Moore says he’s OK after auto accident

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 at 6:44 pm in Oakland Raiders.

Raiders linebacker Sio Moore was with the team when it arrived in Denver after being involved in an auto accident Saturday morning and being diagnosed with a concussion.

Moore was added to the injury report and listed “questionable’’ to face the Broncos Monday night at Sports Authority Field.

On his Twitter account, Moore said, “Talk about a scary morning man. Just thank God I’m safe and made it safely to CO.’’

Then he tweeted: “100 percent I’ll be in black with my squad.’’

The Raiders were disclosing no details regarding the accident.

Moore must go through the NFL concussion protocol, passing a battery of mental tests, to be cleared for action Monday night.

    Hahahahahahahaha.

    Suck it Pittsturd.

    I like Hundley from UCLA.

That’s what I want my QB’s to look like.

Just a big ‘ol ox that has “port power” and doesn’t need to lift weights.

I don’t want QB’s like Kap and Bob, they look like runway models to me.

All legs, no torso, nice, toned arms.

Are you googling shirtless Brady Quinn pictures right now?

  • Just Fire Baby

    Physical confidence.

    Pryor has it. Gabbert doesn’t.

And they are almost the identical size.

You just saw it from Cutler crashing into that guy.

    Bridgewater is too lithe, IMO.

  • DJ Johnny

0-3. Where are all those Terrible Towells?

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha.

    Eat it.

  • Crawfish Joe

Al Michaels just said the blocked PAT was irrelevant. That’s not true. What could have been a 18 point lead is now a 17 point lead. Game is not over. Don’t be irrelevant there Michaels.

  • Just Fire Baby

I bet you google imaged Terry McDaniel

I doubt cutler becomes a FA. It’s more cost effective to draft a good QB, but its a huge gamble. The majority of 1st round QBs don’t make it.

  • RaiderRetribution

Bridgewater will be a good QB in the NFL; he is a passer than can make every NFL throw.

I would pit him in the Rivers, Stafford class of QBs, don’t know if he will be a winner or not.

  • rediaR

Bridgewater is smart and can make all of the throws at a high level of proficiency. I’ll take that over glistening biceps any day.

I’m drinking kool-aid spiked with 9.2% IPA. Raiders are going to shock the world tomorrow night.

Michaels finally mentions Trestmann’s Oakland connection.

A lot of good teams with losing records:

    Green Bay
    San Francisco
    Atlanta
    Minnesota

Teams that were expected to be better, but…:

    Pittsburgh
    Washington
    New York
    Philadelphia

Your team is what your record says you are.

  • http://www.Raiders.com KoolKell

Raiders currently #8 in Time of Posession.

That should help. If they can score TD’s.

Seriously, what is up with the niners?

Outscored 56-10 in last two games sitting at 1-2.

    What happened to them?

He deserves to be kicked in the balls.

G’evening fellas. DJ, Vegas, Raider O…

There, Al Michaels finally mentioned Trestman and his Oakland connections. Everybody happy,Happy, Happy?

You guys are right about one thing, though. For whatever reason, Al Michaels the onetime voice of the Cincinnati Reds and Mr. “Do you believe in miracles?” sure did hate him some Al Davis. Not sure why.

I remember one time the Monday Night cameras panned to Mr. Davis’ booth, as they always did…and Michaels’ two word commentary was: “Captain Queeg”…

  • Just Fire Baby

And the NFC was supposed to be the superior conference.

I wonder if someone got in his ear about the Raider diss.

  • Just Fire Baby

Al Michaels was always way, way better at baseball, IMO.

Just feels like a big game when him or Costas or McCarver called a game.

I don’t get the feeling with him and Collinsworth that I am watching a big sporting moment.

  • MiamiRaider78

If our defense plays really well throughout the entire season, there will be that likelihood of Tarver getting offers to coach elsewhere. That would suck if he were to leave!

Hey Buckeye. There’s a story about Al saying something about Michaels wife or something. Al (Davis) accused Michaels of cheating on her or something.

I can’t recall all the details of it but one documented story is Michael’s coming out of a restaurant and some fan yelled “What do u think of Raiders chances this year”? Michaels responded: “As long as Al Davis is alive the Raiders will never win a SB”. True story.

Michaeal’s tried to explain himself later saying it didn’t go down that way.

  • Raider Riff

Costas, Michaels, and Stu Scott are the 3 worst ever.

    Bunch of dweebs.

    I hate them.

    Go Raiders. Fvck Denver.

  • Just Fire Baby

FRank Gore reportedly mad at Harbaugh after that game.

I was calling for this this offseason, you saw it with the Jets last two years.

You can’t just be over the top 110% of the time and expect people not to tune you out after a few years.

  • Just Fire Baby

    Stu Scott?

He’s a sports anchor, that is like comparing a bank teller to an investment advisor.

Costas is a major dweeb, but it feels big when he calls a game, even if you don’t like him.

  • DJ Johnny

But how did SF get this bad this fast?

I thought last wk was a fluke, and it was Seattle…a very tough team but losing 27-7 to Indy?

Pryor is playing better than Kaepernick this yr.

