Raiders sign more than half their 2013 draft class

The Raiders on Thursday signed six of their 10 selections in the 2013 NFL draft.
Tight ends Nick Kasa and Mychal Rivera, running back Latavius Murray, wide receiver Brice Butler, defensive tackle Stacy McGee and defensive end David Bass now are under contract long-term.
Still unsigned are the Raiders first four selections: cornerback D.J. Hayden, offensive tackle Menelik Watson, linebacker Sio Moore and quarterback Tyler Wilson.
It’s expected that the four unsigned draftees will be under contract before the Raiders begin training camp in Napa in late July.

    You guys just talk ish about his rookie season. He has improved by leaps and bounds.

    Idgf what DHB is doing. He wasn’t worth 8 million to us OR the Colts! You want DHB back? Whine to the grave.

    DHB’s agent wanted a lot of money…..maybe Reggie did want him back, but by the time DHB’s agent came back to Earth, it was too late?

    And Players often are more likely to take less money from another team….a pay cut on your current team is like a slap in the face. Not always, but often times.

  • SnBG

    DHB is not a # 1 receiver and for the money he was being paid it’s good he’s gone. Streater, Moore, Vernon, Reece, Ausberry, Kasa will do just fine compared to DHB and hopefully Butler will do the job also

  • 0ak r8rs

    Well the offense doesn’t look good today apparently. Should have a report any minute I suppose. At least we won’t hit 5k. If anyone was paying attention, I think we all agreed the offense was gonna be a work in progress. All new QBs and no real number one WR. It’s the first day of minicamp guys?!?

    What does bother me is Murray going down w a foot injury. Sound familiar? That’s all we need is another RB w chronic foot injuries.

    Good news is maybe the offense looked shltty in part BECAUSE of the defense. That wouldn’t be such a bad thing of that defense is coming together already. I expect to be a defensive team anyway the first half, w the offense coming on after the bye.

    DA, and Mckenzie are both garbage.
    ========

    Mark hired Reggie without interviewing anyone else based on opinions of people who either had ulterior motives (Wolf getting his son promoted into Reggie’s spot in GB) or were nearly 40 years removed from the game……

    ….hope he learned a lesson here if Reggie fails.

    Exactly. And I will add, Wolf wanted Mike Sherman for the GM job after he left. Gee that worked great.
