OAKLAND – Charles Woodson returned a San Diego fumble 25 yards for a touchdown as the Raiders defense continued to hold firm in the third quarter.
Woodson scooped up a Danny Woodhead fumble and raced into the end zone. It was his 13th career defensive TD, tying him with Rod Woodson and Darren Sharper for the NFL record.
San Diego thought it had a TD on a 12-yard pass from Philip Rivers to Keenan Allen, but it was overturned on a replay. The Chargers settled for a 35-yard Nick Novak field goal.
Rivers finished a drive with 14:57 to go with a 5-yard shovel pass for a TD to Danny Woodhead.

DJ Johnny,I waited until after the game to say this, but it would be nice if you kept all your negativity to yourself during games in the future. You are a good Raider, but your constant negative comments are a drag.Go Oakland Raiders.

I prefer Jennings. Should have never been taken out unless he’s hurt.

  • Raidersfan727

remember Denver started 2-3 last year too =D

  • Raider O

    TP: 18/23 221 yards, and 2 TDs.

  • Try Some Reality

    Can we beat the Queefs?

  • lefty12

    Great TEAM effort

  • Just Fire Baby

Gurode’s fumble recovery was a huge play.
Veteran presence we will call it

  • Raider O

    TP!!!!!
    RIP AL!!

  • RediaR

Whether the call was good or bad is independent of the result. The result was bad (for them), but going for it gives you either an extra three to five points, or REALLY good defensive field position that will likely result in good offensive field position.

  • Try Some Reality

    What’s that spell?

    135.7 QB rating.

    Paging Hack Robert.

  • Raidersfan727

Possible.. but they are a tough test, different even then the broncos.. If we control Charles, we can win the game. I dont think Smith can beat us

  • Rico Stifler

Yeah, but it did get sloppy for a bit, but the D stepped big in the end despite playing super soft prevent D

  • Raider Al from Atlanta, Ga

    The Raiders !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrelle Pryor is the franchise QB !!
Charles Woodson and Willie Brown #24 lives forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

  • RediaR

Looked like he was hurt. Streater too I guess.

  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

    New post.

  • Just Fire Baby

WEll I certinainly overreacted this week on Reggie.
60 minutes of Matt Flynn will do that to you though.

  • RealTruRaider

Makes up for his bone headed penalty’s and stepping on TP numerous times

  • Alex7

that Charger’s OL trying to scoop up the ball will be lambasted in film study.

  • stormbringerSS

    enjoy pryors LAST win idiot

  • Rico Stifler

Honestly, I think we should keep Gurode at C and play Wiz at LG. I think that the better way cuz Gurode is a very experienced center and has been a very good center in the league.

  • 2romes

Got to keep Houston fresh in the second half in order to get sacks n the second half.

  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

You said he wouldn’t win this one. Oh, well. Redneck racist losers aren’t exactly known for their ability to count, now are they?

  • RealTruRaider

Yeah, we were all melting down, could of used the Beeech meltdown meter

  • stormbringerSS

    pryor sucks

  • Raider O

We can, but its not an easy task.
We have TP and Woodson. If they have a great game, we will win.

  • Rico Stifler

But I will enjoy you six feet under getting cornholed in hell with a pineapple from Hitler, your idol….

  • RealTruRaider

He has to clean some stuff up, but he was probably just rusty, might not be a bad idea

  • 10centsworth

Raiders just won and you got these visions in your head?

  • Rico Stifler

Gurode was a pro bowl center and I think it is his more natural position.

  • Rico Stifler

Visions of idiots like Capt. Hitler, sure. He’s a chode.

  • 0ak R8rs

He had nothing to redeem himself for. He’s a rookie that missed OTAs and TC and is starting in the most difficult position to learn in the NFL. This is only the beginning.

  • stormbringerSS

toiIetpaper2 = ONE TD drive the WHOLE game……he SUCKS

  • Raider O

TP: 18/23 221 yards and TDs
Rivers: 36/49 411 yards, TDs, and 3 INTs.

  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

So does your mom. We have proof.

  • Raider Al from Atlanta, Ga

Read this, If you can Stupid !!

Returning to the starting lineup after missing last week’s game due to lingering concussion issues, Terrelle Pryor was terrific in leading the Oakland Raiders to a 27-17 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday night.

Pryor completed 18 of 23 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns. For the second straight game, he posted a passer rating over 100 with a 135.7 rating against the Chargers.

  • Eldiabs

True, not to downplay how we did but I don’t think SD is that good this year
