Raiders work out WR today, Kluwe gets tryout elsewhere

The Raiders worked out wide receiver Joe Adams on Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Post.
Adams, 23, appeared in nine games for the Carolina Panthers in 2012. He has not played in any games this season.
The Raiders just got back wide receiver Andre Holmes from a four-game suspension. They don’t have to make a roster move until Monday, though they have to do so by Saturday afternoon if they want Holmes to play the next day against the San Diego Chargers.
There is some speculation that the Raiders will release receiver Juron Criner because he hasn’t been active for any of Oakland’s first four games.
That doesn’t appear likely, though, because the Raiders still view Criner as a player that can help them at some point down the road, if not this season.
In other news, punter Chris Kluwe worked out for the Chicago Bears today. Kluwe signed with the Raiders this offseason and competed against Marquette King for the right to replace long-time punter Shane Lechler. King won the job, and Kluwe was released just before the regular season started.

Perfect hyena laugh. Showing u dont realize how bad of shape this org is in.

Depressing to me. But u LAUGH REAL LOUD.

I have killed u in all player evaluations.

Flynn is the best passer on this team. Now we are stuck with a likely 1-15 season.

    Keep laughing fool.

  • SnBG

Broncos line is ranked at 3 in the league.

  • the flynnatic dr robert

    Lol.

  • Al_istheRaiders

big deal……i care about seattle like i care about republicans.

  • Just Fire Baby

So no other QB knows how to F with the D-line? Flynn never changed the snap count and cadence and Washington was flying off the ball. At home no less!!!
I honestly think Pryor will be incorporating some of this by year end.

  • Just Fire Baby

Maybe he will bring it up in his HOF speech

  • MistaBrown

how many screen names do you have?

    I have 43

  • RealTruRaider

My my how the tables have turned, you a fkin fool and like Mistic has said numerous times….YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED!!!

  • Breaking_Black

Glad I kept my McGloin jersey.
    #movinonup

  • GimmieAMilk

Jacksonville…I’ll take Jones-Drew anyday over McFadden!

  • Just Fire Baby

And they have had like 9 different starters this year.
But I am sure those were just part of the 9 best O-lineman out there, they just happened to have them all.
    LOL

  • SnBG

With this lineup the Raids Oline was ranked 30 prior to the season.

    30. Oakland Raiders (4)

    2012 Run Block Rankings: 30, 29
    2012 Pass Block Rankings: 23, 4

    LT: Jared Veldheer
    LG: Lucas Nix*
    C: Stefen Wisniewski
    RG: Khalif Barnes
    RT: Menelik Watson*
    Super Sub: T/G Tony Bergstrom

  • RealTruRaider

This fool and Charlie don’t get it, you better off arguing with a wall

  • Al_istheRaiders

    pft…..

“Flynn’s free fall calls into question the wisdom of bumping Flynn’s guaranteed money from $2 million to $6.5 million.”

  • eastoaklandraider

For all you guys that say all you need is a good Qb and skill players, look at the best model of that, Peyton Manning led teams. He’s had the best talent around him all his career and with all that hype he’s managed to win just 1 SB, not enough. Look at Matt Ryan all those skill players around him and he still cant do jack in the playoffs, and I have news for you PEYTON OR RYAN WONT WIN SCHIT THIS YEAR EITHER!!!

  • SnBG

There’s no scapegoating here. Flynn just sucked. That’s all

  • GimmieAMilk

Barnes is still in there? WTF?

  • eastoaklandraider

Oline stats dont amount to schit.

  • RealTruRaider

It was a genius move…………who was saying that at the time we did that??? Come on confess, I see a couple of ya’ll on here.

  • Blackholepriest

Not only did TP beat him out a FA rookie beat him out, by week 4………..lol

  • Breaking_Black

    Totally agree.
Peyton Manning’s torching people during the regular season?
    What a surprise.

  • MistaBrown

4-0 doesn’t mean anything either not sure why they even keep score anymore

  • Just Fire Baby

Peyton chokes in the playoffs, and often lost to the better QB in the playoffs (Brady, Ben;he brought more to the table when he was younger, Brees).

  • GimmieAMilk

I say go with Rashad Jennings. McFadden is DONE!

  • the flynnatic dr robert

I will be clear. My opinion has not changed.

Flynn is better but we may never find out.

Pryor is awful but I have no choice. He’s the guy no matter what now.

Pryor and DA will go down together.

I just like Pryor cuz he’s a good young man. So now I’m resigned to hoping he pans out. But I know how unlikely that is.

Sucks to be a Raiders fan right now.

    We are toast.

  • RealTruRaider

Pretty fkin embarrassing, hope he kept the projector around

  • MistaBrown

you guys are right winning a Super Bowl is not cool and does not prove anything.

Don’t talk to me until you have won at least 4 or 5

  • eastoaklandraider

dont start with the excuses, he is the prime model for what YOU want and it doest work.

  • SnBG

Yes they do. Can you say our Oline is better than a 30 rank. Get real

  • Just Fire Baby

    No passion.
    YOu need the rah-rah stuff.
You used to make fun of me about it during the Bruce v Jamarcus stuff, but I have seen that you have come around.
    Welcome aboard.

  • the flynnatic dr robert

    Yes

  • Blackholepriest

I said it when we got him that he wouldn’t beat out TP. I called him an insurance policy…….period

  • Jon Train

Best example is the Patriots. HC and QB come first…then its all about the OLine and Defensive front 7. Greatest franchise of the free agent era…and their template lets WRs RBs and secondary walk. Patriots are great because of coaching, QB, and trench play. Really don’t need any more evidence than that.

  • Follow The B@uceman

Flynn is better? HAHAHAHAHA……Delusional as your playhouse is being torn down

  • eastoaklandraider

when your PM with all the hype you better win 3 or 4.

  • Just Fire Baby

12 years of playoff appearances and 2 Super Bowl appearances “don’t work”?
Save the shock and awe for your Dr. Stooge debates. This is graduate level.

  • RealTruRaider

Yes, this cements it, you just don’t know Football, you can’t help it, you have ZERO football acumen, no feel for the game what so ever (kinda like Flynn:)

  • SnBG

Don’t you know why Pryor is starting. Cause the Oline sucks and the coaches know this. They aren’t stupid.Pryor still is unproven other than the fact that he can run.

  • MistaBrown

I don’t know why they even keep score anymore.

  • the flynnatic dr robert

His passing stats equaled pryors seasonal stars. And this was while struggling. Yeah he’s by far the better passer.

  • Just Fire Baby

    So what does “work”?
The Ravens going through 3 LT’s in what will now be there last 7 games?
The SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS had an awful O-line last year.
You and Charlie thought “HEY THEY ARE 1ST ROUND PICKS, THEY ARE GREAT”.
Oher + McKinnie = bottom of the barrel

  • RealTruRaider

Jennings??? We in trouble, we need a RB if DMC is done this year

  • The Beeeeech Dawg

OakDork, please don’t use my homie Tupac’s image for your avatar. Bringing shame to the rap game. Be smart and change that or the Dawg will have no choice but to destroy you verbally through hip hop warfare
YOU BEEN PUT ON NOTICE, BEEEECH STYLE

  • eastoaklandraider

    QB Oline front 7 league.

  • the flynnatic dr robert

Stfu. Quit trying to follow me around.

  • Just Fire Baby

Yes, so many guys are winning 3 or 4.
There has been ONE QB to win 3 in the last 30 years.

  • JaMarcusGotScrewed

    Joe Flacco disagrees with you.
