Raiders add offensive lineman

By Steve Corkran
Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 at 11:53 am in Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders signed offensive lineman Jack Cornell on Wednesday and assigned him to their practice squad.
Cornell was on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad last season. He fills the vacancy created by the Raiders signing offensive lineman Matt McCants to their 53-man roster Saturday.

Wondering how good Pryor has to be for the Raiders to NOT try and draft Teddy Bridgewater.

If Pryor is good to great, obviously he’s the future.

If he’s average or slightly below average, do you HOPE he improves? Or do you draft the guy with better mechanics and accuracy?

    Nice…
He was the highest rated nobody I’ve never heard of…

    Lol

The only way Pryor can equate RR’s Cunningham analogy is for him to average less than 26 yards a game rushing for the rest of the season.

    Yup… THATS LIKELY!

did not the Ravens cut an O line man that started every game last year? Thought I heard that around here yesterday.

Raiders will do what it takes to solidify the QB position for the future…If Pryor is average or slightly below average this season, Raiders will draft Teddy Bridgewater and have them compete for the starting job. At the end of the day, we’ll have a QB1-QB2 punch, as both having similar playing styles.

Can you imagine a scheme for TP/TB duo QB threat? …we’ll see :)
