Is Tony Little even still alive?

  • M.Shorter

I thought Warriors were the best fit, but I don’t blame him for leaving the Fakers.
Kobe is old and he b!tches a lot.
Nash is old and can’t play defense.
    PG is weak.
    Faker Fans didnt appreciate him.
    Smart move!
    ———————–
True about PG and Nash. but Kobe can b!tch all he wants he’s a 5x champ. Also are you saying Dwight doesnt b!tch? Explain to me whats so good about Howard?

  • RaiderRockstar

    @Duck

I loved Tony Robbins in the movie ‘Shallow Hal’

especially when Jack Black freaks out and says “Banana Hands!!”

Jordan had 6 six and he didnt b!tch like Kobe.
Howard is a top c in the NBA.

Being a Raider fan also, I guess I am used to it….but never let anyone tell me that my favorite footballl team is the Faders!
    Just saying!

going from 8-8 to 4-12 to now being in the conversation for the 1st overall pick in 2014 isn’t considered “fading” ??

what would you call it? a freefall? plummet?

What are you referring to when say Kobe beyotches?

  • RaiderRockstar

    @hwnrdr

no – I will never call the Raiders “faders” even if it holds true.

fans don’t bash their own team, like Gdog was yesterday

    speaking of bit*hes …

  • J Hill

    Great point, Hwn.

    Are the Raiders the Faders?

    LOLOLOLOL

How in the heck are all those banners fake????

its funny reading comments form jilted laker fans, all in a tizzy because howard decided he didnt want to be there.

Many fans are now cught up in the dan gilbert mode just as when lebron left Cleveland.

Fans dont own the player, and the player owes you squat.

Howard doesnt care about the so called laker tradition and in his mind its only sports, I agree.

he has the right to play where ever he wants, and has earned this chance to explore the market and choose what is the best fit for himself. His reasons can be whatever he so desires, and they dont need to fit any one’s idea of what is or isnt important.

Good for dwight. Who the hell cares anyway it isnt like sports really matter

  • J Hill

Laker “haters” just want what we have.

    Just embarrassing yourselves.

I’m rooting for some of you to get a few more notches on your belts so you can start acting like you’ve been there before instead of acting like an opposing cheerleader.

anderson silva one of the greatets ufc fighters of all time was reminded of a lesson I teach all of my students. This is a lesson every martial artist should know and remember.

No matter how good a fighter you are, anybody can be hit & hurt.

I do expect himt o come back in a rematch and win though.

90% of Laker fans are ELATED Howard didn’t resign.

90% of ALL basketball fans outside of Houston think this guy is a clown.

He should’ve stayed his arsse in Orlando if you want to talk about what was best for him.

Silva learned (hopefully) to stop fvckin around in the octagon and fight your competitor. He was making a mockery of the sport, and he got exactly what he deserved from it.

kobe was funny too, left at the later by dwight.

Kobe must realize that his antics off the floor and cancerous attitude in the locker room now clearly out weigh is declining skills.

people dont want to play with him, and dont want to put up with him.

This is why kobe was never one of my favorite players.

i mean how many chips would kobe have won if he didnt chase off guys like shaq and dwight?

    =======================

Im going to stop short of the “mockery of the sport” angle

Silva has a flamboyant showman type style always has. We ave seen this from many mma guys and boxers as well.

Is mayweather making a “mockery” of boxing?

what about Ali, or Sugar ray Robinson?

No I just think at 38 your reflexes are not as sharp, and he didnt respect his opponents stand up game.

He got caught like many fighters that play that risky game do near the ends of their careers.

I do think he is good enough still to win a rematch, but he must cut down the showman game, as he isnt as quick as he once was.

    Guys like Shaq and Howard???

    None.

Lakers weren’t winning a ring with Howard and Kobe. Cmon, man.

Shaq was done winning rings in LA. He wasn’t serious about anything but having a good time. Shaq lost his Laker clout when he decided to wait to get his toe fixed because he wanted to have a good summer.

That was a travesty, a fvcking travesty to pay 45 bucks to have that clown get knocked the fvck out for acting like a punk. BOOM!! How you kie me know b!tch?

