    Yeah… because never in the history of human kind has a man beat the crap out of another man who weighed 20lbs more than him…
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    Who started the fight? Who followed whom? Who didn’t listen to the 911 dispatcher? Who was the copwanabe. Your’e telling me GZ couldn’t have handled Martin. He freaked out and went for the gun.

    Sad but true.
    If you kill someone in self defense, we have created a situation where not telling anyone it was you is always the best option, if possible.
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    Now that all supposition that GZ was acting in self defense. Maybe he started the fight. Maybe he went for his gun,,O,,I mean his cell phone and Martin freaked out.
    ==============
    I get what your saying, but my point on that comment was, was in reference to RRS comment about how Zim will pay for this for the rest of his life.

    Sadly, it’s a well known fact that if someone breaks in your house, and you shoot him? He can now come back and sue you, and very likely win, and pretty much now own the house he was breaking into.

    You will see many comments from different sources that say inside your house, shoot to kill.

    That’s rather disturbing, but true. Not saying I agree with the statement, but it has merit.

    If someone decided to stalk Zimmerman, get their a$$ kicked by him, and then shoot him in “self defense” I hope they get to walk free too.

    It’d be difficult to get you a$$ kicked by someone who couldn’t handle an 11th grader.

  • rediaR

    Oh wait, no I don’t. They should be charged too. If you look for trouble and find it, it’s your own fault. No sympathy for Zim should be had.

  • SnBG

    Martin was on top of Zim, correct?
    Weight has nothing to do with punching power, or the ability to fight.
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    BS, all he had to do was overpower him.

  • inonewordraider

    Floored the guy is not attacking the guy.
    If RRS kept coming? Jumped on top of him? Pounding his head on the pavement or continued to pummel the guy?

    What would you do? Allow yourself to possibly be beat to death, because the attacker wouldn’t stop, or do you use self defense?
    ______________
    the expert witness said the zimmermans wounds were minor that no way was he beaten as brutally as he claimed he was

    also you’re damn right I wouldn’t shoot anybody that was beating me up. it’s happened to me one on one twice and I’ve been beaten by multiple people more than once and NO WAY would I have shot them if I had a gun

    you take your lumps, dust yourself off and walk away. and I’ve never started a fight so the others started it. I can’t believe you “raider fans” think it’s wrong for trayvon to beat a guy up who was stalking him

    This is what’s wrong with the culture of America. Our country values victims over victors. It enshrines passivity over direct action to preempt or thwart criminal activity. It excuses the acts of teenaged thugs, revising history to absolve them of blame for their petty crimes, while pillorying good citizens who dare to defend themselves with legally permitted arms.

    That’s a blanket statement that doesn’t aply to this situation. The 911 dispatcher told him he didn’t have to follow Martin. His work was done but the idiot couldn’t leave it there. He had to pretend to be Clint Eastwood.

  • willy91137

    let’s face it both of these guys aren’t the brightest bulb in the room

    the person that knew anything about that case was George Zimmerman

    T Martin should have went straight home but there’s no eyewitnesses

    they had to find him guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt and some of the jurors

    had their doubts because of the stand your ground LAW the judge explained that to them that George had the right to fire his weapon because he felt threatened

    One most recently was when I was reading up on slugs to get for my shotgun.(no, I’m not going to go look now, but maybe later, if in the mood)
    The discussion was for home defense. Where the slug size would either stop an intruder, or kill the intruder. (obvious other concerns was OO size going through walls, but that’s another story)
    do a search.

    What is it you don’t buy?
    That people have been sued, and lost everything, to an intruder that was shot in their home?
    That’s well documented.

    then have to go thru all the legal proceedings and hope your lawyer is better than the other guys? leaves a lot to chance and I don’t really see justice in it
