I wonder what kind of testing is required in the concussion protocol

  • Theghostronin79

    LOL….Right?….

  • Jayhawk_Raider

As far as I know, the concussion protocol is basically a remembering test of images that you have previously seen.

  • The_Judge37

I wonder how many NFL players are actually fine, but fail the concussion tests out of stupidity?

  • Jayhawk_Raider

    new post ghost!

If that were the case, Pryor would have started his career with a concussion :-)

Seriously, they take a baseline test per player when they are in a (hopefully) non-concussed state. They compare their reactions in the test to that baseline.

My daughter’s boyfriend is a freshman college pitcher and just had his baseline taken. If they are doing it at that level, you know it’s already happened in the pros.

  • Zymurge

Flynn’s throw to Reece looked better than 90% of Pryor’s passes. He threaded the needle and hit him in stride running away from him. That’s a hard through to make! Even harder considering that he hadn’t played at all for the past 4 weeks.

If his army is healthy as reported, he’s going to make people realize what Pryor can’t do. I’m not talking about throwing Stafford like heat, but in his decisions and accuracy. I’m definitely hoping this turns into a QB controversy.

  • Zymurge

Pryor made a crappy throw on the play before. He had a soft zone with Butler running a post into a huge void. All he needed to do was put the ball in front of him and runs at least 4 or 5 more yards before the safety gets to him. Instead he throw it low and not enough in front, forcing Butler to make a sliding catch. A decent throw there would’ve made the FG attempt feasible.

    Right. Nevermind…. lol.
