Cam, Kap and RGIII would probably all be back-ups on the Raiders, with the unimaginative losers the Raiders have running the show. These Bozo's would start, Matt Leinart or Brady Quinn over the far better athlete and QB they aren't accustomed to seeing.

#555: In the PAST Mr. davis didn't want independent thinking coaches. He wanted guys who'd do what he wanted. For that reason, most high profile coaches or guys wise enough to believe they'd have other chances would never want to work for him.

Fast foward to 2011/2012. Viable coaching candidates know what the challenge is in Oakland. That is why names such as Dennis Green, Bill Parcells, Sean Payton and Whisenhunt walked away in the past. (How are those guys doing by the way?)

Sean Payton had a job and was later suspended for the season. Dennis Green and Bill Parcells are 1000 yrs old and long retired. Wisenhunt was one of those guys who knew he'd become a HC on his own terms. As for interviewing him for the passed season. He has a job. Do you follow football ?

#452 and all of the other TK haters. Dude has been a pro bowl alternate 2 years in a row. The coaches and his peers who know far more football than anyone on this blog. They respect his game and ability enough to conclude he's an elite talent. The Raiders cannot afford to rid themselves of elite talent. Some of you clowns praise Burris yet ridicule TK. Get real !

How in theworld would Allen know any talent!! You's gotta go back to Denver! Because you have no coaching skills, period! You can't develop Pryor unless he's under center now. You can't just leave on the sidelines all the time and throw him under the bus at the last minute! You should terminated at the last whistle, so pack your bags the minute the game's over and carry your staff with your staff with you, low life, no coaching idiot!

Chris In NY Says:

This is what the Raiders 2013 head coaching search list should look like:

- Jon Gruden
- Greg Roman
- Vic Fangio
- Chris Peterson
- Chip Kelly
- Hue Jackson
- Mike Zimmer
- Nick Saban
- Rex Ryan

--------------------

Gruden - would re-energize the fan base, get a bit more national media, but would be expensive...

Jackson - would be interesting because its like "i realized my mistake" but they move on.that ship has clearly sailed

Kelly - good because he could employ Pryor in a zone-read option and utilize the speed on offense more effectively ...bad because college coaches coming to a rebuilding team hasnt worked since 90s Cowboys.
Ryan - love it . takes care of the attitude, and if Dallas moves on from Garrett, Ryan hires his twin bro for the d-coordinator position...but too much of a circus, but a coordinator that can draw up a game plan with his back against the wall

Saban - headed to Cleveland, then probably back to college in a couple of years

Zimmer - damn good hire. and could conceivably bring Hue in as OC to help Palmer.

Fangio - great pick, could recruit S Goldson in FA to lead defensive change

Roman - likely to get some interest in some places - could bring Alex Smith over as insurance if Raiders choose a QB (Bray-Geno Smith or Tyler Wilson) could bring a lot of Niner FAs over, too.

Peterson - has bigger fish to fry with a D-1 program

I will answer my own Question since the Reggie fans have not answered it. Zone blocking teams have not won more superbowl the power blocking team. So if Reggie wants a better chance at winning why did he come here so committed to that scheme?

----------------------------

Cork said in one of his on-line chats a few weeks back that Reggie doesn't care what blocking scheme the Raiders use.
DA & Knapp are responsible for the scheme.

One other thing, Cam Newton needs his head taken off by somebody. What a little biotch, he acts like he’s 13.

Yeah....that call on Kelly was baloney. Kelly reacted to Cam doing his childish kicking thing again.

And Tarver.. I’m not decided on … Talents pretty thin to judge him accurately ….need more depth … Corners… Pass rusher, Lb’s …

 No, I'm not either.
People forget what he inherited from Al running the defense for so long.
We had the 29th ranked defense in 2011 and in had a lot of injuries this year.
