Raiders-Chargers gametime still up in the air

ALAMEDA – The Raiders know the day they are playing the San Diego Chargers this week. Now it’s a matter of finding out the starting time.
The holdup is over what time the A’s play their second playoff game at the Coliseum, on Saturday.
If the start time is in the late afternoon or evening, converting the Coliseum from a baseball configuration to a baseball one by Sunday at 1 p.m. poses logistical problems.
Raiders coach Dennis Allen said he was told that the Raiders will know the starting time for their game as soon as today and as late as Wednesday.
The field conversion time takes as long as 18 hours. If there isn’t enough time, the NFL intends to move the Raiders-Chargers game to Sunday night.

Then you attack the scouts. You really “think” the scouts had ANY say in signing Flynn? Excuse me…who was in charge of that in GB? Mind explaining?

    what a disappointment, thought’d he’d be a star.

I can tell your confused I’m confused on what your asking

  • 10centsworth

He is. When they tell him to run deep, its 5 yards.

  • 10centsworth

Ok. Rather convoluted thinking giving us an example of a back up that comes off the bench and does LESS than Flynn did coming off the bench in GB…ergo we should have him instead based on that. If your premise is skewed…the statement fails. Get it? You understand my comment about attacking the coaches? Hey, bud, I’m a Raider. You gonna attack one of us, better bring it. This reads like crap.

Let me explain again. When we let Palmer go we then had no QB. Mackenzie then made the deal for Flynn and drafted Wilson as well. He then brought in Mcgloin to compete in the mix. At that point it was a WIDE OPEN QB competion. If they would have brought in a guy like Hoyer his play would have spoke for itself. Get it now???

yada yada yada. Hey, I didn’t just wake up here. Ok. Patience. Your premise that based on what whoever did coming off the bench should influence good scouts/GMs. I just point out to you that based on what Flynn did when he came in off the bench…he sits YOUR guy down. Geez. Say what you want, root for who you want, but have some logic to it. OK?

  • 10centsworth

Wait. Logic? Raider fan? NEVER MIND.

Ok let’s see if you get this .. Flynn sucks. Reggie Mack made a mistake and whoever else was involved in bringing this guy in. I for one was giving this guy a chance . But after yesterday it’s clear that he has no business playing QB for us. He offers NOTHING. Much like the previous comments you made. Try raggin on somebody else who doesn’t know squat about football. Nice try now NEXT!!

  • 10centsworth

Amusing. What did you just say, BTW? Anything to rebut? Respond? Nah. Just feathers fluffed up and a very poor attempt at insult. Typical, but I’ll watch your degeneration. It’s inevitable.

  • 10centsworth

I think Flynn sucks too. I’d rather bury the guy with some dignity that read your contrived, ignorant fail at second guessing…that fails logically, as I’ve shown you. Or at least, you haven’t come up with any rebuttal as to HOW your thinking works AT THE TIME we picked up Flynn. You’re very logic says Flynn is better that your guy. That’s how muddied your thinking is. Bye.

CSNBA makes a good point – Pryor was cleared to play full contact *twice* by doctors (once on Friday and then again on Saturday) – and then suddenly it’s decided Sunday night that Flynn will start – yet there was no setback? Makes no sense.

This is after Flynn took most (if not all) 1st team snaps in practice. It all sounds a bit fishy – especially DA leaking the ‘visor’ story to Papa so he could spread on the radio call – Papa knew Flynn was going to play. The cover story was for DA would have an excuse if Flynn sucked and they lost. It makes DA look like a ‘good guy’ but with all the games he likes to play with the injury list and the insiders knowing that Flynn was going to start and it was a football decision, *not* a medical decision as DA continues to spew.

DA/RM wanted to get their guy in there, they did and he sucked. Now its all backpedal..

    What a joke..

Not out of the realm of possibility

I threw my headphones at the wall in my office. ANOTHER FREAKING CB! The most over-rated position in the NFL. Get to the QB and that will make your CBs probowlers.
