I like the way Tarvers D has been playing the last 3 weeks. A Carter has gotten into game shape playing more downs and getting pressure. Seymour off the field where he belongs. McClain out and LB’s are better. The corners are a problem get Tarver a solid MLB and some corners and we are at least respectable.

Has this been the worst special teams season in NFL history? From long-snapping woes in week 1 to not getting a kick return past the 20 seemingly all season to not having more than a handful of positive punt returns. No special teams TDs all year. And hey, why not close the season giving up a kickoff return TD against the same team you couldn’t snap the ball against in week 1?

The “drop” by Myers was a poor choice. Through it to him with a guy draped all over him. So far, he can only find the guy 5 yards directly in front of him. Safeties will eat that up if he doesn’t show something else.
To his credit, on the Reece throw he did give the impression of a checkdown, although it also looked a lot like a designed look off. Either way, it’s more than I expected so kudos where due.

Team has been horrible at disguising blitz all season. And the DBs always rush from 7 yards out. Not a very successful play, no matter who you have out there running. Have to have your DBs not blitz so late. Also have to learn to make it not so obvious, so its not so easy to pickup. Just weak football. Sucks.

The floater over the middle to Myers only worked because nobobdy was with 10 yards of him. And that flip outside on the flare … that’s got land within 3 seconds to give the RB any time at all.
