M1>excellent questions

This seems like im speaking to a cross poster, but at least it is constructive.

F>Mistic1, thank you very much for your very interesting responses. This is Scourge trying out a new name. Don't think I'll be cross-posting. It takes too much energy.[snip]
===========================================
M1>3. the origin of the so called fashion must be examined them acknowledged, it is prison culture. i will not go into what it means here, but will say that when men came home from prison the culture of saggin pants came with them. The youth assimilated and adopted the so called style, many uninformed about what it really is. by the way spell the word saggin backwards and it reveals an interesting code.
F> Ya got me yet again, you Supavillian, you! I've always been curious as to the origin of the saggy pants. Please explain this prison fashion statement.
===========================================
[snip]
M1>secondly most black people dont seek examination from experts that specialize in treating black people with consideration to our unique amerikkkan experience.
[snip]
F>I'll have to keep this in mind. I'm considering going back to grduate school to get my doctorate in counseling psychology.

BTW, have you ever heard of Dr. William Cross the Africam American who developed the theory of Black identity development. I believe he called it Theory of Nigrescence.

M1>no they would not need to face the exact same condition yet learned behaviors and coping mechanisms are taught to the next generation and are thereby inherited.

F>Isn’t this backwards? (Not trying to nitpick.) If they are learned behaviors and mechanisms, can they not be unlearned or reframed?

SNIP

M1>…. ni**as.

They in turn called our youth this name and we have kept it alive to this day.

F>I’m a little lost here. If the affliction is hereditary and thereby unintentional, why intentionally keep an affliction like this “alive”? Please clue me in.

M1>However a person that [snip] wears his pants below the waste should also consider seeking help.

As they [those people wearing their pants below the waist] may be undiagnosed, but all the while suffering form mental illness.

F> Mystic1, I;m more than a tad confused here. How would the Black psychologists you’re referring to differentiate in the diagnosis between a fashion style (or fad) and a mental disorder? And I ask this concerning Black therapists diagnosing Black clients (and not diagnosing non-Black clients who wear their pants the same way).
========

excellent questions

This seems like im speaking to a cross poster, but at least it is constructive.

1. Your first question can be answered by the fact that we have not adopted many systems amongst our own or a unified code to counter these behaviors or reform ourselves. many people in my community will not agree that these are issues, or on how to address them. a result of thinking within the vacuum that is the current system we are dominated by. The current systems that we subscribe to will need to be completely eradicated from our thought process and replaced with our own in order to truly reform ourselves. Holidays like the 4th of you-lie (july)fall into this category for instance. No different than how brothers in prison were remade by the noi (malcolm x), or brothas from the street oakland were reformed by black panthers (bobby seale) for example.

2. the answer to your second question is the same as the first. many of our people have no clue about the origin of the rituals we practice. many are in disagreement about the negative affects of practicing these rituals. This includes the use of the word ni**a.

this quote from our great freedom fighter revolutionary and warrior queen says it all;

"I freed hundreds of slaves, and i could have freed thousands more , if only they had known they were slaves"- Harriet Tubman

3. the origin of the so called fashion must be examined them acknowledged, it is prison culture. i will not go into what it means here, but will say that when men came home from prison the culture of saggin pants came with them. The youth assimilated and adopted the so called style, many uninformed about what it really is. by the way spell the word saggin backwards and it reveals an interesting code.

The mental health experts that i have hinted at are in the minority in their field and even amongst black mental health specialist. we simply dont have many mental health experts looking int researching or documenting the unique profile of our people as it relates to our unique existence.

secondly most black people dont seek examination from experts that specialize in treating black people with consideration to our unique amerikkkan experience.

harry carson belcher and darryl russel may have benefited from working with one of these specialist.

Pryor starts
Mark it down, unless coach is delusional and says we will compete and says palmer gives us best chance

I also remember a mediocre LB a few years back when kiffin was coach and said that we would be dynamic

I am tired of the bs, i can accept this year being a pass
