Hayden released from hospital

Rookie cornerback D.J. Hayden has been released from Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley and “resting comfortably at home” in the Bay Area, according to a Raiders spokesman.

The team announced Tuesday that its No. 12 pick out of Houston had been recovering at a local hospital after undergoing surgery to remove abdominal scar tissue. Hayden reported discomfort during Oakland’s first organized team activity last week.

Hayden, whose draft stock soared despite his miraculous recovery from a near-death heart vein rupture at the University of Houston last fall, will be unavailable at least until training camp at the end of July, coach Dennis Allen said.

I should have said we are close to the Belize border. Belize city is a lot farther south. Not far from Corazoltown in Belize though.
    ======================================================

Drove right thru there. Spent a nite or two at Acayama Reef south of Cancun, then Punta Allen a stones throw north of the preserve, then drove to Chetumal and back up to Uxmel for a night, and back up to the north coast for a boat ride and nite on Holbox. We’re not much for hanging on a beach for a week sipping cocktails, we like to explore a bit.
In Chetumal that urge to keep going(Belize) is why I renewed my passport. Did Belize a couple years later. Just translate the above itinerary into ‘Belezian’ and you can figure out what we did there.

Strip away the positve and negative hyperbole here, and the blog consensus reflects this article almost exactly. I’m concerned that it still does, 2 years later. Now’s his time to at minimum sieze the #2 spot.

You don’t see many Hasidic Jews out here in Cali. I imagine Podunk either.
I’d never seen one. I was flying to New York from SF and sitting next to this Hasidic Jew.

We talked about the Raiders quite a while, Nice guy, Raider fan

    Go figure.

Well there you go small world. Chetumal, that’s where we do our major shopping. We’re moving here full time now. Just have to go back to the states to bring some things down in a big van and it will be done. Will miss going to Raider games but still may come up for a few.
Yes when my wife and I where looking for a place to retire full time about ten years ago so, we drove all over Belize from the Chet / Belize border to Dangriga. It’s a piece of cake to take a boat from the Chet pier to San Pedro Belize for the weekend.

    Game Over.

Looks like the Heat will have to close out in Game 7 at home

GG You found my scouting report on Pryor huh?

I didn’t know he ran a 3.6 until we had drafted him but this report is almost word for word what i would’ve written about Terrelle Pryor. Had he stayed in school I think he wins the Heisman and is the a top 10 draftee. he really improved from his soph to junior year and actually start the incline in the Rosebowl vs Ore. in his soph season he was spectacular in that game and followed it up with another spectacular performance to beat Arkansas Ryan Mallett in the BCS bowl game. But I was sold on him in that Ore. game his sophmore year.

Heat need a big man bad, if they win this series I find it difficult to believe they can survive the finals without one.

The depth charts on OurLads is also interesting. Actually, if you look at CBSSports, ESPN, OurLads and Rotoworld depth charts, there’s differences here and there with certain positions.

OL, DL, and WR especially i’m interested in.

Some have Streater as #2 behind Moore at the X position. Some have Streater behind Ford at the Z position. Some have Streater starting at Z. etc etc.

  • rediaR

They still have Taiwan at RB. Strike one.

They have Nix at RG when he is clearly in a 50/50 comp with Bergs for the left. Strike two.

They have Cribbs at KR and Adams at PR. Cribbs should be PR with Ford at KR. Strike three.

It’s all throwing pancakes at a maple tree, but when they ignore the obvious it makes them look silly.
