Raiders-Chargers game broadcast nationally, locally

By Steve Corkran
Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 at 4:11 pm in Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders-Chargers game will be televised locally on KRON, a Raiders spokesman said Thursday afternoon.
The league announced earlier this week that the game Sunday will be televised nationally on NFL Network as a result of the start time being pushed back from 1:25 p.m. to 8:35.
This marks the third regular-season home game that sold out in advance of the league-mandated deadline of 72 hours before kick-off. Also, the Raiders have sold out all but one game since the start of the 2011 season.

    Thought it wasn’t………

  • plunkhead

Why do some people have trouble believing players have alcohol and drug problems? Many of us cannot handle it well.
It works at first but soon you start losing it. Same with pro players times 100

I stopped while I was in school. I develop and sell properties in Jordan. The problems in Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and other surrounding countries make it a great business. The key is to develop cheap properties (apartments).see more00

Wow! That’s an optimal but dangerous market. Good luck to you man.
You could make some big time £ S D (as in money) there.
You must have homes in both countries but I’ll bet you still like living in SD.
    Hope your family’s doing well.

Anybody want freeman? Don’t think I do. Unless we can read Flynn I guess. Freeman makes more sense than a backup than McGloin I guess. Don’t really have to change the Pryor game plan too much. Although I don’t see freeman doing read option…..

  • Downhomedude

Our line is a 5 piece turnstile; unless Freeman has mobility to break containment and not lose yardage every time the dam breaks, we need someone like Pryor to keep plays alive…

  • Rico Stifler

Freeman is a pocket passer who is pretty mobile. He might not be as mobile as Pryor but he is a much better passer.

  • Rico Stifler

Sorry, you’ve been fired from life…..

  • spiff

Freeman had a tough time behind his line. I think we will leave the quarterback position alone for awhile. The only way we sign Freeman is if we set -up Pryor again with another concussion this weak.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    True that Plunk.

  • Rico Stifler

I’ll take Freeman. He’s a better passer and knows Olsen’s offense better too. I might sit him to let him get acclimated to his new teammates. Or let him compete with Pryor for the starting job out the gate.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Interesting commenting on two posts at the same time.

  • spiff

    Correction ‘ this week ‘.

  • The_Judge37

Yes and No. It’d be nice to have a back up with experience and a plan B if Pryor isn’t the guy. And also TP2 has risen to the occasion everytime Reggie McMumbles tries to replace him. But i Don’t think Freeman is the Guy either so we would eventually just waste the next year or two finding that out.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    No doubt.
If they brought him in it would be for the intention of starting him. Not as a backup for Pryor.

  • The_Judge37

Competition time is over for this season. Can’t have these guys splitting reps in practice.

  • Just Fire Baby

Did they scrub some of the substance abuse stuff from the previous thread?
What fun is the internet if you can’t start some completely unfounded and unsubstantiated rumors?

  • Raider O

My family is doing well, and we are expecting a new member in Jan. thank you for asking, and I hope all is well with you.
My wife wants to move, she misses her family, but I don’t want to, which means we will move. lol
    Happy wife = less drama.

  • KoolKell

No to Freeman. Develop the High Character, highly talented QB we already have. Already.

  • Rico Stifler

And who are you referring to? Can’t be Pryor cuz the highly talented part eliminates him….

  • Prometheus

why not? if raiders lose sunday the season is over anyway.

  • KoolKell

That’s exactly who I’m talking about. You guessed it.

  • Rico Stifler

You’re right. Let’s give them all to Freeman. He gives us the best chance to win anyways…..

  • …And Justice for AL

    Bs

  • The_Judge37

Because that would be retarded of Allen and Reggie….Man, when i put it that way, it makes it a very real possibility.

  • The_Judge37

    Oh Rob, you’re good.

  • plunkhead

Its almost like they have mods. It will let me spell re c t um but I cant put them together and in a minute this will disappear at least it did earlier

  • Just Fire Baby

I don’t see any way Freeman helps in 2013, and would just be a distraction.
Take a look at it in the offseason if you must, when he can have the benefit of a training camp and such.

  • …And Justice for AL

    B, S

  • Just Fire Baby

    Of all things too.
Hell I even provided a link!!!!

  • Rico Stifler

But Pryor isn’t highly talented as you put it. The guy can’t read a defense, can’t even make his progressions cuz he can only read half the field.

Freeman is a much better passer and he knows Olsen’s offense better than Pryor ever will.

  • spiff

    exactly………

  • …And Justice for AL

    Agreed

  • KoolKell

    Agreed.

  • Rico Stifler

    Who is Rob?

  • …And Justice for AL

    B S

  • Rico Stifler

It’d be retarded of RM and DA to try and give this team the best chance to succeed and have a future QB?

  • plunkhead

Maybe its etting flagged because the re c t um was in ref to the good doctor

  • The_Judge37

You provided a link to Plunk’s re c t um?

  • …And Justice for AL

    B. S.

  • KoolKell

    I disagree of course.

  • Rico Stifler

    Where is the BS?

  • The_Judge37

LOL, stop it. I’m giving props for this one.

  • plunkhead

If they bring in Freeman, they are telling everyone TP will never be a pro QB and we will do anything to keep him off the field.

  • Raider O

Gives him to learn the PB, get reps, and it will give us a chance to find out if we have a QB for the future.

  • Rico Stifler

You’re right, Pryor as our QB of the future is total BS
