St. Louis Rams 2010= 7-9 2011= 2-14 2012=6-6-1

Oakland Raiders 2010=8-8 2011=8-8 2012= 3-10
---

If Rams can turn it around so can we.

"But they have Bradford to build around"

Bradford's highest QB rating is 83.8..and it's THIS YR.

Palmer's is 85.3 even with all the drops.

Rams got rid of 24 players who are not even in the league anymore.

Rams picked up Cortland Finnegan, Scott Wells and Kendall Langford (at DT/DE). NOT a major free agent splurge but significant.

Their draft was SOLID with 4 immediate impact players.

A good GM can get it done.

"But they have Fisher as HC".

If DA is that far below Fisher in ability and is that much of a liability than he shouldn't even be here.

vertical passing offense would have been a disaster for palmer

=====

Yeah, Palmer was really known for sucking in the vertical offense when he was throwing bomb after bomb after bomb to Ocho, er, Chad Johnson. Johnson had 4 of his best 5 pro seasons with Palmer airing it out to him. He averaged about 15 yards per catch during that stretch.

He had a huge dropoff the season that Palmer wasn't the QB (after his playoff knee injury) until the last 4 games. His average dropped all the way down into the 10's of yards per catch. The next season with Palmer full time, right back to 14s.

Elway never ran like what these guys are doing today. Steve Young maybe? He was more of a past first and then run if you have to QB.

Cunningham is the only one I can think of that played into his thirties after starting out with that style. I don’t recall McNabb running around near as much as the RGIII & Cam Newton types.

Name some if you can.

======

Steve McNair was a running QB from the time he became a starter in 1996 until about 2002, at which point he was constantly injured. In 2003 he essentially stopped running. Interestingly he had his best QB rating by far that season adn threw for a career high 24 TDs despite only playing 14 games. He continued playing until he was 34.

All the Hue lovers only remember the highlights, and there were a few.

However, I remember Palmer standing outside the huddle, shoulders sagging, waiting patiently for a play from the sideline...as all of the momentum they had been building wasted away...

It wasn't Palmer's fault that neither he nor Campbell nor Gradkowski could score offensive touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

Does anyone really believe the players haven't checked out? Do they really believe in their coaches anymore? I don't even think they care if Mark fights for their job or not. And this will continue for years.

Why are we even reinstating SloMo? Activate someone else. Great cut since we all have seen Adams coverage. Hopefully we get to see TP6 this week.
