Raiders sign more than half their 2013 draft class

The Raiders on Thursday signed six of their 10 selections in the 2013 NFL draft.
Tight ends Nick Kasa and Mychal Rivera, running back Latavius Murray, wide receiver Brice Butler, defensive tackle Stacy McGee and defensive end David Bass now are under contract long-term.
Still unsigned are the Raiders first four selections: cornerback D.J. Hayden, offensive tackle Menelik Watson, linebacker Sio Moore and quarterback Tyler Wilson.
It’s expected that the four unsigned draftees will be under contract before the Raiders begin training camp in Napa in late July.

Remember DHB needed over 100 passes thrown his way to get his 50+ catches and 900 yards.

No way he sees that many targets in Indy with Hilton and Wayne there, and Pep Hamilton replacing the air-attack of Bruce Arians.

Mark hired Reggie without interviewing anyone else based on opinions of people who either had ulterior motives (Wolf getting his son promoted into Reggie’s spot in GB) or were nearly 40 years removed from the game……

….hope he learned a lesson here if Reggie fails.

Exactly. And I will add, Wolf wanted Mike Sherman for the GM job after he left. Gee that worked great.

If Flynn struggles in June, he can point to his 700 yards and 8 TDs in two games.

If Pryor struggles, he can point to his… 75 yards after 3 quarters on 8-22 passing. And similar struggles vs every legit D he faced at Ohio State.

panicking over todays tweets is useless

if all 3 qbs look like this during preseason then you have an issue.

also if none of the qbs can crisply move the ball down field as the plays are designed pryor has a huge advantage with his improve ability.

However i think by the time pre season comes along pryor will be fine executing the plays as they are drawn up

    Kaepernick’s 1st start= 16-23, 243 yards, wins meaningful game.

    Pryor’s = 8-22, 150 yards (half in the 4th quarter), loses.

Almost identical number of throws. The REAL QB completes TWICE as many for 100 more yards.

Hue would have to face the salary cap, injury issues. Older players like Seymour and the fact that he alienated some of the players and fans. He also went 8-8 in a crappy division and still didn’t make the playoffs. Last year would have been a disaster as it was for Allen. Hue 6-10 at the very best because he would have faced the Peytons twice. Most likely 4-12 because of the state of the team. I don’t believe Hue could have handled the cap the way Reg has.

kappy also had the benefit of being the number 2 qb for two off season programs training camp pre season , and a year and 1 1/2 of taking reps in the same offense.

This allowed him to transition smotthly and be well preped for his first start.

pryor had 2 offenses in 2 years and was in active most of the year.

In fact he only had 1/2 a week as the number 2 qb and wasn’t old he would start until Thursday before the game

it isnt hard to see why the results are different based on the career paths.

    lets not over simplify

we get it you dont think pryor can play you didnt think jc could play, but you loved palmer (at first you have changed your tune now that it is indefensible)

Plunkett had 10 losing seasons and 4 winning seasons.
His team was really really good in those 4 winning seasons, and he played pretty well in two of them, helping his team to the SB.

With the Raiders, Plunkett threw for more INTs than TDs, while taking 178 sacks in just 57 starts.

Kurt Warner might not make it into the HOF, and not only did he win 2 SBs, he played in a 3rd.