The other fights were all pretty good though.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

more alarming for silva, besides his clearly evident slowed reflexes, was the fact that he wasnt hit all that hard to begin with.

The shots he took while on his back must have really hurt him earlier in the match.

More so than that, the shots he has taken over a very long career as a fighter seem to have caught up to him.

he doesnt have long left i the ring if you ask me.

His whiskers are looking a bit thin. If he wants o continue fighting he will need to adapt his style to be much more technically sound in the fundamentals of defense

  • M.Shorter

Come on! someone please tell me how Howard is the best C????

If you cant the STFU about him then!

  • jesusraiderjim

Yeah the sport is fine, he(Silva) just made himself look stupid!! What a shot he got pounded with after he went down too. Bounced his head right off the canvas.

  • bcz24

No I just think at 38 your reflexes are not as sharp, and he didnt respect his opponents stand up game.

He got caught like many fighters that play that risky game do near the ends of their careers.
    ***************
He was walking around the ring with his hands down around his waist for the whole fight, begging his opponent to hit him, and on multiple occasions (including when he was knocked out) feigning being wobbly. He got what he deserved. He got knocked out by a fighter who was only fighting his 10th fight and probably had no business even being in the octagon with Silva. I say acting like that in the ring is making a mockery of the sport, you are disrespecting your opponent and every person who paid to watch you fight.

  • J Hill

On another note, another example of Willie and Joes vs Xs and Os.

Mattingly a genius all of a sudden???

shaq and howard couldnt get along with kobe both left prematurely due to this

its debatable what would have happened if they stayed longer

kobe is a locker room killer

Is Spoelstra the best coach in the NBA coming off back to back rings?

  • bcz24

    *********
I agree. You see it from all the greats. Liddell, Fedor, Couture… all the best. They go from 1 fight dominating their opponent, to the next not even competing. Silva is VERY technically sound, but his last 4-5 fights have been jokes that he clearly hasn’t taken seriously. If he want’s to be on top again, he will have to go back to when he was a hungry young man and would let nothing get in his way of the championship. I still think he has enough physically left in the tank to regain his title, but he certainly shouldn’t be called the best in the biz anymore.

  • RaiderRockstar

we also needs players to step up at guard, rb, wr and te (on offense) since Carlisle, Goodson, Heyward-Bey & Myers were not retained

Humilty and respect usually come from age, just like wisdom.

  • guest123

I don’t have a problem with the showmanship of Muhhamad Ali or Floyd Mayweather. To quote Ali, “it’s not bragging if you can back it up”.

If Ali would have gotten KO’d while rope-a-doping some clown opponent, you bet he’d be laughed at and criticized for making a mockery of the sport.

It’s all in the execution. Don’t mock your opponent if you aren’t dead sure you can take him down.

LOL @ Anderson Silva for embarrasing himself like that.

if you paid to watch silva then you should be aware that has always been his style

if you knew this about him before paying than you may have disrespected yourself.

Its combat sport, like boxing and many many fighter have employed similar antics in the ring

even fighter that keep their hand up at all times are at risk of being knocked out at any time and by any one

silva didnt do anything he hasnt done his whole career

he will need to adjust his game if wants to keep fighting though, at 38 he cant get away with it like he once did

    —————————————————————————-

    That’s babble, man.

    Alpha personality, of course.

No different than Jordan and his antics with the Bulls.

As fo Shaq, certainly debatable. But look at the other issues. Shaq wanted how much $. Horry, Harper, Fox were old. Would have been no $ to replace them or upgrade the surrounding talent. Jerry West had already left because Buss Sr nixed the Richmond trade.

It was over for the that Laker team. They weren’t winning anything.

  • RaiderRockstar

    by the way, Jhill.

Carmelo Anthony clashed with Mike D’Antoni in New York

part of the reason he resigned as coach last March!

no LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony for LA next offseason. sorry.

Maybe you can re-sign all those old scrubs to lesser contracts and lure a Josh Smith/Andre Iguodala type player (you know, second tier free agent)

  • guest123

Silva is clearly into the Mike Tyson stage 2 of his career. All the memories of his younger fights are distant and fading. Looks mortal now and even if he wins again, his fights won’t have the excitement of his younger years. forks almost dry.
