A 64-yard TD pass from Carson Palmer to Rod Streater woke up the crowd and put the Raiders within a field goal entering the fourth quarter.
It came after Desmond Bryant got a hand on a 28-yard field goal attempt by Phil Dawson, re-directing it wide right. Cleveland opens the fourth quarter on its own 22 after a 13-yard Brandon Weeden-to-Greg Little pass on third down.

Hard for me to agree on this point, sorry. I know our WRs are bad. But some of Palmer’s throws today are mindboggling. It can’t all be bad route running or bad reads.
When do you think it’s time to see what Pryor is? Just curious.

Agreed. And you can see, when we get pressure on the QB, it improves the chances of negative or zero gain plays.
The DL absolutely MUST be the first thing addressed in the offseason. You can get by with a bad or mediocre secondary if your DL is putting a lot of pressure on the QB.

Yet some of you will say our gameplan sucks. Which is an oximoron. If youre in the game at halftime, the gameplan and scheme is NOT THE PROBLEM. its pretty basic.

Pryor plays if we don’t have a legitimate shot to win the game. These guys are trying to change the culture in Oakland (I know some people don’t believe that, but whatever) and there is nothing that can have a bigger effect on that than winning. Just don’t think you step out of a chance to win a game to check out a new guy, especially if the guy that’s already at that position is maybe your best player.
BTW, there have been very few games in NFL history where a QB has thrown a perfect pass every time he drops back. Palmer is playing great today.

DA is over his head. Ascent was too quick. We need a coach with intensity on the sideline during the games. His demeanor does not inspire. I didn’t think our D could be worse than last year… it is. This is what he should be ultimately judged upon. I don’t want him back next year. If he chose his assistant coaches, it was pitiful choices. Unexcusable in this age of NFL football. I didn’t expect a winner, but not this stinkfest.
I support Palmer, but he lost it with the INT. After Denver game, Pryor should start. They NEED to see what they have and what they may need to get next year.

Chargers choke again… I love it!
Denver has 6 game lead (secured division today)over the Raiders… that is regression, Mark – and it’s only Dec. 2nd.
I am from Ohio – I was at the ATL game. They looked competitive, well studied, etc. It’s the only complete game they pitched – even in a loss. The fans deserve WAY better effort, a coach that has a pulse, and assistants who have experience in turning things around.

Moore is just like college – games where he tears it up, then more games where he gets pushed around, drops balls, etc. We have seen his ceiling already. Good #2 receiver, but not a #1. I now see where we need a #1.
