KANSAS CITY — The Chiefs grabbed their first lead of the day with another touchdown run by running back Jamaal Charles. This one came from only 2 yards out and one play after Raiders cornerback Tracy Porter committed a holding penalty in the end zone.
Penalties was the theme of the quarter for the Raiders. On their drive that preceded the Chiefs tiebreaking score, the Raiders committed four penalties, though one got wiped out by a Raiders time-out before the infraction.
Worse, on the final play of the ill-fated serries, Terrelle Pryor attempted a pass off his back foot, with a Chiefs blitz bearing down on him and the Chiefs intercepted the floater.
The Chiefs scored the go-ahead touchdown four plays later.
The Raiders ahve the ball deep in their own territory, with Chiefs fans getting more and more vocal as they sense a Chiefs victory.
It’s not over yet, of course.