  • Just Fire Baby

Kap has 0 TD’s and 6 turnovers the last two games, less than 50% completion and what 10 points in two games?

There isn’t a QB on the planet playing worse than him right now.

  • DJ Johnny

Was Seattle a 20 pt favorite today?

First team to beat the spread while giving that many points.

  • Just Fire Baby

    Yup, Seattle covered.

I don’t think the Jags will be under a 5 point dog all year.

Bigger question, will we be favored over the Skins?

I think if we lose by 30 tomorrow, we still might be.

  • DJ Johnny

After todays game the always overhyped “genius” Jeff Fisher can take solace by going home and counting his SB trophies.

    Wait…no SB trophies?

I acknowledge he’s a good coach, I just think he’s always been way overhyped.

  • Buckeyeraider

Yeah, and speaking of broadcasters, journalists and overall douches and such. How about good ol’e Kawakami. Not exactly looking like Nostradomus in the early going is he?

I understand it’s a columnist’s goal to stir up a lil controversy and emotion to generate a response amongst his readers. I mean the guy already had a reputation as a world class Raider Hater. Why stick his thumb in the Nation’s eye and try and kick them when they were down, with his preseason column: “King of the World 49′ers ready for another Super Bowl run while Oakland are once again a bunch of bottom dwelling, dregs of society Losers” piece? Does the guy just love hate mail and possible death threats. LOL.

Yes. it’s still early but if the Raiders can pull off an impressive upset tomorrow night, he’ll be looking pretty silly.

The Whiners aren’t looking anything like world beaters right now. Embarrassing DUI’s and rehab. Getting Prison r@ped by their division rival on national TV. Only to return home to get manhandled by the Colts.

A Colts team that Oakland played much tougher, by the way…in their own home. Shoulda beat ‘em. SMH. Raiders team is looking pretty scrappy. Even getting a lil National love. Saw Bill Polian on that Insiders show say the Oakland’s defense ain’t no joke.

If, and it’s a big if…they can upset that Donkey juggernaut..we’ll see who’s Boss of the Bay.

    Screw that smoke potter!

  • willy91137

I thought maybe the 49ers would tank this year Cap is not as good as good as they think he is
that defense looks like they think they can throw their hat on the field and we got it

well they found out tonight that’s not the case

  • DJ Johnny

    Agree Buckeye.

I wish Herrera would beat his arse.

I remember when Al kept saying “Who”?…”Who”? when Kawakami identified himself at one of Al’s last pressers.

  • DJ Johnny

I have not allowed myself to be optimistic about winning tom night.

It would be such a huge and massive upset but just too good to be true imo.

I hope we give em a good fight.

If we win? It would be the best thing to happen for us in a loooong time.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but dang….this is a very tall task.

  • willy91137

And San Diego got their a$$ handed to tham how sweet that was

there’s not much difference between the very best team and the very worst team

except Jacksonville will have to make exception they are not an NFL team

and if anybody thought they were going draft Bridgewater forget it he’s going to Jacksonville

the Browns will have two first-round picks 3 second round picks they can move up
and make Jacksonville a lot better team there trying to trade to of their wide receivers off to get more pics that are going to draft a new team

If we get demolished and its due to Pryor like I think, if he remains the starter, we will be getting 3.

The worm turns quickly in the nfl.

Espn is calling the giants “not underachievers, just one if the worst teams in the nfl”.

This “excitement” supposedly generated by Pryor in game 1 (an awful TWO endzone pick LOSS) has already started to diminish, as people realize he’s not a good passer (duh).

If he buries us tomorrow with turnovers, poor passing, and bonehead decisions (as I predict), people will quickly start wondering if this is such a great idea when u have a highly accurate passer on the bench that u brought in to start.

The Cleveland Browns will be a big player in next years draft they will keep getting rid of players

and drafting new one and they are still going cumulative more pics

that GM is really aggressive just like Reggie he tells the sounds we will compete

    and today they did

  • Buckeyeraider

Before this season started I was looking at 5 or 6 wins and hopefully modest signs of improvement. Laying a bit of foundation for 2014 and all that cap room. Just be competitive, Baby!

But after seeing the way this team is scrapping and then all of a sudden those NFC East games not seeming so daunting…NYG, Wash and Philly look horrrrrrible. Those suddenly appear to be winnable games. The Jets? Pitt and Tenn in Oaktown. At worst a split w/ KC and SD…And suddenly 8, 9 or even 10 don’t seem out of the realm of possibility. And then…

Cue Jim Mora: “Playoffs? Are we talking about Playoffs?”

But, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Denver is going to be a monumental challenge. But at least we have hope. Don’t wanna jinx anybody, but I’m starting to have a good feeling about this.

I think the team is to. They ain’t scared.

When GB loses domestic violence goes up by 40 % in the state of Wisconsin on days when the Packers lose.

    True stat.

To these people the Packers are literally their identity as human beings.

You think WE take all this stuff seriously?

They did a list of the most beloved people in Wisconsin and it goes:

    1-Jesus
    2-Aaron Rodgers
    3-Vince Lombardi
