Allen says using QB Pryor has been ‘discussed’
By Steve Corkran
Monday, November 26th, 2012 at 3:17 pm in Oakland Raiders.
In light of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick taking the NFL by storm the past week, it seems reasonable that the Raiders might consider taking a look at second-year quarterback Terrelle Pryor at some point.
Unquestioned starter Carson Palmer is way down the list of things Raiders coach Dennis Allen has to worry about, even though people are quick to blame Palmer for the team’s 3-8 record.
Yet, Allen said Monday that he and his coaches have “discussed” the possibility of taking a look at Pryor in some capacity. It’s unclear whether that might be at quarterback or in some kind of special package that takes advantage of Pryor’s impressive combination of size, speed and elusiveness.
“He’s working to get better and he’s working to improve,” Allen said of Pryor. “I’ve seen improvement in Terrelle. He’s gotten better as a quarterback. He’s continued to work. I don’t think any of us feel like he’s the finished product, including himself, but he has worked to improve.”
Pryor wasn’t available for comment Monday.
Pryor hasn’t been active for any of Oakland’s first 11 games. He has yet to attempt a pass in a regular-season game since he joined the Raiders before the 2011 season.
He showed glimpses of what he can do at quarterback during some of the Raiders exhibition games, both with his feet and his strong arm.
Palmer turns 33 on Dec. 27, and he is under contract through 2016. He has passed for 3,181 yards and is within reach of Rich Gannon’s single-season record (4,689 in 2002).
Before long, though, the Raiders need to decide whether Pryor is worthy of being Palmer’s successor or if there’s some way to use him other than as the full-time quarterback.
– Allen said he is hopeful of running backs Darren McFadden (ankle) and Mike Goodson (ankle) and defensive tackle Richard Seymour (hamstring) returning to practice this week. All three players missed the past three games.
– Allen and his coaches will continue to look at ways to get things turned around in the face of four straight losses.
That process will continue in earnest Tuesday in advance of the first practice for the upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns.
“We got to look at any options,” Allen said. “Again, we’re all accountable to getting this thing corrected and getting it done right. Players and coaches, we’ve all got to be held accountable. We’ve got a standard that we uphold ourselves to and we haven’t lived up to that standard yet.”
Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly said he is having a hard time comprehending how the Raiders went from 8-8 and one win shy of the AFC West title last season to a team that is floundering.
“It’s been mind-blowing,” Kelly said. “I would have never, in my wildest dreams, thought we would be 3-8 right now.”
When asked the reason why, Kelly didn’t mince words.
“A whole multitude of things,” Kelly said. “Defense, offense, special teams, the whole team, as a whole, has not gotten the job done. We just got to play a little better over the last five weeks.”
– The Raiders pass defense remains a huge issue, with Bengals second-year quarterback Andy Dalton the latest to have his way against the Raiders.
Dalton completed 16 of 30 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns, without any interceptions.
Opposing quarterbacks combined for 23 touchdowns and a 101.9 passer rating in 11 games against the Raiders this season. The Raiders are last in the league in both categories, and they are near the bottom in average yards allowed per game and completion percentage.
– Rookie linebacker Kaelin Burnett played four snaps on special teams Sunday, one day after he was signed to the 53-man roster from the Raiders practice squad.
Burnett is the 11th Raiders player to make his NFL debut this season: offensive linemen Tony Bergstrom and Alex Parsons, defensive linemen tackle Christo Bilukidi and Jack Crawford, linebackers Miles Burris and Carl Ihenacho, wide receivers Juron Criner and Rod Streater, running back Jeremy Stewart and cornerback Brandian Ross are the others.

There is no reason that Pryor doesnt get a look.
No logical reason.
Bergstrom, Pryor, Bilukidi & Crawford have to be played, have to.
Giordano, Seymour, Palmer do not need to see the field.

Why not? Play Pryor already. I just hate to see him get rattled by the inferior talent around him on the line and in the receiving core, but maybe he can make something happen.

O-line & Pass rush.
Until we have these 2, we wont improve.
Doesnt matter the scheme, but we have to get a solid O-Line & Pass rush to compete in this NFL.
November 26th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
Reggie and DA should get one more year, just one, and if we lose more then our first 3 to start next season, DA gets his azz canned pronto.

Gregg Knapp: Do you want to lose by 35 instead of 20?
Dennis Allen: Not really…..moving on then. So, which shirt best hides my man titt!es?
Gregg knapp: Go with the black one.

