NFL Supplemental Draft coming up

By Steve Corkran
Monday, July 8th, 2013 at 10:49 am in Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders landed quarterback Terrelle Pryor in the supplemental draft in 2011. The Cleveland Browns scored a direct hit in the supplemental draft with wide receiver Josh Gordon last year. On Thursday, we’ll find out whether the Raiders or any other teams jumps at the players available in this year’s proceeding.
Teams that select a player in the supplemental draft forfeit a draft pick in the following regular draft in the corresponding round.
For example, the Raiders selected Pryor in the third round of the supplemental draft. Therefore, they surrendered their third-round pick in the 2012 NFL regular draft.
Here’s a list of the six players eligible for selection in this year’s supplemental draft:
UN-Las Vegas defensive end James Boyd, Central Florida defensive end Toby Jackson, UNLV defensive tackle Nate Holloway, University of Houston wide receiver DeWayne Peace, Purdue receiver O.J. Ross and South Alabama defensive back Damond Smith.

Some of you deadbeats who talk racism all day every day are really killing this blog, I really wish you would find another blog to spew the senseless garbage nobody gives a ratz a$$ about and just go away for good. Nobody cares about your dumba$$ opinions about race.

Not sure how acquiring the weapon has to so with someone being in fear for their life and standing their ground.

  • Just Fire Baby

It has to be a legal weapon.

Not sure why that is vague to you.

Zimmerman had THE RIGHT to arm himself. He paid the dues, didn’t have any felonies, and went to whatever class Florida requires to EARN that right.

Life, liberty and property (not happiness), those are the inalienable rights by virtue of our humanity.
Unfortunately, one has to risk their life to keep them. Predators are always and everywhere.
Or, as Bill Shakespeare said, “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
