Plank don’t even consider putting Wisniewski in with those scrubs; he was all rookie team, and has been solid (not spectacular), his first year and at center, with our regurgetated zone blocking scheme.
--------
I could agree there easily, but he is by no means a world beater. I would prefer him at gaurd, not at center. I think Satele was just as good if not better.

Gannon hates the Raiders. It's well documented. One thing he holds dear is having some Raider records. That's why he's so keen on getting Palmer out.

Believe me, it isn't about concern for the Raiders and their future.

Peter King? He's hated Palmer from Cincinnati days.

All the geniuses in here ignore a well rested defense giving up a 97 yd. drive in clutch time to the Cleveland freaking Browns.

Yes. Bad pick from Palmer, but people are blind to ignore the choke job from the defense.

ust Fire Baby Says:
December 2nd, 2012 at 6:26 pm

You WANT to see 3-13.

Here’s to a successful 9-game IMPLOSION…

*************************

That ought to push season ticket sales for 2013. Will do wonders to sell jobs to new coaches and FA’s.

And no doubt will get the city to move on building a stadium.

=====

I live in Miami so I guess I should be more sensitive to the local stadium issue. To me I will admit, Oakland and LA are both ~2500mi away.

To your other points though, I don't see it that way. Al is dead. We now pay the going price for coaches. Only 32 jobs there last time I checked. We have no issue here. Ditto for F/A. Players follow the $, nothing more or less. That said, I'd MUCH prefer see us rely more on our picks and less and less on crapshoot "free" (ha) agents. Rarely works. Best teams (GB, NYG,NE) build through the draft and LOW dollar street players. With the exception of Brees and a few select others, BIG dollar F/A are usually a big mistake. Then again, as a Raider fan I'm sure I don't need to tell you about that...

Personally, I hope we trade what we can in January and February, and then trade down when it makes sense for the draft.

Sadly, I've seen all I need from DOA. I as hopeful in Septemeber. No more. He wasnt ready. Plain and simple. Shanahan 1989-esque. If they go 3-13 we don't waste ANOTHER year since I really don't think he is the answer.

9 game IMPLOSION will help move things along in that capacity and strengthen our 2013 draft.

Plus it will soften the pain of each loss we WILL be faced to endure.

Broncos will put up a 60 burger in 4 days. No doubt about it so get ready for it now.

Tom Cable was an O-line coach; the On-line played good to great most of his tenure

Hue Jackson was an offensive coach; the offense played great 85% of the time

Dennis Allen is a defensive coach; the defense is among the worst in the league. Most points given up in a 4 game span since '67

I am a season ticket holder. Today's tickets are still in the packet they came in. Nobody was interested so there they sit, wasted $228.00. I am NOT going to purchase season tickets until this team can prove that they can compete for the division! Does anybody want to buy the Denver slaughtering Raiders tickets? I will let you know!

This is obviously a lousy feeling but as RaiderRiff said; This is what you get with 10 years of horrible first and second round picks with very little focus on the line of scrimmage.

The good news is we continue to clean out the garbage (McClain will be gone after the season) and Reggie will build the team through the draft STARTING WITH BOTH LINES.

Yes we need help elsewhere but those of you old enough remember that the Raiders were built with high draft picks for the lines. Guys like 11th round Marv Hubbard simply pounded it behind first rounder Gene Upsahw and the other team did not get the ball. The other team usually tried to play catch up and we had guys like Keating and Davidson that could actually stop the run AND rush the passer.

Many keep saying that the game has changed. Tell that to Notre Dame.Win on the lines and you will win the game.
