McClain arrested again

Embattled Raiders middle linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested in Alabama on Tuesday.
According to WHNT-TV, McClain was pulled over for a window-tint violation. McClain proceeded to give the police officer that pulled him over a false name.
At that point, McClain was arrested. He later posted bond and was released from Decatur City Jail.
This comes on the heels of an incident late in 2011, when McClain was convicted of four misdemeanors, including discharging a firearm. Charges later were dropped when the person that accused McClain of shooting a gun next to his ear decided not to proceed.
Raiders coach Dennis Allen suspended McClain for two games for conduct detrimental to the team in the second half of the 2012 season. McClain was inactive for Oakland’s final three regular-season games.
It’s likely that the Raiders will seek to trade McClain in the near future. If they can’t find any takers, they likely then would release him.
He was the No. 8 pick in the 2010 NFL draft out of Alabama. He has failed to develop into the dominant player the Raiders envisioned.

DAV, AZ and STL are potential trade partners. If Joeckel drops to 3 I would think the Cardinals would want him. As for STL the MAY want to jump up to grab Millner. If we can drop down a few spots and pick Warmack then pick up Barret Jones in the second I would be a very happy camper.

    —-

STL just signed Finnegan and drafted Jenkins.. Thyre not going after Milliner.

    They need a LT.

Dont think Arizona will pay much or has that much to pay for a trade up.

Andy Reids pick will determine what the Raiders do.
    ——

They can’t really afford not to draft a QB.

    >. hope you’re right. you can start a rebuild with a LT as easy as a QB.

Not when he’s protecting Matt Cassell or Brady Quinn you can’t.

We lost because we only had 20 points. All eight teams alive averaged over 24 a game.

ALL EIGHT TEAMS WERE IN THE TOP 11 IN SCORING!

What more do you need, man?

If there was a crappy offense getting by with defense alone, don’t you think there would be a team still alive doing just that?

Nolando needs to get out of that hick town. Most signatures can’t be read. Arrestrd for giving a false name, by some ignorant hick cop. Time to move on. Hicks hate affluent black men. Jealousy drives them crazy.
    _______________________

Well, knowing young NFL ball players when it comes to not investing their money properly, and knowing the pattern of brain-dead behavior of one Rolando McClain, and knowing that Mr. McClain’s future isn’t what one would call “bright,” and knowing how really butt-face ugly he is, I doubt that even a small town hick cop is jealous of him. What’s to envy? Nothing.

Thats what we would hope. But theres no QB worth taking #1. I see KC taking Joeckel and not looking back. If you cant get the franchise QB, you go and get the next best thing; the man that will protect him. Joeckel #1 to KC. I think its Jaguars who will determine what we do, way more than KC, because I think both the Jags and ourselves will be targeting the same defensive players to a degree.

  • DennisAllensVisor

STL or Miami are the only trade targets I see at this point.

They’re really the only teams with ammo to move up. And a need.

I think Atl will have a hard time with Sea, they match up well with them imo. Sea stops the run and they have those big physical corners to bump Julio and White, plus Atl’s D is not that great outside of John Abraham I can see Lynch having a nice game as well.

“IMHO,THE POLICE HAD TO KNOW WHO THEY WERE DEALING WITH B4 THEY PULL’D HIM OVER.DO THEY REALLY PULL “ADULTS” OVER FOR TINTED WINDOWS ?”

The cop probably did know who he was because it’s a small town and someone on a thread said McClain’s plates announced who he was (don’t know if that’s accurate, though), but I can say that in my town it’s common to get pulled over and ticketed for windows that are too dark because of the gang violence that exists. Plus, it’s a way to fill empty city coffers.

Yep, I know what youre saying. Its just not happening this year. Who are the top QBs this year:

    Geno Smith, West Virginia
    Matt Barkley, USC
    Tyler Wilson, Arkansas, Jr.
    EJ Manuel, Florida St.
    Aaron Murray, Georgia, Jr.
    Landry Jones, Oklahoma
    Tyler Bray, Tennessee, Jr.
    Ryan Nassib, Syracuse
    Mike Glennon, North Carolina St.
    Zac Dysert, Miami(OH)

KC is not spending the #1 pick on any of these guys, no matter how much we would love it.

I think its more likely that they try to swing a trade for a QB like Flynn, instead of taking their chances on any of these guys in the 1st. Im gonna keep my money on Joeckel to go #1.

But if youre right, and KC picks ANY QB #1, I’ll be happy. Because they would have blown the pick BIG TIME.