Boy how was that man D , couldn’t force 1 punt in one of the most important games in 10 years week 17, pathetic, or how about 34 – 0 miami lead before half time , or 30 – 0 something GB lead in week 15 , boy that man D did show up down the stretch when we really needed them to play really well

DA can stay, but he does not get to hire his own staff.

Look if you guys think that team was that good , they would have won the games when it counted, Detroit exposed the D in week 13, Miami did the same in week 14, GB did the same , KC (playing for their coach) would have won if not for Seymours fingers getting in the way of KC kickers GW fg try, we would have beaten SD, we’re 1 play away from going 0-5 down the stretch, oh lets talk about Chicago , which came within 1 perfect strike away from taking us down with their backup QB, who’s not even in the NFL

Defense has sunk to uncharted depth.
Offense is putting up less points each week.
The play is bad my friends. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times. The sea was angry that day. Mightily angry to say the least. We have a situation where draft picks and FAs’ won’t be enough. The wrath of an angry storm is worse than that of a woman scorned. DA has to be beside hisself in bewilderment and shock. His head has to be spinning like a fierce and out of control tornado. And do not forget about Reggie. The dude has to be on fire. Raging out of control fire. The sun darkens and noise from beyond the gates of hell are shrieking and begging for Raider destruction. Only a good man, say Gruden if you please, or Hue, maybe Cable, ShawII, ANYBODY, can bring this franchise out of the bottom circles of hell and beyond to which it has sunk. If he won’t, then we are forever doomed to be lost at sea drifting aimlessly. A frozen time warp that is not frozen. Drifting aimlessly for all eternity and beyond. It is the utmost hopeless feeling of despair you would not even wish upon your worst enemy. A collapse is imminent. A good man is needed indeed. The fate lies beyond our utmost comprehensive ability. Repent and do the right thing. Mark and Amy, Repent NOW. Get on your knees and submerse yourself in prayer and pray for guidance. Do the right thing. Deliver this team from the claws of hell and into the Light.

DAV – I never liked losing Satele. Big mistake. As for Kam, I honestly didn’t think he’d make that much of a difference with only a handful of sacks but here we are with no ability to rush the passer. Shonasty has been a huge disappointment. I’m going to have to put some of this on the coaching. Losing Wauffle hurt this team.

That was Davis. Not only were the coaching staffs supposed to game plan, motivate and develop guys all at the same time during the season, but then Davis would hand them a “project” and expect the coaching staff to take time out and develop that guy separately as well. Doesn’t work in real life.

I just wished the team came out and played with the fire they displayed at that Steeler home game.
November 26th, 2012 at 3:55 pm

DA needs to show some balls and recover the respect of the players he has lost, like the whole team. Remove the OC is a place to start.

They came out and played for Palmer in the 3rd quarter yesterday, but they quit on DA a long time ago.

what’s the def of losing the team? like are the ultra talented, or were the beating good teams last year ? that they are failing to do? If DA lost this team , then what does going 1-4 down the stretch when they really had to win says about HUE?

All the Raiders needed to do was:
Obtain a bona-fide DC
Let Hue build the O around Palmer
Resign Bush
And a tweak or two, here and there.
It was that simple. But to Reggie and DAs’ credit, they are doing what they set out to do. Take a good team that was ready to go to the next level of play, and run them into the ditch.

A real coach would use TP in some situational play. Makes TP better, gives the opponent something more to game plan for, and could serve to increase TPs trade value if needed.

Teams “quitting” is vastly overrated. At best a few players mail it in but the other 50 or 48 are still all heart. There is no quit or roll over in them. They know they have to put good plays on tape especially on a team that sucks. If you cant stand out a little on a pisspoor team you don’t belong in the NFL

Again, today’s Monday, so we’re really not in that situation yet where we’re talking about the personnel changes that we might make going forward, getting ready for Cleveland. Again, we’ve got a job to do and our job is to win football games and we’ve got to find out ways to get it done.”
On what he’s seen from Pryor in practice: “I think he’s working to get better and he’s working to improve. I’ve seen improvement in Terrelle. He’s gotten better as a quarterback. He’s continued to work. I don’t think any of us feel like he’s the finished product, including himself, but he has worked to improve.”

