Please… Anyone that would like to have Alex Smith as the Raiders next QB must have forgotten all his years before this season and last season. The main reason he has done so well is because of the type of system he is in, and the fact that he inst asked to do much. They hardly have ever asked him to throw more that 20+ passes a game. The 49er have a great running game and a great D. All these are things the Raiders do not have. Any of you think CP3 is bad??? Put Alex Smith on the Raiders, and you will be begging to have CP3 back.

I am not trying to insult you at all. Miles Burris said, “he gave us a great look”. He did not say, “wow, Pryor looked great out there killing our ones”. What Burris is saying is Pryor was also on the scout team simulating Drew Brees. But Brees is 5′11″ and very accurate. Pryor is 6′5″ and not very accurate. Pryor most likely did not give the defense a “great look” at Brees. Do you understand the difference? You are so full of hero worship for guys like Newton, and Pryor it is clouding your mind.

I dont see it that way right now. Doesnt line up with Reggie’s character.

The point with Carson is you cannot turn the ball over in the redzone. As much as I hated JC we could at least win with him because he understood ball control.

I agree, but JC needed a good run game to be successful. We did not have that this year.

But this all just goes to show why we should play Pryor to see what we have and give him some real game experience.
