SD can keep 9 in the box against Lienart and totally nullify the running game due to the fact the world knows Lienart can’t throw deep or intermediate passes. Lienerts 10 yard bombs have the zip of a knuckle ball. He has zero mobility and/or fire.

I have agreed from the beginning that getting an experienced HC would have been much better than starting off with a new inexperienced regime. I would have preferred continuity with Hue or Cable but that is over and it is time to move on.

I am amused by those who only offer one half of the equation. Fire all the coaches. Replaced by who?

I think that points to a lack of talent and NOT poor coaching as being the primary problem with the Raiders over the last decade.

I believe the saying goes something like; Insanity is defined as continuing to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
Have you been paying attention the last ten years?

Who are these players that you are referring to that were productive last season, but had to be let go this season, as cap casualties? I’ll give you Wimbley on D and Bush on O. Bush averaged less than 4 yards a carry last year and this year. Both Goodson and Stewart have proven capable of being able to make up for the loss of Bush. Who else was productive that wasnt retained? This team started the season with Carson Palmer at QB, DMAC at RB, Marcel Reece at FB, David Ausberry, an extremely athletic pass catching TE. Half of a successful offensive line in Wiz and Veldheer, DHB, who managed 975 yards last season, proving he is capable of producing. Not the best, but definitely enough to score points. If you couldnt get point on the board with these guys, thats on YOU coach.

Even if we had the 1st round pick, it would not have guaranteed that the pick would have offered immediate help, at #17. I think coming into the season with a vet QB is a WAY bigger advantage than some mid first round rookie, whose production is NEVER guaranteed.

Not all, but this team looks worse, has performed worse, and has a worse record than last year. Those are facts. You keep giving excuses for Dennis, but no reasons as to why you think hes a good coach. And we did have a 1st round pick, it was used on a vet QB, which lots of teams would love to have. Stop saying we didnt have a pick. We had a pick, used it on CP, and he was undeniably the leader of this team this season, and the only one week in and week out who even gave us half a chance, playing with Knapps sh#tty playcalling. We didnt “waste” our pick. And our 2nd was used the year before to get Barksdale, who would DEFINITELY Be helping this team, and Taiwan Jones, who this staff has refused to even let sniff a carry. Our picks were used. Its not a valid excuse.

And with the exception of Wimbley, Bush, and Routt, who were the big money players that had so much to do with us being 8-8 that arent around? Exactly. Theres enough talent on this team that they should not have been blown out numerous times. Our offense should not have grossly regressed. That has nothing to do with the cap, or the previous 10 years.

So, we have all seen why the excuses. We dont need to hear it again. Just tell us why you think Dennis Allen is a good coach.
Again, that is why no one with experience wanted the gig and why we had to offer 4 year deals.