How hard is it to be competitive against the teams we played against last year? This happened when we were supporting 7-4 recoring, went to Miami, got crushed by them 34-14, the game was already over after Miami went 34-0 into 4th quarter, next week went to GB, we’re sitting at 7-5 playoffs in our sights, went down 34-0 in 3rd quarter, now we at 7-6 coming home need a win , Lost to Detroit, now at 7-7 went to KC, which had nothing to play and they would have won if not for blocked gw kick , then 8-7 coming home in front of cheering crowds , win to freakin make the playoffs, get embarrased by Norv turned led team

bad examples
do you did you just start watching football?
walsh and jimmy Johnson had rough starts but they also had people in place they wer sold on as the future in the qb spot aikman and motnana
Please dont tell me carcas palmer is in this class.
belichic sucked in Cleavland and was simply a better prepared candidate by the time he landed in new england and again he ended up with tom brady
brady montana aikman hall of fame multiple trophy winners. we can also add namse like brushci, rice, lott, craig, haley and so on.
palmer….. hardly

I hope the Browns, the f’ing ‘Factory of Sadness’ kicks the cr@p outta them so there can be no doubt, not one iota of doubt that this is THE WORST TEAM IN THE NFL.
Here is the 4 step plan:
1. Tank it right now. Don’t win another game.

Ofcourse Whiners should have fired B Walsh after 1-15 year, Cowboys should have done the same after JJ went 1-15 oh yeah how about Pats , weren’t they better team before Bill Belichic who never succeeded before in Cleveland and comes to NE and have worse record than year before, I’m pretty sure those guys who went 1-15 in first year then went on to build dynasties had nothing to do with the talent they were surrounded by in first year right?
=========
bad examples
do you did you just start watching football?
walsh and jimmy Johnson had rough starts but they also had people in place they wer sold on as the future in the qb spot aikman and motnana
Please dont tell me carcas palmer is in this class.
belichic sucked in Cleavland and was simply a better prepared candidate by the time he landed in new england and again he ended up with tom brady
brady montana aikman hall of fame multiple trophy winners. we can also add namse like brushci, rice, lott, craig, haley and so on.
palmer….. hardly
besides i dont remember any of those coaches posting the all time worst defense along the way or being blown out in as many games.
In other words they all had at least a couple of plyers to build around and presented some sort of evidence they belonged.
allen simply looks over matched at this point
—–
what sort of evidence did they supported at 1-15? LMAO are you f9kkin serious ? they supported some kinda evidence that they belonged in 1-15 year? Clevland @ Oakland = DA’s Legacy Game
5 blowouts in a row, or will he motivate this team to even show up?
November 26th, 2012 at 4:31 pm
There is clever media trickery at work here
Notice how cork refuses to acknowledge that yardage totals dont matter or validate the trade.
Then he says that “palmer is way down the list of allens worries” yet some one in the building obviously believes this isnt true. Or they never would have ordered allen to play him.
Then he suggest that pryor could be used other than qb, still selling the switch positions / wild cat garbage.

It seems so brilliant for a new GM, who has been around a completely different philosophy for the past 15 years (which won a super bowl two years ago) to come into a mediocre, at best, team and continue to do exactly what has not worked for the last 10 years. (.500 records are fools gold-look at who we beat)
No reason to implement his philosophy–that can happen at the snap of the fingers later, when we magically have a roster full of guys that understand it without practicing it! Keep the one that ALMOST worked for some of the players! “Maybe winning 8 games, and missing the playoffs, will appease the natives! Let’s do that!”
If it doesn’t work, that is OK, the owner can just fire the brand new GM before giving him a chance, and randomly pick another-something will stick eventually!
Geez Louise.

The bungles and their fans are more than happy Carcux quit on them. He is lucky to be here, though, where he has adoring fans like Corky and his lame crew, you know who you are.
It is sad when fans criticize Palmer, BigMac and Junior the boot-lickers drop HOF names as if that would save them from the fans’ wrath.
The pages have not closed on Junior and BigMac yet, but they sure have on Carcux, a magnificent golden arm that just keeps losing. But his boot-lickers will always stand behind Carcux no matter how badly he sucks rocks, and this loser is signed until 2016, what a damn shame and tragedy.

