OAKLAND – The Raiders’ defense and special teams play highlighted the second quarter tonight, as Oakland entered halftime with a 17-point advantage.
San Diego drove 79 yards to the Oakland 1 and had two plays to try to punch it into the end zone. But a Philip Rivers swing pass was incomplete on third down, and then Danny Woodhead was stopped short of the goal line on fourth down.
A Raiders fumble recovery led to a 47-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski for a 17-0 Raiders lead with 4:13 left in the first half. Oakland’s defense limited San Diego to one first down the rest of the half.
Oakland scored on its first offensive play, a 44-yard pass from Terrelle Pryor to Rod Streater. The Raiders drove 88 yards on 13 plays on their second possession to score on a 2-yard pass from Pryor to Denarius Moore.
Pryor completed all eight of his pass attempts in the first quarter for 105 yards. He finished the first half with a 131.9 quarterback rating (13 for 18, 141 yards, 2 TD, O INT).

  • EMRaiders

our D in the redzone has been pretty good this season, no?

  • Alex7

Raiders smelled that draw play. Loss of 2.

  • 0ak R8rs

Umh. Porter. And Burnett. Again and again. I may have said that once or twice in the past.

  • Stringer Bell

  • Raider O

Exactly Stoned Monkey. Our defense is exhausted.

  • Rico Stifler

It’s still bad cuz i don’t make that many mistakes. lol

  • JaMarcusGotScrewed

This game is bringing back memories of when our other #2 made the huge plays to win the game and the D let it slip away against the Chargers. The D needs to slam the door this time.

  • 8raiderreign8

At Ricksy’s. lovin the game: loving life.

  • loyal

    Oh Fouts, calm down

  • Back-N-Black

Offense needs to answer… at least get 3 and kill some clock

  • Rico Stifler

Remember when we had Pope at safety how badly he couldn’t tackle?

  • Alex7

Just realized this is the former Broncos DC facing the former Broncos OC. You know DA is fired up about it.

  • 10centsworth

    Enjoy THIS game, bud.

  • R8erEduc8er

After Fluker’s personal foul, no way they should have marches down field so easily! Dangit.

  • Stringer Bell

    New post

  • Prometheus

Pryor and the O need to score a TD, put the chargettes in the fetal position where they belong

  • Raider O

It should be like this every week. Remember 2000-2002?

  • 0ak R8rs

Ok. Just need a sustained drive of 5 or 6 minutes ending w any sort of score and this game is over.

  • J Hill

Nice 6 min drive for 3 right here, olson!!!!

  • jesusraiderjim

Our D has been on the field a lot contrary to the score. I THINK? LOL

  • loyal

Pryor can prove even more on this drive. Pls let him be “the one”

  • lefty12

maybe not over but things would be a lot better

  • 2romes

The defense gave up a quick fifty yards when they did not have to play that way.

  • loyal

Could have used a nicer return

  • loyal

Gee, can we see some more Fouts highlights
