Raiders re-sign long-snapper

The Raiders turned to Nick Guess early last season after regular long-snapper Jon Condo suffered a concussion, and backup long-snapper Travis Goethel showed that he wasn’t ready for game action.
Well, Guess is back again as a member of the Raiders roster after he was signed today. Given Condo is at full strength and among the best at what he does, Guess is a long-shot to make the 53-man roster and likely won’t stick past training camp.

Reece is special. Hue didn’t use him enough, Knapp was inconsistent but used him more than Hue, so I hope the new OC can take advantage of his skills.
He can catch, run, and block. The most underrated weapon on our team.

Barnes struggles versus ELITE pass rushers, but holds his own versus everybody else. Von Miller dominates nearly every RT in the league
    *************
Say what you will about Palmer, but he made our line, and particularly Barnes, look better than it was. He got rid of the ball fast. Barnes is far from average in pass protection. He is fine as a backside blocker on run plays, but you can see from film, we rarely run behind him.

    ====

The other thing that people rarely credited him for was helping the blocking with pre snap reads and audibles. Spotting the blitz and shifting the blocking or switching to a different play makes a huge difference in how effective the OL looks.

Whoever starts at QB is going to be less adept at this than Palmer was. Flynn has the best shot at being close given his number of years in the league, the system that he learned under in GB, and an impressive 38 on the Wonderlic testifies for his ability to think and process information quickly.

    How can I trust you?

    20) Darren McFadden
    21) DeMarco Murray
    22) Rashard Mendenhall
    23) Ryan Mathews
Blame on scheme if you wish, but McFadden was dreadful last year. We’re sick of waiting for him to become a true star. Murray needs to prove his body can withstand the duties that come with a featured role. Mendenhall gets a fresh start with the Arizona Cardinals, but his 2012 season left a bad taste. Mathews is running out of time to show he’s anything other than a huge personnel blunder by the Bolts.

I don’t think DMac was healed from the Lisfranc. You could see it on the 1 long run of the season against Pitt, he got caught from behind (and pushed into the end zone) by a safety, which never happened prior to the injury. I don’t think he was confident in the structure of his foot. Hope he gets back to early 2011 form, but I am not holding my breath.

That was true when Al was here.
We are overhauling the team at this point.
    ————————————-
    Hey O!
Yes, you´re right, but overhauling means we´re with too little hope for playoffs in the next 2 years and I don´t like it.
When every season starts I want to believe we can win more than 8 games.

I used to Juice about 20lbs of Veggies a week…Loved it–My wife would always complain about the fact that it
“Tastes like sh!t–Why can’t you make one that tastes good?”

And my response would always be, “Im not interested in what it tastes like, I just want to get those vegetables, on that cutting board, into This Body..”

So I would always have to make her something like an apple, orange, lime, celery, cucumber juice first–and then I would just go
Kale, Cucumber, Lime, Orange, Spinach, Tomato, Ginger, Romaine, Celery, Habenero, Beet, Raddish, and Fennel–pour it into a 24 oz glass and slam that baby…

It seriously does give you a mild “high” Colors are more vivid, seriously.

Guess Im heading to the farmers market after work now, you guys got me daydreaming again..

Also, Nobody has talked about–CHIA SEEDS–

When they are wet they secrete a “slime”–So for those of you looking to extract toxins from your body, take a teaspoon of chia seeds everyday and chase it down with water…

The “slime” will then secrete and the toxins will be absorbed by the slime and passed out of your body in the form of waste…What happens alot of times is that when you ingest a toxin (Crap food, carcinogen etc..) Your body tries to insulate it from itself by storing it in fat cells–when you exercise, those fat cells get burned up and the toxins get re-released and your body tries to get them out of your through excretion through your skin, or your bowels..HOWEVER: Many times, your body RE-Absorbs the toxins through the lower intestine—Chia seeds however, cause the toxins to bind to the “slime” and Do not allow the intestine to re-absorb the toxin…

    All true.

Watch the Documentary “Hungry for Change” on Netflix, It will open your eyes.

Don’t slam your juice. Chewing (the saliva that is produced) is integral in digesting all those nutrients. Drink it slow. Also try this juice recipe, your wife may like it, I have gotten a few people on it.

    5 big Kale leaves
    handful of spinach
    1 cucumber
    1 big stalk of celery
    1-2 carrots (depending on size)
    1 green apple
    1″ piece of ginger
1/3 of a lemon (peeled, or it gets a little bitter)

That will make about 24oz, it’s what I usually drink. Tastes awesome.