Whether you approve or not, DA is not getting fired. Reggie will bring in more guys to his liking and DA will be the guy to coach them. Knapp will also get another year because the system is already in place.
They will just get better linemen to execute the ZBS and if McFadden can’t get it by next year, the new competition brought in to camp will get it done.
Tarver is as good as gone. This gig is way too much for him. He will go back to Stanford and help the LBs.

most horrible four game stretch in the history of the franchise (think about that one after witnessing Shell II, JaWorthless, Rick Mirer and the etcs) and Coach Deer-in-the-headlights wonders if trying something different might be plausible.
wouldn’t be worse if Raiders chose to use Lechler or SeaBass on the first down of each series.
Nope, it ain’t the QB’s fault in any entirety but why not let the kid join the show.
If you’re willing to allow Rollover McClain 40-50 snaps/game then why not toss Pryor into the cauldron and see what happens.

none of that matters, and none of that will affect how pryor is graded by big mack and davis
They are well aware fo the issues and will grade pryor independently of them
all pryor needs to do is show he is capable and can get better
excuses for palmer have fallen on deaf ears with the ownership

Mark said he talks to Reggie everyday and DA.

i strongly disagree with a lot of what mistic says but why wouldn’t you evaluate Pryor along with the other young players on the squad? seasons been over and if DA’s doing what he thinks is best to salvage his job he has no integrity, the guy needs to do what’s best for the organization
—
Ofcourse they will give him certain plays , but they ain’t going to just feed him to wolves with this support , that’s going to hinder his progress , c’mon Mistic think with your head for once, you want the team to ruin his career before it even began?

Whether you approve or not, DA is not getting fired. Reggie will bring in more guys to his liking and DA will be the guy to coach them. Knapp will also get another year because the system is already in place.
They will just get better linemen to execute the ZBS and if McFadden can’t get it by next year, the new competition brought in to camp will get it done.
Tarver is as good as gone. This gig is way too much for him. He will go back to Stanford and help the LBs.

If you go back to the posts I made on Weds and Thursday of last week I said that Atkins, Peko and Dunlap would own our Oline. That’s what happened yesterday. Barnes did fairly well against Dunlap but the interior of our Oline got beaten like a gong. Our WR’s did not show up.
And aside from Hanson and Bartell, no one on defense showed up either. When that happens, you lose big.

none of that matters, and none of that will affect how pryor is graded by big mack and davis
They are well aware fo the issues and will grade pryor independently of them
all pryor needs to do is show he is capable and can get better
excuses for palmer have fallen on deaf ears with the ownership
i am glad
mark davis just scored major points with this and his mid season al davis like presser

Week 13 – Miami 34 – 0 end of 3rd
week 14 – Green Bay 34 – 0 middle of 3rd
all that in middle of battle for playoffs
sorry not a Hue hater, this team lacked talent to beat good teams last year, didn’t change anything with first pick in 3rd rd and 5 Million to spend in FA

If Pryor gets a shot at QB in these last 5 games he needs to play the entire game in order to get a feel for it and play his way through errors. Wildcat plays here and there would be useless for him and the staff for evaluation purposes.
November 26th, 2012 at 5:55 pm
I hope he excels, Priest. You should know that. I know he was a pain in the azz for opposing defenses to get a sack on in the preseason, but that is all we have seen.

I hope the best for the kid, but I woudn’t wish that circumstance on him at this point.

Not on the “fire Reggie” bandwagon yet, but how is Scott Pioli doing in Kansas City with all those years of experiencing SuperBowl Bliss?

I really don’t care if heads fall or not , last year i wanted Hue back with better DC but i realized the talent wasn’t there and we beat up on average teams, but could care less which ever way the organization decides to go. I feel the same this year, the talent level isn’t there , i know it looks like the players have given up on coach because of blowouts, but i don’t think that’s the case, one has to look at our results against good teams from the last 9 years, we always get crushed, people want to make too much of the D side and think its because of coaching, but no our team even with breshnahan couldn’t force 1 SD punt with season on line , it’s all talent, if the Raiders want to bring in different coaches, sure i don’t care, i’m not attached to the current coaching staff, but i feel like DA should get a chance with a good offseason, where we can sign some impact players instead of once has beens on cheap contracts and get a chance to draft a player in first round instead of 3rd round, that’s my two cents

