Schedule due out Thursday

The league pushed back the release of the 2013 schedule from today to Thursday. Therefore, we won’t know when the Raiders play their regular-season games until Thursday at 5 p.m. PDT.
We already know who the Raiders play. There’s far more intrigue in when the games are played, when their bye week comes, who they open against.
To recap: The Raiders home opponents are — Chargers, Chiefs, Broncos, Redskins, Eagles, Steelers, Titans and Jaguars. Their road games are against: Chargers, Chiefs, Broncos, Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Colts and Texans.
In other news, defensive tackle Pat Sims (personal reasons) and kicker Sebastian Janikowski were the only two players that didn’t attend the first day of the Raiders offseason workout program. Janikowski typically doesn’t attend many offseason workouts, for obvious reasons.

Lefty12, That torch is nice but that don’t mean squat when the GM is making remarks about his father and the coach is disrespecting and doghousing players his father drafted to be on that team.

Guess what? Al didnt like some of the players he drafted. Huff was gonna be traded in 08 the denver broncos prior to the season but they couldnt agree on draft picks.

JABUST?? Al let him go after 2 1/2 years

ROMAC?? according to Greg Papa that Al told certain advisors the he made a mistake in drafting ROLANDO..and how he was stuck with him. Couldnt get off blocks, didnt hustle etc terrible run defender

Top 10 = Joeckel, Fisher, Jordan, Floyd, Milliner, Smith, Lotulelei, Mingo, Werner & Ansah

Next 10 = Moore, Jones, Warmack, Cooper, Austin, Allen, Patterson, Rhodes, Johnson & Richardson

I agree with John Madden – not you. “We need a whole barrel of guys”

I’d take any of those 2nd tier dudes and think that player would be an immediate starter & impact player for us

OK, one more: No team makes more sense to move down than #Raiders. Need picks + sitting at a high-leverage spot. Milk it.

Bills GM Buddy Nix thinks there is 2 or 3 franchise QBs in this draft.

RR Star not even in your top 20?

  • The_Judge37

If KC and Jax both take the top two O Tackles, then it limits us bad. But if the Vikings really love Geno and fear Philly or Cle taking him, we could ask and get a lot but have to move way down.

This may not be as bad of a year as we are expecting especially come draft time IF we can trade out of #3 since the Cheifs are also wanting to look at trading out

  • Orthodoxdj

The schedule leads me to believe we will go 6-10. 8-8 would be overachieving.
