Projected lineup for Raiders 2013 regular-season opener

By Steve Corkran
Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at 3:28 pm in Oakland Raiders.

For an idea of just how much the Raiders have changed in a short time, we took at look at the starting lineup for the Raiders regular-season opener in 2012 and the regular-season finale, then projected the starting lineup for the 2013 regular-season opener.

    Haters? Is this JR hanging JLH out to dry, or a clutch throw on 3rd and 15 late in the game??

    =============================================

    He threw it behind JLH: notice how JLH has to turn his body and almost reach behind him.
    ——

    Couldn’t have lead him because of the Defender. It was a good throw into a tight window on 3rd and Long. Have to give him at least that.

    But that wasn’t the 1st, or last, time he hung ole Johnnie Lee out to dry

    And no NFL team is bringing JaMarcus “I just want to sit behind a veteran and get paid for doing nothing” Russell in for a tryout or anything. The Boston Bomber dude has a better chance of landing in camp.

    The Boston Bomber Dude would be more welcome by you people, too.

    Huh?? Behind him?? Dude never had to break stride. If he doesn’t turn to catch the ball, it hits him in the back. I’ll just give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re joking.

    ========================================

    “If he doesn’t turn to catch the ball, it hits him in the back.”

    Exactly! Most quarterbacks are aware that receivers catch passes with their hands, not their back. Therefore, they don’t throw it at their receivers’ backs, but at their hands.

    JaMarcus was evidently strung out on lord-knows-what when they taught that. I’m sure he’ll get around to learning it right after he bothers to actually learn a playbook (in other words, NEVER).

    Debo thinks a good throw is one that ruins a receiver’s career.

    Whatever, dude. You’re the biggest joke on this blog. Stop fantasizing about having hot man-sex with JaMarcus the Hutt and actually study some football.

    Look everyone. Debo’s going to away because we hurt his feewings now.

    If JaMarcus ever becomes a serial killer, Debo will be in here telling us how the victims deserved it.

    Note that I don’t expect this to happen, because this would require JaMarcus to get off his fat backside for more than the ten second it takes to open the fridge and grab his Purple Drank.

    That actually was a good throw in a tight window. Can’t lead him because the defense was there.

    Jarmarcus was drafted before we had any kind of scouting dept. Reggie & Co would have found him out in interviews.

    ========================================

    If you can’t lead the receiver, then don’t throw on that kind of pattern. Too much risk of exactly what happened.

    But again, that would require JaMarcus to have actually learned some plays, instead of just going out and winging it every Sunday.

  • http://goducks.com Sir RaiderDuck, OMS

    No other receiver was open? Miller wasn’t open?

    Or was JaPaycheck too lazy (as usual) to actually go through his reads, because that would require work?

    I think we all know the answer.

    —-

    Was Miller the one dancing at the bottom of the screen, trying to shake the jam? Because there were only 3 WR’s going out on routes in that play and one Fell down.

    Is it that difficult for you to admit? I hate JR but it’s no big deal to give him his props on that one throw, plenty of other stuff to bash him with.

    not to mention if we are staying at 4-3 we have too many LBs and not enough DTs. we’re a 3-4 primary team from a roster standpoint

    There will be quite a competition at LB.

    Hard to think Burris, roach, and Burnett won’t start.

    But I think evidence suggests we are going 3-4.

    Then u throw in Moore and maiava.

    But also carter and hunter could play OLB in a 3-4.
