cut him.

Raiders are stuck. The question is would they move McFadden, trade down to stock pile picks to about 9 and infuse the team with talent.

This team is unwatchable, & Carson sinks to an all time low. Carson went out with hardly a wimper & slinks off into utter unimportance.

The time draws close for tp6 ; & Allen has no control of this team.

Highest yardage total since Gannon. Is it his fault McFadden didnt fit on the ZBS?

A warrior who drove a comeback vs. Steelers (much better team than Bengals), a near comeback v. Falcons and Tampa Bay.

Any other better QB’s out there, that Raiders could draft or trade for, please identify them.

Activate everybody from the practice squad and cut the check cashers. Hate to say it, now that the season is OVER, the only thing I would tune in for is to see what TP6 has to offer.
