You miss the point. WIllis was about the only defensive player SF drafted the last six years in the top two rounds.

Balt didn’t start winning until they drafted Flacco and Rice with their first two picks in 2008.. then they added Oher the next year.

I’ll try I had personal experiences with BRobb before Gruden left concerning his alcohol issues and Gruden had BRobb under heavy scrutiny and would penalize him if he was caught drinking. Gruden knew of his bi-polar issues as well.

When BRob went AWOL a lot of people including myself thought Gruden somehow was connected. Maybe not directly but because of how hard he had been on BRobb concerning that a lot of people thought he was connected. Why Cally did what he did was a mystery at the time. Because 2 years earlier we had dominated the Bucs by running straight at Sapp with BRobb and we dominated Sapp to the tune of a 45-0 score. We ran all day straight at him and he couldn’t stop us because of BRobb. And it was set we were going to do the same thing and all of a sudden the gameplan changed late in the week when we would not have time to be nearly as effective knowing if we stuck with the gameplan to throw their DE’s would be most effective. The bets chance to win was to run at Sapp.

Someone with enough enfluence got to Callahan and he changed the gameplan. Everyone will point to Al Davis because their ignorant to what he does. Mr Davis’ enfluence was on defense NOT offense he never bothered much with the offense and if he did at all it was just matchup stuff not gameplan related. What they did that Friday was unconcionable. He in their right mind changes a SB gameplan on the Friday of the game. We knew how to beat the Bucs and we had what we needed to beat them with.

Call it whatever you want conspiracy sabotage whatever but the truth is it happened. As a result we had to throw and it was disasterous…………period
