On Wednesday, several Raiders are scheduled to work with local high school players at Laney College as part of the NFL High School Player Development program.
Center Stefen Wisniewski, defensive end Andre Carter and cornerback Chimdi Chekwa are among those that will work with players from: Alameda, Bethel Christian, Castro Valley, Encinal, Fremont, Oakland, San Leandro, James Logan, San Lorenzo, Piedmont, Skyline, Tennyson and Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep high schools.
In other news, the Raiders rookie mini camp takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The media are allowed to attend Saturday.
At that time, we will provide you with updates on how the new players look, as the coaches get their first look at the 10 players selected in the NFL draft last month, as well as the numerous undrafted free agents signed.

    If you look carefully, Flynn is the only guy using the baby sized plates on that stand on one leg thing they’re doing.

    —–

    You don’t have to look all that carefully. All the others with man weights and Flynn using Amy Trask’s equipment.

    ======

    Yeah, but I bet Flynn beats them all at chess. Well, Trask can probably take him …

    You do realize that SD & KC were worse than the 2011 version last year. And yes Denver were better, but I think they beat 2 teams last year with a winning record. So when you’re downplaying Hue’s quality wins & bragging up the Donkos, you might wanna think about that.
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    If Hue was here last year and played against the Broncos he’d be 6-10 at best and with the injuries we had last year he would have lost one or two more.5-11. If he didn’t ignore the cap issues he would have let some players go also and lost maybe one or two more games.4-12 or 3-13.

    :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    there is no doubt in my mind that Hue would rip out the plumbing of a 13 story building with his teeth if he thought that would get us into the playoffs…

    i know he screwed-up during his first full season… that screw-up being bringing in “Hush man i can’t catch” and having Palmer waste every single throw to him…

    Hue wasn’t gonna do that again…

    but McKenzie can’t seem to find the “eject the deject” button for Denny… and that’s a big problem…

    denny hasn’t shown the ability to change, adjust, correct or even recognize a problem… he needs to go…
