Terrelle Pryor was declared inactive Sunday six days after sustaining a concussion against the Denver Broncos.
The announcement ended a week of speculation about whether Pryor would be cleared medically and resume his role as the starting quarterback, or if Matt Flynn would start against the Washington Redskins.
Pryor was cleared to play against Washington Friday, Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. But the Raiders coach also said he wanted Pryor to pass one more team-mandated test.
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Pryor began to experience some concussion systems Saturday night, with Allen then opting for Flynn against Washington.
Other inactives were safety Tyvon Branch, tackle Menelik WAtson, guard Antoine McClain, guard Lucas Nix, wide receiver Juron Criner and defensive end Jason Hunter.
