Raiders-Browns blacked out

By Steve Corkran
Thursday, November 29th, 2012 at 12:50 pm in Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders-Browns game is blacked out, so it will not be televised locally, a team official said.
The Raiders needed to sell at least 85 percent of the tickets for the game to be considered a sellout and, thereby, televised locally.
This snaps a string of 13 straight regular-season home games televised locally, dating back to the start of the 2011 season.
Given the Raiders record, it’s difficult to envision them selling out against the Chiefs on Dec. 16, either. The Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning has a decent chance of selling out.

Dennis Allen’s job isnt in jeopardy to need saving.
    ——–

I have a problem with that. A coach who can get blown out as much as he has and not have his job in jeopardy is not right.

  • RaidersAllday_LtsGeTit

Anytime the OWNER is not happy and has a impromtu presser.. its not good.

Your job is always in jeporday. NFL=NOT FOR LONG. NEXT year will be his last real shot. Better thing on how you want this team to be ran.. and what kind of offense u want to be.

Reggie doesnt have to tell us the DA’s job is safe, because it is.

You can read between the lines and see that.

The Team that moves to LA has to give AEG $500million or 30% percent of the team. Mark Davis can’t afford either right now. Plus since AEG runs the Oakland Coliseum they are not allowed to talk with the Raiders until after the 2013 season is over about moving to LA. The Raiders can talk with another coperation with another site in LA. But Oakland has a no-poaching clause with AEG.If Farmers Field is the site of NFL in LA, it’s unlikely the Raiders can move to LA. Now if the LA NFl site is at the City of Industy, or next to the Dodger Stadium, thats a different story.

Te’o has really improved his pass coverage in 2012 and helps his stock as a three-down linebacker. He hasn’t had a bad game all year. The senior has totaled 92 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, four passes broken up and six interceptions this season

    actually now has 7 ints.

    =========

That last INT. against USC really got me. He was back peddaling and settling into his outside zone, looked over his shoulder to locate Marquise Lee (who was behind him), stopped and lept backwards while the ball was in the air.

Wanna talk about “Instincts” and “Anticipation” ?
He knew Lee was gonna be the primary of a team desperate for momentum. It’s like finding a target of opportunity. He recognized it, acted on it, jumped the route and stole the ball……..

I said “Alright….This kid is GOOD” as much as I dislike Notre Dame, I finally broke down and gave him the props he deserves.

  • RaidersAllday_LtsGeTit

Mark Im not happy. Regression. Fired HUE.. “constantly meeting with reggie” “always at DA office”

MARK is the final say no matter what you think. I know you are DA’s little brat kid.. but figure out. Your daddy is gonna need tebow again

  • GreatWhiteRaider

DA gets a pass from Reggie and/or Mark this year, maybe a coordinator or two might walk the plank for the sake of appearances?

Reggie gets a real draft in, full season of FA signings etc. = removal of built in, default excuses to fall back on.

I have no allegience to Dennis Allen. My screen name is due to my other one being locked out for unknown reasons.

Mark Davis did not fire Hue Jackson, Reggie did.

I hope these media guys ask legit questions tommorow. WHAT DIRECTION DO U WANT FOR OFFENSE/ DEFENSE.

No more of this crap talk like explosive.. tough blah blah.. Whats ur plan.

Hate to burst your bubble, but next year there will be much of the same, just with a few more draft picks.

The cap hell we are in spills into next season too.

Mark Davis is the one who fired coach Hue Jackson. Firing of long-time scout Jon Kingdon is one Reggie McKenzie actually can take credit for

Beyond that, coach Dennis Allen said what Rolando McClain’s “actions” were and how this is going to play out is a team issue.

Doesn’t sound like he’s getting waived today….Suspended maybe.

  • RaidersAllday_LtsGeTit

Lane kiffin had a vision too. He picked KNAPP that got him fired.

JIM MORA JR was a good head coach too.. till he picked KNAPP and got him fired.

Josh Mcdaniels had a plan too.

Mike NOLAN had a big plan and was actually a great DC. GONE

Mike Singletary former player .. and can talk the talk.. but was a crappy HC.

DA…. will be the same. Players dont respect the guy

So McClain’s still with the team and hasn’t been suspended yet.

Just had a thought: Make him active Sunday, and put him in on punt and kick coverages. If he refuses, they can suspend him for the last four games, and not even the union could object.
    ——
He’s either going to be suspended or cut. Either way, I think we’ve seen the last of Rolando in a Raider uniform.
