    Don’t think I’ve called someone a troll.

    Seems weak to me.

A guy like oakfashow? Sure. He is here only to cause trouble.

I’m called a troll simply cuz people don’t like my opinions or jokes.

    Immediately the “troll” talk.

Also, everyone likes to accuse others of cross posting.

It definitely happens and it’s usually obvious. A rarely if ever seen alias.

I’ve been accused of being MR (ofcourse), Seymour, mcf20, many others.

    Oh well.

  • dplunk

I don’t know the precedent, or how realistic it is to expect a rookie o-linemen to come in basically at the close of camp to contribute right away. especially a rookie that’s basically “green to American football all together.

East – To be fair, those people who fck with others for the hell of it, are the same people that get attacked by multiple people at a times and called names. That person being attack, then reverts to treating people that way in order to survive the onslaught of having a different opinion, that the majority group doesn’t like. Then those people grab their pitch forks and fire and try to burn that person down.

If that opinionated person is strong, he will fight back and survive but will then be labeled as a troll.

    Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.
    ——

True, what can I say, I’m guilty as well.

Al will always be the raiders and the DJ pick was tribute to that! No future if you forget your past

You are called a troll becuz you like to fck with Pryor brigade(you told me this) while hyping Flynn like he is Aaron Rodgers.

  • the famous dr robert

    RaiderO–exactly how am I a troll?

U don’t like my opinions? I’ve made jokes about people that burn their little britches?

I talk football. Very well too.

If people attack me, I have responded.

If they talk football or leave me alone, I do the same.

pretty convinced that no matter what transpires v bears, Flynn will start v indy and pryor will be get playing time ala 9ers with smith and kaepernick

now if both play equally versus the bears say two quarters each, that changes everything

  • The Big Banana

It’s simple. Trolls are looking for attention. They post insults and buzz words just for a response. They’re usually the ones with numerous posts.

Trolls want/need attention to make up for the lack thereof in their personal lives.

Did Mistic seriously just have a huge post about racism again? For the love of God people!

Pryor isn’t a good QB but he’s a great athlete! This puts the “toy” label on Pryor because he can do a lot of things well but not one specific thing great! The team wants to try and capitalize and take advantage of some of the things he can do. The problem is they don’t completely trust his decision making. Sure, he’s ultra talented.

The guy is more physically gifted than Flynn but Pryor still makes poor mistakes, doesn’t throw the ball consistently well. He isn’t running the offense the way the coaches want him to. If you can’t do that, you’re not going to start, period!

Flynn is running the system the way the coaches want it run. He might be considered a “Game Manager” but the coaching staff feels more comfortable having a guy like that over one who takes too many risks. This team cannot afford risks, so they are trying to minimize that by started Flynn.

Because u talk like a nazi.

U feel blacks are better than whites.

U subscribe to “turnabout is fair play”, whereas I believe “two wrongs don’t make a right”.

U just end up acting like the people u hate. That’s what hate does. Destroys u.

I’ve always admired the black community. Abused and mistreated, they embraced faith and rose above it. They were better than their abusers.

Always a shame to see them give in to bitterness.

It’s hard to do the right thing and its understandable In a way.

I don’t see that happening though. I think Flynn plays well into the 3rd qtr. Pryor finishes the 3rd, and McGloin gets all the 4th.

  • the famous dr robert

There are people who read way too much into everything when it’s actually simple.

They see conspiracies. Racism. Secret agendas. Weird scenarios.

    When it’s just plain.

Pryor is a poor passer. That’s all. The coaches see it. Most people do.

    Some don’t.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

does big macks status get a boost on friday night?

So far of his top 4 picks only one has actually looked like a decent player. Sio moore. the guy looks like a high energy tackler and flys around the field. He does not look like a star by any means but clearly an upgrade over what we have watched at linebacker since romo and those guys left.

Dj hayden whom i believe is the best db in this calls and does have star potential hasnt been on the field yet, neither has watson

Add that with the fact the tyler wilson (media and blogtard anointed) raider franchise qb in waiting has flopped and fallen flat on his face and may not even make the team.

The second half of the draft did produce butler and he looks like he can contribute, and at the very least be a solid player. Again i dont see him as a star in the making either.

I would have to grade big macks draft a bust so far.

of course this all changes if hayden can make the impact i think he can and stay healthy.

i also anticipate watson seeing he field at times this year, but his true value will be known next year, as he missed so much time with injury.

    we will see

  • Plunketthead

From the PC homos at pft
Offensive coordinator Greg Olson said that the team wasn’t able to fully install the power blocking scheme they had in mind for the running game this season before Veldheer was injured and that the final two preseason games will tell them if they’ll be able to make full use of it once the season gets underway.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It sure looked to me like a lot of ZBS last week and this confirms it.
DA//Olsen have been sandbagging trying to salvage Mcrickywilliams.