Does Davis still feel the Raiders can turn things around this year?
“Take it game by game,’ he said, “but, uh, I don’t know. I know they’re going to fight.”
Not exactly a vote of confidence from Davis — and you’ve got to love him for expressing real, unfiltered, unedited thoughts. He does not know if the Raiders can turn it around. He has serious doubts. He should because the Raiders cannot turn it around this season.
What were his goals heading into the season?
“I think finding a direction for the franchise,” he said, “and moving forward and seeing progress week to week, but you know that’s still possible.”
Now Davis was arrowing in on Allen. The phrase “finding a direction,” surely implies Allen has not found a direction. Well, he’s found “down” but that’s not an acceptable direction.
Is the challenge of making the Raiders good more daunting than Davis expected?
“No, I wouldn’t say that,” he said. “I wouldn’t say that. I think, again, it’s just the results of the game. You win or lose. We haven’t been winning and it hasn’t been close the last three weeks.”
More implied criticism — actually, not so implied, kind of blunt.
Is the subpar roster, the roster lacking depth, the result of salary cap problems?
“As I said, coming in, I didn’t know that we had a Super Bowl team,” he said. “But you can’t blame it on the salary cap. You have players and you coach them and you play, you’ve got to be Raiders.”
Again, criticism of the coach — “you coach them.”
And now came the big one. Someone mentioned the players say they won’t give up.
“Absolutely. Absolutely,” Davis said. “I’m just saying right now I’m a little disappointed with the regression, but like I say, they’ll fight.”
Incoming rockets. Direct hit. The word “regression” was an exploding bomb. It said the owner thinks the team has regressed. It has. And the coach has presided over the regression.
How frustrated is Davis?
“I couldn’t put it on a one to 10,” he said. “I’m not happy. I’ll put it that way. But why should I be? Why should we be? Why should anyone in this room be? But they’ll fight and fix it.”
Then he pulled his foot off the throttle, just a little. Do Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie get a pass this year?
“Like I say, I’m patient. I’m patient,” he said patiently. “But I want to see progress. I don’t want to see regression. Nobody does. And that’s why I’m unhappy today. But as far as a pass, I wouldn’t call it a pass. They’ve got contracts, they’re going to be here.”
Call that an important concession. No one can blame Allen or McKenzie for the total disarray of the Raiders. Blame that on Al Davis. It’s too early to blame Allen and McKenzie, but Mark Davis is reminding them of high standards — the correct standards — reminding them someone holds them accountable.
Here is a final note on Allen, a man we’re still getting to know. It’s not his fault he’s so boring after a loss. Listening to him, you want to die. His answer for every problem is that his team works hard. He made this point about 10 times, give or take. Here are a few representative examples:
“The only way I know how to fix things is to go back to work and keep grinding.
“The only thing I know how to do is go back to work.”
I could go on like Allen, but you get the point — the Raiders are a great bunch of guys and they work hard enough to win. An old football coach once said to his players, who complained they worked hard but didn’t get results, “Tell that to someone who gives a (darn).”
No one cares that the Raiders work hard. Every team works hard. The Raiders need to work well, and that’s on Allen, and Mark Davis is watching.

DA and Reggie did a helluva job fixing the pass defense. I can’t believe how useful DA’s background as a defensive coordinator and DBs coach has been. You really can’t blame any of this on them. This team was 16-16 over the last two years. What did you expect? It’s going to take at least 57 years for them to right this ship after inheriting a .500 club. Mark should sign them both to contract extensions right now. These guys finally have us on the right track. The W-L record may not reflect it but the Raiders are now a REAL pro sports organization.
This is basically what Reggie & DA supporters in the fan base and in the media sound like … Completely delusional.

Allen and his coaches will continue to look at ways to get things turned around in the face of four straight losses.

OMG are you guys watching this Eagle/Panthers game. They just showed a stat about the Eagle defense since Todd Bowles took over 5 weeks ago.
79% completions allowed
12 TDs 0 ints
148 opposing QB rating
Makes Tarver look like Buddy Ryan.
Then Newton hits LaFell for a long wide open TD after the stat was shown.
If we played the Eagles the score would 55-52. Or 0-0 after OT.

Raiders all day raises a very good point above. Al was always known as a players owner, he left the ship to his son who by all accounts is even more so a players owner.
The failure this season will not fall upon the players, it will fall upon the coaches period.
Guys like Pryor and Jones will get some run just because the DA and Reggie know that Mark wants to see for himself.

Lienart is more of a mop up QB that probably couldn’t get it done if the game was on the line. Pryor has many more options to win a game than Matt. Makes total sense. Only drawback is any QB in knapps system is doomed to fail.

