Are you saying that guys who blame coaches have or haven’t played? Your statement taken literally would suggest that guys who played would say that, but I’m guessing maybe you meant to say the opposite.

I have a feeling people blaming coaches have never played any athletics at any level. Our players are jokes. 2nd and 3stringers on any other team. We have a hand full of starters.

However, not true. Coaching matters. It just does.

I’ve played just about every sport in my life. I’ve played for GREAT coaches and I’ve played for awful ones. They set the tone. Great coaches always have teams that win or at least overachieve. Lousy coaches have teams like the 2012 Raiders.

There’s a reason Jim Harbaugh has won at every stop he’s been at (San Diego, Stanford, 49ers). There’s a reason Arkansas was a top 10 program under Petrino and then became awful immediately after he was fired.

I can go on and on and on. But I’ll stop there.

FYI, Bill Romanowski said on the radio today that a really good coach can get an NFL team 4 extra wins per season. I think it’s fair to say Romo’s played sports before.

Trust me, I know coaching matters.

That is not the biggest problem concerning this team. We have scrubs.

The defense severely lacks talent. Not one above avg pass rusher on the DLine. Best LB is 4th round rook. Horrible CB’s. I tend to not put as much on the D coaches.