@BWilliamsonESPN: #Raiders Huge that Ray Guy is a Senior Committee HOF nominee. They usually make it. He’d be first punter in Canton. Well deserved.
    ——————————————————
though I remember Ray Guy vividly: I was fairly young at the time, and didn’t really appreciate just how valuable he was to the Raiders, and just how much affect that Punters had on the game in general. I wish that I had savored each moment I saw him, and bottled the memories of him the way that I remembered his teamates, and the games that he played in during that time.

    __________________________________________________

Really, everyday you come on this site nit-picking at words that are used by whites and going back to their historical references. Pryor isn’t playing b/c Olsen and DA are racists?

Pretty sure your wave of the future argument breaks down to that these QBs are genetically superior to their white counter-parts. Very Nazi like…and the word you used to describe them were used to describe the Nazis.

Can you talk football without bringing Race into the issue for once?

  • 24

    Perfect example!

If this coaching staff is racist, then why did they trade Carson Palmer for Matt Flynn?

    #1 – Turnovers
    #2 – Salary

Palmer had a tendency to take too many risks outside the system. He consistently threw interceptions at the end of the game or in crucial moments. To add to this, his salary was also very high. Now, if he wasn’t making those mistakes and we were winning games, his salary would be justified but he continuously proved that he wasn’t a winner.

So…the team sent him on his way in order to get a guy who would protect the ball and run their offensive system as intended.

In other words, if they were truly racists, then why trade Carson Palmer away?

Your racism point has expired and is now invalid.

  • als hiemer

Then I will embrace it fully. A white guy, a black guy and a mexican guy walk into a bar. Oh never mind I’m not here to feed the machine!

  • 24

East – It’s true though…Steve Young wasn’t a good QB either. Young developed into one. Sure, Pryor should be given a chance to develop but there’s also no guarantee that he will become Young either.

In the present time, this coaching staff doesn’t want to take the risk.

Also, Young was surrounded by an amazing cast of football players. He was under one of the greatest coaches ever and learning under a HOF QB. To think that Pryor has the same thing going for him is crazy!

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Pretty bizzare huh?
But we’re sure seen it before.

Watson has just three semesters playing this game at the college level with one of those being at a community college.

The guy’s knowledge of the game goes all the way back to…..2011.
The guy certainly has talents: size, athletic ability, quick feet.
But his quick feet are because he’s been playing soccer all his life and had no clue about football.

Yet somehow some people posting expect him to be Art Shell immediately.

As I said on draft day, Watson is one big azz gamble.
You can read scouting reports that say that sometimes he doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing out there.

He may turn out to be great and I hope so, it would be a great idea to make the entire OL Brits, but give the guy a break, he’s a gamble and a project.

    He’s Bruce Campbell re-visited.

  • papertiger418

Mike Mayock and Jay Glazer were really high on Watson, for what it’s worth. They both conceded he was something of a gamble, though.

  • raideralex99

You know every QB in every camp can throw and run plays even the 5th stringers.
The problem is using your brains!. How fast can you process the defence and find your open man …. that’s what a QBs job is and that’s what separates the men from the boys.

  • Bigmike34

    Pryor’s QB rating Last pre-season game 39.6
Pryors last (only) Game regular Season that he started ….70.8

Flynn QB rating in last Pre-Season game..117
Flynn QB rating in last in last regular season game he started…136.4%….The only other regular season game Flynn started 100.2

No matter how you evaluate their numbers Pryor loses and he loses BIG on Completion Percentage..

  • Bigmike34

24 Pryor has had the full summer to show his stuff…when the pre-season started …both he and Flynn were in a competition…Pryor has failed miserably…

This is Pryor’s 2ond year with the Raiders he has had time to learn and show his stuff….He has not shown enough to be the starter…As far as I am concerned he has not shown enough…Period

The season is about to start we have this next pre-season game coming up and Pryor and Flynn have both splitting REPS getting ready for the game….It is not like Pryor has been ignored…

Eventually The coaches have to declare a starter and that will be after this next pre-Season game….WHAT MORE DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO DO FOR PRYOR…He has had his chances and will have this one last chance….

It seems to me appropriate that he is wearing Ja Markus Russell’s Number.

Ravens Webb raised his level of play to the point that many Ravens fans were upset he was given a Pro Bowl invitation. Not a single passing touchdown was put on the board all season by the players he was covering and he led the team in interceptions, highlighted by a pick-six against the New York Jets and a sweet, athletic interception of New England Patriots QB Tom Brady in the AFC Championship Game. That doesn’t matter?