Seymour he is more accurate than Cam or Kappy. This he’s not accurate bullcrap is a flat out lie. I wacthed all 3 of those kids and Pryor was easily as accurate as Kappy he didn’t anticipate as well as Cam but he was just as accurate.
They all compare favorably to one another. The only issue is the Raiders have never given this kid any snaps so he may be more rusty than those two. But he is definitely as accurate as Kappy………….period

Darren Mcfadden and Reece are boys too I see them always on the sidelines talking after 3 n outs and horrible zb runs. Before the injury. Why do you think MARK told reggie and the coaches to talk to DMAC and find out what he liked to run.

People forget Pryor was a heisman candidate as a junior and if you compare passing stats his are very similar to Kappy’s going from freshman to junior year. Just that Kappy played against much lessor opponents.
Pryor has played in 3 BCS bowl games winning 2 MVP’s and carried that program. Big Games are nothing new to TP all this kid needs is reps like any other young QB to show what he can do. I gaurantee you he’s better than Locker and Ponder especially Gabbert. Yet all 3 of them are starting in this league.
The only young QB;’s head and shoulders over Pryor are guys like Luck and RG3 maybe even Russell Wilson. But Pryor is definitely in that next teir. He will struggle at times no question until he figures it out. Then you better LOOK OUT!
November 26th, 2012 at 6:35 pm
I am thinking of Andrew Walter right now. The guy rewrote the recod books at Arizona St. and then was promptly shell-shocked in the NFL by the Raiders porous o-line and never made anything of himself.

November 26th, 2012 at 6:39 pm
I watched all 3 of them including Pryor at OU and kappy at Nev. and trust me Kappy was NOT more accurate than Pryor in college. I watched Keapernicks soph junior and senior years. He just played in system geared to his ability. And he started all 4 years. Harbaugh has done wonders with Kappy since he’s been there. That is all Pryor needs is reps and coaching like any other young QB.
November 26th, 2012 at 6:39 pm
Pryor looked accurate in the preseason
I know you will point to his first preseason but if you look at the total body of work he actually ran circles around the other raider qbs. I’ll post the stats tomoro

bad examples
do you did you just start watching football?
walsh and jimmy Johnson had rough starts but they also had people in place they wer sold on as the future in the qb spot aikman and motnana

Baloney. Both Aikman and Montana were drafted after their coaches took over. Jimmy Johnson’s first QB was Steve Walsh, whom he coached at the U.
Both Walsh and Johnson basically built those teams themselves, and it didn’t happen overnight (much less during the first eleven games of their respective tenures).

I can’t understand that, all he ahd to do is wait until the team got better. He also went to NE and they cut him citing he didn’t prepare well. That’s just flatout quitting on yourself.
If you watch Cam he still has issues with his technigue which could take until his 3rd year. Neither Cam or Kappy or Pryor are pure passers. They are great leaders competitors and generals who know how to win games. Cam is struggling some and so will Kappy whe they get a book on him. Pryor will go thru those same struggles but he will win games for you while he is going thru it.

Do see anybody else throwing interceptions and constantly getting hammered cause the teams in the wrong formation vs. the defense?
I do.

“Unquestioned starter Carson Palmer is way down the list of things Raiders coach Dennis Allen has to worry about, even though people are quick to blame Palmer for the team’s 3-8 record.”

Hopefully when he’s healthy which should be sometime next year.

hate to be the one to break it to all you reggie and DA haters in here but, it doesn’t matter anymore whether or not the players have quit on the coaches. this roster sucked balls in the first place, and that’s only partially reggie’s fault.
would you all really rather have kept Hue and STILL NOT MADE THE PLAYOFFS YET AGAIN?

What Reggie has done must be looked at as though it gives us a chance to rebuild positively from the ground up. I thank Mark Davis for his commitment to soon bringing us a winner very soon. At the start of this process I was not sure of what the heck Regg was doing. But now I can say that those that want to play as a RAIDER needs to step up and show up. We do need someone fresh under center that has some legs that will make a defense stop and think. While Carson is a good qb , he is not the one that is capable of being a Plunkett. “Age in consideration.” ! Reggie / Dennis give the kid a shot for two games at least and you will see what he really has. “NOTHING BEATS A FALURE BUT A TRY”!

It wouldn’t hurt to use pryor,Let him show what he has, maybe we will win a few games. I still feel you made a big mistake getting rid of Michael Bush. and I also believe you should of keep our coach, We need new plays not the same ones the other teams can expect cause we play them over and over.
