Raiders 0, Chiefs 0 — End of 1st quarter

By Steve Corkran

The Raiders and Chiefs are engaged in a field-position battle right now, with the defenses ruling the day so far.
The Raiders recorded three sacks of Alex Smith in the first quarter, while the Chiefs took down Terrelle Pryor twice in the opening 15 minutes.
Pryor has completed all three of his passes for 32 yards, while Darren McFadden hasn’t been able to get untracked running the ball — 4 yards on three carries.
Sio Moore, Nick Roach and Vance Walker recorded the sacks for the Raiders, who have the ball at their 48-yard line.

Yeah C Wood came in as a rookie and handled his business.

Glad to see they kinda did minus a few plays here or there. The O lost the game, not the D.

Huh? Who are you talking about? I thought this was about Pryor? If you’re talking about Hayden, I like Hayden and think he just needs more time to get acclimated especially considering he missed almost the entire offseason.

I think Gurode should stay at C and Wiz should go back to LG when he is back healthy.
