Raiders looking at a kicker

Raiders coach Dennis Allen made no mention of it during his injury rundown with the media, but place kicker Sebastian Janikowski came out late to practice wearing a ball cap while Chris Kluwe was attempting field goals.

After practice, members of the personnel staff were working out a left-footed place kicker the far field. Janikowski was forced back into a 36-24 loss to the Chicago Bears after Eddy Carmona was injured (he was later waived/injured). Janikowski kicked a 30-yard field goal in the third quarter.

    Lmao!!!!

watched the pryor highlight reel td run from the last game, and the bears broadcast was interviewing julious peppers as the play happens.

You see peppers begin to stutter while hypnotized by pryors matrix like escape skill until he falls completely silent mid word. then a look of pure disbelief washes across his face and he can only shake his head still unable to process what he just saw, trying to deny his eyes input.

the screen flashes back to pryor on the bench and team mates are walking up clearly excited and congratulating him, feeding off his dynamic leadership, and in creeps matt flynn

he slinks within a couple of feet of pryor sitys on his own helmet beneath pryor and forces a sheepish and fragile smile. The look that a boxer gives after waking up from a k o as he shakes the hand of the winner while sitting on his stool.

    priceless
    ————
Almost as priceless as all your crying like a little girl on how DA and Reg were mistreating TP.
And definitely as priceless as the excuses you will be making when the inevitable faceplant that is about to happen with TP.

    Yeah, Flynn sucks.
    So does Pryor.

Just the facts, ma’am, just the facts.

  • elraidmanhattan

Either the Allen saying flynn is a starter was a ploy or he is just dumb! I am praying for the former

  • elraidmanhattan

249 sorry accuracy agreed, arm you know squat, please i beg you to watch the tape Pryor has an arm

  • DJ Johnny

he slinks within a couple of feet of pryor sitys on his own helmet beneath pryor and forces a sheepish and fragile smile.

I saw that “smile” as well. I felt bad for him. He knows it’s slipping away. That’s what 2 bad int’s and 0 pt’s in the “rehearsal” game will do for a guy.

  • elraidmanhattan

I am willing to bet…I don’t bet, with any fool here on Pryor being successful, i will back it up money wise, i will give actual email and challenge any naysayers

  • elraidmanhattan

DJ did you see the sidelines with the reaction after the scores?

No, not really. Just when Flynn came over to congratulate Pryor on one of em. What did you see?

I thought Tarver was some kind of astro-physicist or bio-chemist? How come a 6th grader can see our blitzes coming??
That is some weak azz shizzz needs to stop…

The last pre-season game is nothing but a dress rehearsal, you can only hope that no catastrophic injuries happen. Management needs to take a look at the last 20 or so cuts. But also needs to save a lot of face.
Watson’s trial by fire is a desperation move by the Mac Zar, he knows that a high second round should be ready to contribute. He has been criticized for picking a raw talent prospect in the second round, he needs to save face on this move.
DJ Hayden starting over Porter is also another desperation move because I’m sure Junior and Mac Zar saw what we all did with Porter, who should be cut by Sunday, so DJ has to go in with very little practice and with a high risk of getting re-injured also because the Mac Zar has been criticized for taking an injured player in the first round.
Matty Flynch sore elbow and tendinitis, this is where it gets crazy. Some say that Junior and the Mac Zar are throwing Pryor into the wolves so he gets trashed then they can say “see he is not ready.” But maybe the elbow injury is just the excuse the Mac Zar needed to also save face in the Matty Flynch fiasco.
Tyler Wilson the forgotten savior, what’s to become of him? The usual Pryor haters had Tyler beating out TP out, switching TP to TE, but even management seems to have lost faith in Wilson, at the very least nothing at all has been seen on Wilson. I remember on draft day, with Corky leading the cheers on Wilson, now even Corky doeasn’t mention him. What does the Big Mac Zar do to save face on the Wislon fiasco?
The main obstacle to Raiders success is management incompetency.

Starters take a few snaps and sit.

If Pryor plays more than a series or two Flynn is our starter….until Mark steps in and hires Saunders as HC.

  • Reggie Fangaz

Let Flynn start the season. It’s what he was brought here to do. When they boo him out of the game or when he gets injured, Pryor will take over and won’t look back. It’s is and should be the professional order of things. Realistically, it usually takes years for a qb to develop and folks that know football know THAT. With that said, it would be great if Al’s last pick turned it all around for RaiderNation.

261: I haven’t heard a single professional, as in pro football analysis, ex-coach or players who agree with you. EVERYONE with even minor knowledge of the game of NFL football are saying Pryor should be the Raiders staring QB. Why waste time with a very limited back-up type (Flynn) when you don’t have too.

We need to know now what we need next year! also see what we have 3 and out’s shows you nothing! Go Raiders!
