unlike carson palmer and matt flynn, pryor is as mentally tough as any human being on the planet.

he is unfazed by the fact that big mack and allen have tried with all their might to dismiss him, replace him, and force him to sit behind inferior players.

I want allen fired and im glad davis jr stepped in and shut big mack down on the qb issue.

Pryor is oakland end of story

  • The Big Banana

Perfect sleeper game coming up. Time to raid the Queefs’ house while they’re having sweet dreams of being undefeated.

Breaking: Falcons fear Julio Jones likely
OUT for the rest of the year w a foot injury. He’s getting a second
    opinion tomorrow to determine

Olsen needs to start using Jacoby Ford more and his speed as a weapon. He needs to be getting at least 6-7 touches a game. His talent is being wasted. His presence would open up things a bit more for the offense as well.

  • Jonathan V.

Huge blow to the falcons IMO, but good to know that we have a better record then them.

  • http://www.raiders.com/ Drexl

    Allen fired?
    RM shut down?

Musta been Davis that cut Flynn,,,,

  • nolimits3333

RM and Allen backed Flynn and Knapp.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Miss Tick, woke up this morning wondering what your feelings were about Carson Palmer. Get out your thesaurus of derogatory hyperbole and let us know.

  • DKnight007

Olsen and Soprano need to also start mixing things up on blocking schemes to keep defenses thinking and honest. I’m seeing way too many straight ahead power runs. They need to start doing more counter trey blocking and pulling that big guard Nix on counters. We need to see some stretch runs also that get to the perimeter and a few more zone runs so the OLine and their blocking scheme does not become predictable. Besides the OLine being patchwork, I think the lack of creativity and mixing things up with the running game and the blocking is not helping.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Just doesn’t work with the new format.

  • http://www.raiders.com/ Drexl

Hue Jax’s Raids would be due a let down and take the week off.

DA’s Raids unlikely to take the week off, bench mark game this week.

  • Thec

TP2 reminds me of the greatest Raider of all time number 12…

When 12 took the field, I believed we had a chance to win.

  • DutchRaid

unlike carson palmer and matt flynn… “(and Cam Newton)”, pryor is as mentally tough as any human being on the planet.
C’Mon Mistic, get Cam on the horn and coach him up. He looks terrible! He was worse than Carson Palmer on Sunday…

  • Raideraholic

League will pick a Hard Knocks team if no one offers
    ————————————
If HBO “picked” the Raiders it would be interesting but it would have been far more intriguing if Al was still alive.

  • http://www.raiders.com/ Drexl

They are both gone, whats your point?

  • Thec

TP2 will keep these guys up…

  • dplunk

Always wondered what kind of QB Matty Ice would be without all of those weapons

  • Thec

The one thing the “neck talkers” failed to realize or understand is the “IT FACTOR”…. TP2 has IT

  • HGDaddy

Al would not have gone for it. he probably would have sued the league to not be on it.

  • Raideraholic

    I could see that

  • Thec

I would agree however i am dissappointed in JFORD in the return game. He looks tentative…

  • http://www.raiders.com/ Drexl

do you not think the “patchwork” nature of this O-line has anything to due with creativity?

  • Jonathan V.

Same with Krappernick and Wilson. Receivers and teams do make qbs look better believe it or not. Not taking anything away from Ryan but unless your Brady, Peyton or Brees you ain’t the reason the team is as good as it is.

  • Thec

Pryor lost BOTH of his male figures to death in very short span of time, and yet he is still here…Mental tough, no doubt.

  • Thec

The Raids are going to beat the cooks also.

  • Jonathan V.

Allen probably would decline if they offered us the show. I read some time ago that mckenzie and Allen aren’t interested in circus attention and such. Mark would happily take it just so we can get some publicity as well as I would.

  • HGDaddy

    NFL Philosophy ‏@NFLosophy14h
Greg Olson was OC when Freeman had his best year. He made Henne look decent for a couple games. Now Pryor. That can’t be a coincidence.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

disagree, cam is the classic case of a young player trying to do too much and pressing in order to make up for the deficiencies on his team. bad hc, awful o line, terrible wr play and crummy defensive secondary

If you watched the game, and i know you didnt cam was on fire in the first half only to have the wide outs drop first downs and tds. the o line has been a mess and cam was sacked 7 times. If you sack newton 7 times then there is a major problem with the o line, same as last year

the defense also began to falter in the second half and cam simply took on too much himself.

rivera will be fired and the talented nucleolus of newton kuechly and star and johnson will have a far better showing next season.

besides cam isnt doing bad 7 tds 5 ints

unlike plamer 5 tds 9 ints

  • HGDaddy

I think the story coming out is the NFL will choose the team to go on it if no one volunteers. I don’t think RM or DA has a choice.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

olosn doesnt understand the offense he is trying to call.

drop the wild cat garbage and run the jet sweep with pryor and ford / moore

the fakes on the jet sweep can have built in bubble screens and deep patterns off pump fakes

also where is the ghost motion?

this would help the o line and cause even more hesitation from the defense

we need better coaches, how come i know this from my couch but guys being paid in the nfl dont?

  • DKnight007

Probably, but Olsen and Soprano should still at least be trying to do some stretch runs or a few zone runs to mix it up on defensive lines.

  • Thec

Not sold DA or GO for that matter however, for the sake of the Raids, I do hope they figure it out.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

    disagree

pryor is making olson look good, olson gets zero credit for what pryor is doing in my book

he had pryor designated as his “toy” to be used in “packages”

  • Raideraholic

A little harsh, don’t you think?

  • Thec

Speed kills, TP2 has been doing it with a smoke and mirrors oline…

GO may be too steeped in his way, i hope this is not the case.

  • The Beeeeech Dawg

Unfortunately your book is called The Insane Blog Nutjob’s Guide To Krapping His Pants

  • Thec

I wonder about this all the time. How come some of the suggestions that come from the Semi’s, are better than some of the decisions the so called Pro’s make…

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

fun watching geno prove the hater wrong last night

he is going to be a very good qb for the jest for a long time

  • DKnight007

Glad they didn’t sign Freeman. It would have undercut all the hard work and results that TP has shown the team so far.

  • eastoaklandraider

Damn Thec I didnt know you was that old,LOL or are you talkn bout Gannon?

  • r8ter4evr

If you armchair coaches were so smart you would be walking the sidelines. Come on now

  • Raideraholic

Maybe over time that will happen. I think right now they don’t want to overwhelm Pryor. Let his God given talent and instincts take over for now and then introduce more variations of the playbook as time goes on.

  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

Argh! He’s on one of my fantasy teams.

  • loyal

Wonder how TP would have played in the place of Flynn in the 2 Green Bay games that led to Flynnsanity.

  • DKnight007

McK needs to start thinking about resigning guys like C Wood, Jenkins, Porter, Sims and Walker. Also Houston and Veldheer will need extensions. McK will have plenty of cap room to resign his own players next year. I also hope with DMC’s injury history, McK can resign him to a bargain deal. No way DMC will be able to demand top dollar as an injury riddled RB in the open market.

  • DutchRaid

3 Ints, fumble (safety) and sacked 7 times and none of the blame is on the one number one pick entering his 3rd year as a QB?
    You sound like Doctor Rob…
