We just need to start building this team through the draft as best we can this year and get more undrafted free agents with the free agents we can get now on the cheap. not worried about winning right now because i know we need to many players.

I like Sims size. If he's healthy, he can be disruptive, but hes always out of shape and hurt. Reggie clearly has a thing for guys that are prone to injury. Sims signing may mean Kelly is gone soon. Reggie is probably just seeing if he can get a draft pick for him, which wont happen.

Not as down on Maiava replacing Wheeler as others are. I think Maiava has his first full productive season with us. Not saying he will be an All-Pro, but I actually think he will have no problem matching, or even surpassing Wheelers production.

2 decent signings, depth at the least, but nothing that someone making an NFL GM salary should be tooting their own horn over.

Lets see what else you got, Reggie.

Well, since he barely has been able to get into the starting lineup, he better play with passion. Didn't play at all in 2012, but his def coordinator raves about him. Was he injured or something?

NGRaiderfan Says:March 13th, 2013 at 2:41 pm340.severeraiderz Says:March 13th, 2013 at 2:31 pmNGRaiderfanThe difference is that Dennis Allen took essentialy the same roster as Hue, one could argue a better roster, and produced a much worse product. He had the latitude to hire his own staff and fired almost half of them a year later, did they not deserve another year? Allen concluded that he had seen enough after one year to conclude that they should be fired, why couldn’t one come to the same conclusion about him?
===============
the same roster minus the best pass rusher and two starting corners, and then he had the two starting corners who were supposed to replace them both go down by week 2. his starting safety playing corner by week 4. starting pro bowl DT missing at least 10 games. 4th round rookie OLB starting, 1st round bust MLB starting, a ss that was playing hurt all year, a FS that would barely make the 53 man roster on any other club starting, and than pulling a hamstring everytime he got beat. starting guard moving to center, new RG, new LG. Yea, thats pretty much the same team.His major failure was knapp, that’s on him. it’s called a rookie mistake. Hue made his fare share as well.

**********************

Seymour made the pro bowl on name alone, I’d take pat lee over chris johnson and I’d take huff at corner over routt. Wimbley was replaced with Wheeler, which was an overall upgrade. Not a fan of Miles, but I’d take him over Groves. He also had Shaughnessy the whole year. He chose to move wiz to center and our crown jewel FA acquisition was supposed to be Briesel. He had Palmer and Dmac on the field together and the benefit of a full offseason thanks to there not being a lockout. Our defense has been terrible for years but his decisions are the sole reason that our offense saw a dramatic dropoff

------------------

well you're stuck with him for at least another year so at least root for him and hope he is the guy for the job. I would think as raider fans we would want to keep our coahes and let them develop and get better. He made a mistake hiring knapp, and he corrected his mistake by firing him.

Hue was a great OC, not the best Hc and definitely not a good GM. Hue made a similar mistake by not firing bresnehan when al davis was fired. u can say that cost us the playoffs.
